“Laura was wonderful! She arrived on time and sent me photos of my doggo during their walk after which Wynrie was happy and tired. Would not hesitate to use again!”

About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.
“I’m using crutches at the moment and needed someone to walk my dog. This was my first time using Rover; it’s been a great experience. Cat replied to my request quickly and on short notice, which I appreciated. My rescue dog, a terrier mix, is not around other people very often, but he took to Cat immediately and returned happy each of the three days that she walked him. It’s all gone so well that I have another week of walks scheduled with Cat.”

About: What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I provide. I keep a calm, clean home and limit the number of pets I board at one time so each pet gets plenty of individual attention. I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine, providing a low-stress environment, and keeping you updated with daily photos and check-ins. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — not just watched. Because I work from home full time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship while you’re away. Plenty of outside time and cuddle time! When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I maintain a clean, calm environment and limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each animal receives plenty of attention. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bedtime. Because I work from home full time, pets are rarely left alone and receive consistent supervision and companionship. I also provide daily photo updates and check-ins for peace of mind. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining consistency and comfort. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding routines, walks, medications if needed, and any household preferences. I’m respectful of your home and ensure your pet feels safe and relaxed while keeping you updated with photos and detailed check-ins after each visit.
About: My sister relied on me to house sit and watch her dogs for a couple of weeks every summer when I was in middle and high school. I grew up with dogs and was responsible for taking them on walks, feeding them, brushing them, bathing them, and playing with them. I am between jobs so I am quite flexible right now. I am looking to get a full-time position at which point I will update my schedule here. My cats are feral rescues so I cannot afford to bring any other animals into my home, but I am very cautious while going on walks to be very aware of other dogs (especially off leash), people driving too fast in residential areas, and making sure to bring adequate water for walks on warm days.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes since I was 13 years old. Friends, family, and neighbors have always trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like my own. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and special care needs. Your pet will always be safe, happy, and cared for with me. I have my own dog as well and would treat your pet like my own!! I currently work on a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and can leave work anytime on weekdays to take care of your pet. I’ll make sure your pet gets lots of walks, playtime, and love while you’re away! I have A dog park right next to my apartment and one friendly dog to keep your pup company. I can easily crate your dog if needed and will follow any routines you provide. We have lots of dog toys and go on lots of walks everyday! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have sat for SO MANY families outside of this app over the years and will send you lots of photos of your pup if you want them!
“Mariana was great! Dependable and and very good with our dogs. She was willing to walk all 3 of our dogs and came for a met and great ahead of time. She was so helpful to us and we will definitely be using her again!”

About: I work from home, so dogs in my care are never left alone and always have company, attention, and love throughout the day. They get multiple walks, dog park time, a calm cozy environment, toys, music, and their own comfortable space to relax. They’re also welcome on the furniture and can sleep in bed if that’s what they’re used to. I truly see dogs as family members, not pets. I treat them the way I would treat my own child — with patience, affection, protection, and lots of care. I love having them near me while I work, and I make sure they feel safe, included, and deeply loved every moment they’re here. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home, so I’m around and available throughout the day. That means your pet gets more attention, regular potty breaks, and consistent companionship—not just a quick visit. On a typical day, I can plan morning, midday, and evening walks/potty breaks, plus playtime and feeding around my work schedule. I keep things structured but flexible, so I can match your pet’s routine (especially helpful for puppies, seniors, or pets that need extra check-ins). Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my priority is always the same: safety, routine, and a calm environment. I’m detail-oriented, I follow your instructions closely, and I keep you updated so you feel confident the whole time. In your home (drop-ins / house sitting): I stick to your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I do safety checks (doors/gates secured, leashes/harnesses fitted correctly, no access to unsafe items). I keep the space tidy and stress low—especially for pets who do best in their familiar environment. I send photo/video updates and notes after visits. In my home (boarding / daycare): Calm, supervised environment with plenty of attention since I work from home. Frequent potty breaks, exercise, and structured downtime. I keep pets separated when needed (feeding time, high energy, or if a dog prefers their own space). Only pet-safe areas are accessible—no unsafe foods, small objects, or risky spaces. My safety rules, always: I don’t take dogs off-leash unless it’s a securely fenced area and you’ve approved it. I use positive reinforcement (no harsh methods). I watch for signs of stress or illness and communicate quickly if anything seems off. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and for you to feel totally at ease.
“Kathryn has been reliable and trustworthy with walking my 2 doggies. I really have piece of mind knowing the dogs are going to get great care and a great walk while I'm at work!”

About: 1st ingredient is passion! Ive had a love for animals since is was a kid. After high school I went to school in Manhattan and worked walking dogs and was hooked. I Went on to get my certification in basic obedience training. I have worked on and off my whole life with dogs it is truly the best job in the world to me. All the years that i have been with dogs all my clients say I am trustworthy, reliable and will go beyond the call of duty to help animals. My main objective whenever I take on an animal of any kind is Safety First! I always evaluate the animal to see how it responds to its owner and then how it responds to me and then how we respond together as a pack. Even if the client tells me their animal is okay to walk with me with other animals if I sense any sort of tension I will say no. Dogs do not have the ability to reason that's why it is very very important to speak their language and sometimes that takes a lot of patience which I have because of my devotion. I am recently retired, 2 years now. That gives me a free week including weekends to provide love and care for all fur babies in need. My entire condominium is set up for Doggy Daycare and it's wonderful it's very welcoming! There are quite a few walking paths in the neighborhood! I live in a 2 story condo with 2 private balcony's. I am on the end unit and have that side of yard (not fenced) to myself. I installed 3 separate auger tie-out cables into the ground., each 30 ft. The condo association takes care of the yard so it is well maintained. This is roughly a 10 unit dwelling surrounded by houses. 75% familys. We also have our own park. walking path and a field dedicated to dogs. I live up against BLM land so there is an awesome path to walk up as well. At at Doggie Daycare they all know when it's time to go for there afternoon walks it is the cutest thing to watch them go to the front door and wait. I'm old school and still live by "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" And " treat it like it was your own" I believe all living things and non should be treated with respect. I can assure you lots of play time and love!

“Kat truly went above and beyond while caring for our girls over the weekend. Luna and Popis absolutely fell in love with her! She was punctual, respectful, and took the time to really understand our daily routines by asking thoughtful questions. We especially appreciated the daily photo updates while we were out of town—it gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pups were happy and well cared for. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she was always easy and pleasant to talk to. Kat was our first Rover pet sitter, and she exceeded all expectations. We would absolutely book her again, and our girls would be thrilled to see her!”

About: I work at an animal hospital and have cpr training. I enjoy sitting for dogs as well as cats. I am detail-oriented and love keeping owners updated! I am a full-time student and part time worker. I am available before and after school and after work and try to make my schedule work for your needs. Reach out with times and I will try and match them! I ensure all doors to your home are locked, I also clean up any messes animals make. I take pictures of the animals food to ensure they are eating (specifically cats). I ensure the animals look happy and healthy before I leave.
About: I’ve had several dogs myself, and worked at several shelters/boarding institutions! I have loved animals my whole life, and think it’s a privilege to get to meet so many new paws and faces! I’ve trained over 200 pups and have no problem working with dogs of all temperaments, size and age! I don’t currently work, I am a college student so generally there is blocks of time where I am unavailable, but no longer than an hour or so! I have a fenced in yard, but prefer to go to clients homes as I think the animals feel more comfortable as well! I treat all animals as my own!

Incredible sitter who’s both reliable and consistent. She always spent extra time to make sure my puppy was well taken care of. Communication was great throughout, and I always felt comfortable having her in my home and trusting her with my puppy who I care about a lot.

Jessica is an awesome dog walker! She helped walk and feed my pup while I was at work. She sends the cutest pictures and gives a lovely summary of how the walk went. I am grateful for Jessica for being dependable and giving my pup oodles of love and attention! Thank you!

The whole process with Samantha has been positive. She was on time our initial meetup and was easy to talk to. She didnt seem phased by my dog's excited barking, which scares some people. On the day of the walk i got a notification and a photo, and Samantha responded promptly when I asked how everything went. She locked up when she left and everything was in order when I got home! I will definitely be booking her again. Thank you, Samantha:)
