I have a rescue pup and cat of my own and would love to take care of your furry family as well. I have years of experience with both puppies, full grown doggos, and cats. I have pretty open availability during the weekday and most weekends and would love to help you out! I have taken care of dogs from chihuahua size to a retired racing greyhound and a leonberger. I consistently stayed overnight watching a border collie, and have watered plants during drop in visits for cats. I moved recently from Michigan and took a break from walking dogs while I sorted my life out. Kansas City is such a big dog town, I’m excited to be back in the dog walking game! Looking forward to meeting your fur kid!

I will follow whatever instructions you leave for taking care of your dog or cat in your home. I want to leave your house just as I found it, if not better. Any messes created by your dog or cat will be cleaned up, and for cats, I’ll also clean out the litter boxes.

Lauren was excellent! She arrived on time and sent updates on our pups as well as mail/packages that arrived while we were gone. She took great care of our girl and boy. I think they were both more sad she was gone than they were happy we were back! She was accommodating when our return was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances as well! She left our home clean and went above and beyond with washing towels and bedding before we returned. 10 out of 10 recommend Lauren for sitting!

Our first time using Rover, and Lauren was fantastic! We don't live local & my sister who was watching our sweet, old Beagle mix needed some help in the morning before work. We met Lauren first to introduce her to Alice. She explained the process with Rover, we shared our wants and needs for Alice, and Lauren took notes to ensure she met our expectations. We received daily reports and pictures. We felt confident in Lauren and was relieved to have her helping while we were gone for 3 weeks. We'd definitely recommend her to others! Thanks Lauren for taking great care of our Alice.

Lauren was great and available short notice. It’s clear she has lots of experience with dogs and loves them! She even took Nell Bell out in the pouring rain and was very prompt. Thank you so much for hanging with my senior best friend and providing her good care.

Schedule
I work from home so have a pretty flexible schedule for day-time visits. My weekend availability fluctuates, but I will make sure my calendar stays up to date.

- Mainly I would want to know any health risks and behavioral risks. If the dog needs medicine, when and how do I administer it? What sort of feeding and potty schedule is the dog on, what are their favorite toys or things to do? Basically - what do I need to know in order to make sure your dog is happy and well taken care of.
