“Nikoleta is a wonderful dog sitter! My miniature dachshund, Jake, was so well taken care of in her care - lots of exercise, playtime and hugs! Nikoleta sent me lots of photos and kept me updated throughout the day (as per my request). I would highly recommend Nikoleta - she clearly has a genuine love for animals - she is warm, trustworthy, responsible, kind and has a lot of love to give!”

3. Linda C.
About: I have experience volunteering at several different humane societies, it feels extremely fulfilling and satisfying to me being around all the fur babies. I have owned and taken care of dozens of puppies/dogs throughout my life and have enjoyed every second of it. I have cared for 7 week old puppies to 15 year old dogs, big and small. Most recently, I was a long term foster for a senior dog and it was very rewarding. I've taken care of all my friends and family's dogs as well since I was 14 years old. I know how to bathe small dogs, trim their nails, read their body language, how to get their attention and how to play with them. I am also currently in school to get my degree in veterinary nursing. I believe that the life of an animal is no less precious than the life of a human being, therefore it's important that we love, respect and have patience for them. Right now I am a part time student but am typically available any days after 11am. Weekends I am free all day. Occasionally I do travel every other month but will let you know ahead of time. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet like a member of the family. In my home, I create a safe, cozy, and stimulating environment where they can relax, play, and feel completely at ease. From setting up comfy spots for naps to ensuring plenty of toys and enrichment activities, their happiness is my priority. In your home, I maintain their routine to provide comfort and familiarity—whether that’s sticking to their feeding schedule, taking them on their favorite walking routes, or giving them belly rubs in their favorite spot. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, secure, and cared for no matter where they are!

4. Shawna M.

“Our 2 young puppies and Shawna had their first "meet and greet" last week. Penny is 11 months old and Lucy is 5 months old. Happily, they settled in and did well during their day care time with our favorite dog whisperer. We love that Shawna is with the pups in her care most or all of the day and that she sends pictures to us during the time we're gone. We are so thankful for her.”

5. Holly W.
About: I am an attorney in town looking to watch pups for fun on weekends and the occasional weekday. I’ve had dogs since I can remember and really can’t imagine life without them. I also have lots of experience caring for pups with medical needs as well. I have a very passive and friendly chocolate lab, Kona, who loves to play with others. I have a fenced yard in the Wells Avenue Neighborhood near a large park. Kona and I will take good care of your dog. Boarding would be in my home and include walks and park play. Allow me to ease the pressure on your next trip! *party hats occasionally included 🐶* Midday walks are my favorite paired with a pre-dinner park session! Early morning pickup or late drop off - whatever works best for your schedule. Fenced in yard with plenty of room for play time. Pets are free to be on the furniture as well. Meal time is always the best, but we’ll be sure to separate feeding locations to make the home as safe as possible.

6. Cameron & Amanda M.

“Cameron and Amanda took great care of Emmy while I was on a work trip to Reno. Their dog Mitchell is a total sweetheart and their home is clean and set up well for hosting pups. My dog is a little big introverted so I appreciate that they don't take on too many dogs at once. Communication was prompt and friendly, would definitely recommend them!”

7. Karly & Emily B.

“My dog always has such a great time at Karly & Emily’s- tail wags as soon as she gets to the door and she always leaves happy, tired, and played out when I come to pick her up.”

8. Young T.

“Young was great at taking care of Milo! Milo is anxious and Young is more than understanding and accommodating! ✨We will be booking with him again soon!”

9. Lisa B.

“Angel was so happy playing with your pup when I came to get her. She wanted to stay & play some more. You were correct that a team walk would make them grow closer, and it worked. Great day for all. I appreciate you, and happy that Angel was able to have fun playing with another dog after her attack a couple months ago. Thank you so much Lisa.”

10. Kristen C.
“Kristen cares for fur babies as if they were her own. She follows any directions you ask her to and shows them so much love and attention. She is one of the very few people I would trust with watching my pets.”

11. Aaron & Nicole F.

“Aaron was awesome, booked my pup for a daycare visit last minute, sent me updates with pictures through the day, and even took him on a nice walk.”

12. Jessica H.
“Jessica is such a kind and warm animal lover that treats her pets with the absolute best care. I trust her to take care of my dog as if he is her own pet and I know he is in good hands! I highly recommend Jessica's services.”

14. Mackenzie D.
“I hired Mackenzie for a week to take care of my two high-maintenance dogs. She did wonderful! Not only did she make sure my dogs were taken care of, she sent me updates as the week progressed. One of my dogs was on prescription meds and she ensured that my dog was properly taken care of.”

15. Lisa R.

“Lisa was patient and friendly. Pauli had a such a great time that he actually complained when we picked him up. Will recommend Lisa and will have Lisa help out with Pauli when we are in Reno again!”

16. Alexander & Wendy M.
“Alex is amazing, and my dogs absolutely adore him. He takes them on long hikes that leave them happily exhausted, then gives them endless cuddles and affection. Alex strikes the perfect balance between play time and relaxing. Stanley needs to sleep in the bed and Alex always lets him cuddle. I would let Alex watch Stanley and Daisy any time!!”

17. Jesse N.

“Thank you, Jessee for your flexibility. I appreciate the good care extended to Tumi. We will get in touch again for another day care service.”

18. Quart K.

“Quart took Noni at the very last minute, two days in a row, and was amazing with her. She took her for a long walk then swimming at the river. Quart even took the time to do some training with her because she pulls on her leash. There was great, clear, prompt communication with Quart. I have absolutely no complaints and I will definitely take Noni back to her!”

19. Samantha R.
“Samantha has cared for my rescue dog many times over the past 3+ years. My rescue has separation anxiety and Samantha’s care has helped him to be more calm. He always loves to see Samantha and has a great time in her care. I highly recommend Samantha for her friendliness, excellent care for my pet and professionalism (on time and flexibility). I trust her completely with my little rescue dog.”

20. Madelyn C.

“Timber doesn’t love or even like most people or other dogs. But it’s clear they hit it off from the very start. Thanks, Maddie. We look forward to brining her back.”
