“I don't think there are enough words to express how grateful I am for the care and support Young provided while watching my puppy. Saint is a large hunting breed - and a puppy - so he's full of energy and requires a ton of attention. Despite typically only watching smaller dogs, Young was kind enough to step in and help when I REALLY needed it (on move-in day... during a blizzard... on a Monday). That alone meant the world to me. Throughout the stay, he kept me updated with thoughtful messages and plenty of pictures - even if Saint made it nearly impossible to get a clear shot (darn puppy lol). Still, it was obvious that my dog was happy, safe, and well cared for. There's nothing more relieving than knowing that someone is putting genuine care into your loved one - especially for anxious moms like me! I really appreciate the empathy, flexibility, and patience shown - especially since not everyone would take on a situation like this. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares and goes the extra mile, I can't recommend Young enough. He even has a fun website where you can check in, view high-quality photos to download, and see all the cute pups who have been under his care. And if you're curious about his setup, he's got tons of yard space, an additional courtyard, SO MANY TOYS, and even more treats lol. This is clearly a huge passion of his, and it's comforting to know his heart is in the right place. Thank you again, Young!!”

About: I am an attorney in town looking to watch pups for fun on weekends and the occasional weekday. I’ve had dogs since I can remember and really can’t imagine life without them. I also have lots of experience caring for pups with medical needs as well. I have a very passive and friendly chocolate lab, Kona, who loves to play with others. I have a fenced yard in the Wells Avenue Neighborhood near a large park. Kona and I will take good care of your dog. Boarding would be in my home and include walks and park play. Allow me to ease the pressure on your next trip! *party hats occasionally included 🐶* Midday walks are my favorite paired with a pre-dinner park session! Early morning pickup or late drop off - whatever works best for your schedule. Fenced in yard with plenty of room for play time. Pets are free to be on the furniture as well. Meal time is always the best, but we’ll be sure to separate feeding locations to make the home as safe as possible.

3. Jessica H.
“Jessica is such a kind and warm animal lover that treats her pets with the absolute best care. I trust her to take care of my dog as if he is her own pet and I know he is in good hands! I highly recommend Jessica's services.”

4. Cameron & Amanda M.

“Our two pups are regulars and love Cameron and Amanda. I’ll be the first to say our female Weimaraner is high strung. Somehow Amanda worked her magic and our baby girl is calming down. I’m henceforth referring to Amanda as the Weimaraner whisperer.”

5. Quart K.

“Quart took Noni at the very last minute, two days in a row, and was amazing with her. She took her for a long walk then swimming at the river. Quart even took the time to do some training with her because she pulls on her leash. There was great, clear, prompt communication with Quart. I have absolutely no complaints and I will definitely take Noni back to her!”

6. Shawna M.

“Love to have my shihtzu Jilly stay with Shawna and her family. My little girl can get nervous and uncomfortable fast with strangers, but she never has a problem at Shawna's. Great sitter! Thanks, again, Shawna!”

7. Wanda S.

“Wanda is nothing short of fantastic! Nova had an absolute blast and played herself into sleep daily. She got to spend most of her day outside in the yard which she loves and had plenty of puppy friends around to keep busy. Wanda sent an abundance of photos and Nova was either pooped or smiling as big as possible in them. Being a dog sitter myself on Rover, I highly recommend Wanda for your pup’s getaway vaca.”

About: I have experience volunteering at several different humane societies, it feels extremely fulfilling and satisfying to me being around all the fur babies. I have owned and taken care of dozens of puppies/dogs throughout my life and have enjoyed every second of it. I have cared for 7 week old puppies to 15 year old dogs, big and small. Most recently, I was a long term foster for a senior dog and it was very rewarding. I've taken care of all my friends and family's dogs as well since I was 14 years old. I know how to bathe small dogs, trim their nails, read their body language, how to get their attention and how to play with them. I am also currently in school to get my degree in veterinary nursing. I believe that the life of an animal is no less precious than the life of a human being, therefore it's important that we love, respect and have patience for them. Right now I am a part time student but am typically available any days after 11am. Weekends I am free all day. Occasionally I do travel every other month but will let you know ahead of time. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet like a member of the family. In my home, I create a safe, cozy, and stimulating environment where they can relax, play, and feel completely at ease. From setting up comfy spots for naps to ensuring plenty of toys and enrichment activities, their happiness is my priority. In your home, I maintain their routine to provide comfort and familiarity—whether that’s sticking to their feeding schedule, taking them on their favorite walking routes, or giving them belly rubs in their favorite spot. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, secure, and cared for no matter where they are!

12. Nikoleta S.

“Nikki was amazing. I brought Murphy with me on a work trip to Reno and she remained flexible with my schedule while making sure I stayed up to date on how Murphy was doing throughout the day. Murphy would love to stay with her again.”

13. Lisa R.

“Lisa was patient and friendly. Pauli had a such a great time that he actually complained when we picked him up. Will recommend Lisa and will have Lisa help out with Pauli when we are in Reno again!”

14. Karly & Emily B.

16. Kellye G.

“Kellye was absolutely amazing! She was so great with our little one and gave us updates throughout the day with pictures and everything. It was so great knowing that our little guy was in such great hands and was really great and understanding when I was running late to pick him up. He came home and slept right away which tells me he had a great day playing and having fun! I got a great detailed overview of his stay which was very helpful. I highly recommend using Kellye for your next doggie needs. I will definietly be using her agan!”

19. Mackenzie D.

20. Lisa B.

“Lisa was so amazing! She kept my pup so well entertained. It took out all of his high energy, so he was super tuckered out like I was when I got him from work each night. She is super attentive to dogs needs and you can tell she loves them as much as you do!”
