I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own.

Karen took care of our 12 1/2 year old female pup who was raised in Nicaragua where other dogs were a threat not a friend. Our pup loves people but is not always friendly with other dogs. Karen was very attentive and communicative during the week our pup stayed with her. She was patient and kind We would use Karen again.

Schedule
I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup.

My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. I typically walk them 4 to 6 times a day, depending on the wants/needs of the pup and the weather. I will be sure to check in multiple times daily with you and send photos and videos. I am very quick to respond to messages!
A typical day
I am an early riser and your pups will typically be walked by 7:30am. Last walk in the evening is usually around 11pm. My family and I will want to play with your pup, go for walks, and love on them. They are welcome on all furniture. Lots of cozy spots in our house!

- Large high energy pups are not a good fit for our house. My son does not enjoy when bigger dogs jump on him, and we prefer more chill pups, unless they are smaller. Is your pup easily excitable? Does she jump on people to greet them or when excited? Does he/she get along with other pups? I am unable to accept pitbulls, as they are not covered by insurance.
