Danika was able to do all of this and even texted us updates after each visit to let us know how things were going. About: I’m a small-breed dog mom to two friendly Shih Tzus. I’ve trained both of them from puppyhood, so I’m experienced in teaching calm behavior, basic obedience, and creating a well-structured environment for small dogs. I’m happy to reinforce good manners. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance, and we go there every other day for playtime and socializing. Leonard and Taylor are both gentle, well-behaved, and great companions for visiting pups. My home is calm, clean, and ideal for small-breed dogs who enjoy a safe and friendly environment. I’m available full time for boarding on weekends and holidays. On weekdays, my two Shih Tzus—Leonard (born April 2024) and Taylor (born March 2025)—stay home from about 10am to 6pm. They are used to a calm routine and do very well together. If your dog is comfortable being without a human for part of the day, weekday boarding can also work. I live in a house with a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance. We go there every other day for playtime and sniff walks. Both Leonard and Taylor are friendly, gentle Shih Tzus who make great company for visiting small dogs. My home is clean, safe, and perfect for small breeds. I also have both small and medium crates available if you prefer your dog crated.

About: I got my first dog in second grade, and have always had a kinship with dogs and animals of all types. I have taken k-9 basic obedience courses and have over a years worth of training and rehabilitating displaced dogs; some even with aggressive behaviors. Over that year I gained my certification in dog handling. I have lived on a farm the last 8 years and have worked and cared for; livestock guardian dogs, herding breeds and many other types of animals. About: I grew up learning how to train and manage dogs in the home, I’ve cared for animals my whole life and trained multiple dogs. I currently care for many pets in my own home including reptiles, invertebrates, fish, and a dog. I also love caring for plants. I am a very respectful and non judgement person. I wake up usually around 10 am but am comfortable waking up earlier if needed. I have my own dog and usually walk her when I wake up, again mid day, and once again before I leave for my optional night job. I also have tank lights and water dishes I check morning and night. I could do stop in care during Friday-Sunday and more full time care Monday-Thursday. If your pet loves to play I am more than happy to keep them entertained, I also have a medium dog compression sweater that I can supply if you have a dog that has anxiety. I understand most pet body language and can know when your pet needs comfort, play, potty, or space.
