About: I grew up with dogs, and have numerous years of experience dog sitting, doing check ins and walking dogs starting from about age 12, as well as volunteering at Open Door Animal Sanctuary. My current dog is a rescue from Mexico. He is very laid back and stoic, and is an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen. However, my dog growing up was reactive, so I have experience with dogs of that temperament as well. I have recently moved back home from San Diego, CA to Webster Groves after 8 years. When pets spend time outside in my fenced yard, they’ll be supervised 100% of the time. My private yard is completely enclosed with gates/walls that are 5+ feet high. I can also accommodate walks, if you’d like. There are no other permanent pets in the home, and I usually don’t take multiple different clients at once. I also have experience with basic dog first-aid, such as washing out or bandaging a wound, applying ointments/medicine, etc. In case of pet transport, I have an SUV with fold-down seats that can accommodate any size of dog/multiple pets.
