“I’m so pleased I connected with Khine. I have two large dogs, one is high energy boy & one that’s less ambitious, as she has a few more years on her. When we met with Khine, both my dogs liked her and were almost immediately comfortable with her. She is reliable, punctual and is confident handling my dogs. (Handling 2 large dogs is not a small task) I also really appreciate the updates and photos she sends me after each visit. I believe Khine genuinely cares about my dogs and I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Kathryn has been reliable and trustworthy with walking my 2 doggies. I really have piece of mind knowing the dogs are going to get great care and a great walk while I'm at work!”

About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.

About: I have four dogs from 10 pounds to 150 pounds, and I’ve had dogs my whole life! I love taking care of animals so much that I wanted to be a vet when I was younger. I’m working part time and going to school so I should have plenty of time to play with your dogs or cats! I have two days off a week, as well! I am happy to follow any instructions for your dog’s care, I know it’s not one size fits all! Please let me know of any special commands your dog has, and I’ll be sure to try and work on them with them!

About: I have been around animals my entire life. This has enabled me to be comfortable with rescues, seniors, puppies, and special needs animals. I have experience pet sitting, dog walking, and with basic dog training. I have three pets of my own, with vast medical and behavioral needs so I am familiar with challenges of all types. I am always willing to learn and strive to do better every day. I will be holding a close to full time job that will take up Most of my mornings (4am - 12pm). This schedule could fluctuate - however I will be steadily available during afternoons and evenings. I have a short commute to Downtown and Midtown Reno so I can optimize time with your pet(s). I plan to offer 30 minute walks but am very open to adjustments on that time based on individual needs. Drop in visits will usually be about 30 minutes to cover all basic needs and give much appreciated attention. Again this can be flexible based on individual pet needs. Safety is a huge part of caring for my own pets, and I plan to carry this to yours. For dog walking education on breeds, energy levels, and health safety standards is something I am always researching. Knowing when weather can negatively impact a pets health, how to safely redirect from potentially dangerous situations, and constantly monitoring your individual pets needs is always my priority. For drop in visits and pet sitting safety is even more paramount. Making sure cats are safe and indoors, all potential chewing and safety hazards are removed, and that every animal is looked over so anything amiss is caught early is essential. Your pets are most comfortable in your own home, and I want to make sure that that comfort is met with high safety measures on my part.
About: What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I provide. I keep a calm, clean home and limit the number of pets I board at one time so each pet gets plenty of individual attention. I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine, providing a low-stress environment, and keeping you updated with daily photos and check-ins. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — not just watched. Because I work from home full time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship while you’re away. Plenty of outside time and cuddle time! When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I maintain a clean, calm environment and limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each animal receives plenty of attention. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bedtime. Because I work from home full time, pets are rarely left alone and receive consistent supervision and companionship. I also provide daily photo updates and check-ins for peace of mind. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining consistency and comfort. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding routines, walks, medications if needed, and any household preferences. I’m respectful of your home and ensure your pet feels safe and relaxed while keeping you updated with photos and detailed check-ins after each visit.
“We are so happy to have met Neesa, she’s always available and promptly helps us with our pets, long walks, follows all directions and goes above and beyond by bringing boxes and trash bins in.”

“I’m using crutches at the moment and needed someone to walk my dog. This was my first time using Rover; it’s been a great experience. Cat replied to my request quickly and on short notice, which I appreciated. My rescue dog, a terrier mix, is not around other people very often, but he took to Cat immediately and returned happy each of the three days that she walked him. It’s all gone so well that I have another week of walks scheduled with Cat.”

About: I've have taken care of animals since I was in elementary school, I have taken care of reptiles so I'm not afraid of bugs and I've also taken care of dogs and even during covid I had a family member bring me their dogs for 3 months to take care of them. Currently since I moved to reno and looking for a part time job I have a lot of time to be taking care of dogs currently so I don't mind what time it will be. I have two dogs and they are friendly, and I always look out for them weather that's in my backyard or on a hike since currently in reno there seems to be many snakes out there and I would like to keep them safe, but also want them to have fun while being safe.
About: My sister relied on me to house sit and watch her dogs for a couple of weeks every summer when I was in middle and high school. I grew up with dogs and was responsible for taking them on walks, feeding them, brushing them, bathing them, and playing with them. I am between jobs so I am quite flexible right now. I am looking to get a full-time position at which point I will update my schedule here. My cats are feral rescues so I cannot afford to bring any other animals into my home, but I am very cautious while going on walks to be very aware of other dogs (especially off leash), people driving too fast in residential areas, and making sure to bring adequate water for walks on warm days.
About: Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm a Reno local, lifelong dog lover, caretaker, and proud dog mom to a 10-year-old Mini Dachshund and a 4-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd. Over the past 10+ years, I've cared for dogs for friends, family, and referrals from people who trusted me with their pets. Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, a neighborhood walk, or an energetic adventure, I treat every dog as if they were my own. People often tell me that dogs gravitate toward my calm, steady presence. At the same time, I love being playful, engaging, and making sure dogs have fun. You'll often find me taking dogs on long neighborhood walks, exploring local trails, or relaxing on the couch for some quality cuddle time after a good outing. I believe every dog learns best through positive experiences and small wins. Whether your dog is shy, anxious, reactive, energetic, young, or senior, I focus on building trust, creating a positive environment, and helping them feel safe and confident. A little about me: I work remotely as a Relationship Coach and Transaction Support Coordinator, which gives me flexibility during the day and allows me to provide dependable care and attention. I'm available during business hours as well as weekends, making it easy to fit walks and drop-in visits into your dog's routine. Joining Rover is a natural fit because it combines two things I genuinely enjoy: caring for others and getting outside for more walks. Caretaking has always been important to me. I spent years working as a nanny, and I bring that same level of responsibility, patience, and attentiveness to every animal I care for. I'm comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, administering medication, and adapting to your dog's unique needs and routine. After each walk or visit, I'll send photos, videos, and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, communicative, and genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs, I'd love to meet you and your furry family member! I work remotely and part-time. Pet care is the perfect compliment to my flexible work schedule. I sit at the computer for most of the day and would love nothing more than an excuse to get more steps in. I'm a firm believer that your dog, your rules. Every dog has their own routine, boundaries, and needs, and I take those seriously. Whether that's sticking to a feeding schedule, reinforcing training, administering medication, or accommodating behavioral or health concerns, I'll follow your instructions carefully. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable and keep their routine as consistent as possible while you're away.
“Carrie is awesome. When I sent her a message, she responded back super fast and is great about communicating when she can or cannot walk my dog. She is always punctual and has a wonderful personality. 😊”

About: Grew up having a dog (or 2 at times…as well as bunnies…and some other reptiles!). I currently live in an accommodation where I am not able to have a pet and I have become to miss animals more and more! There is no such thing as a bad animal, only a poorly trained one, and I treat them all with love and care. I’m available every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday all day (and night)! My schedule can be as free as needed on those days and I am open to spending lots of time with your pets to make sure they get the best care possible! I am very careful and thoughtful around pets and other people’s property. I will treat your belongings and animals with the utmost respect and care.
About: I live local to the area, and my schedule is extremely flexible to fit your needs. I understand that no two animals are the same and I take that very seriously when caring for them. I am currently working during the weekdays, but I am available during the day to take them out on walks/bathroom breaks and I am free evenings/weekends. I currently live in an apartment. Unless the dog is on the smaller side, I would prefer at home visits instead of taking the animals to my place.

Incredible sitter who’s both reliable and consistent. She always spent extra time to make sure my puppy was well taken care of. Communication was great throughout, and I always felt comfortable having her in my home and trusting her with my puppy who I care about a lot.

Jessica is an awesome dog walker! She helped walk and feed my pup while I was at work. She sends the cutest pictures and gives a lovely summary of how the walk went. I am grateful for Jessica for being dependable and giving my pup oodles of love and attention! Thank you!

The whole process with Samantha has been positive. She was on time our initial meetup and was easy to talk to. She didnt seem phased by my dog's excited barking, which scares some people. On the day of the walk i got a notification and a photo, and Samantha responded promptly when I asked how everything went. She locked up when she left and everything was in order when I got home! I will definitely be booking her again. Thank you, Samantha:)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment.
