About: Hi, we’re Cody and Emily of Reno-Tahoe Paw Retreat! We’re licensed, insured, and trained in pet first aid and CPR. We follow Washoe County commercial animal welfare permit guidelines, including sanitation programs, a veterinary care program, and a disease control health care program. Your pets are in safe, caring hands with us. Living with our own Australian Shepherd means pet care is already woven into everything we do. Your dog will enjoy a natural mix of scheduled walks and feeding times, plus plenty of spontaneous play sessions, cuddle breaks, and backyard adventures in between. You can rest easy knowing there’s always someone attentive nearby. We’re also proud to have a pet friendly Australian Shepherd of our own, so your dog will have a built in buddy to play with! Our Aussie is well socialized and loves making new friends, making the transition to our home stress free and fun for visiting dogs. From the moment your pup arrives to the moment you’re reunited, their safety, happiness, and comfort are our top priority. 🐾

About: I have a Norweign Elkhound. We go on walks and hikes around the park. I have experience watching small and medium dogs. I am not working right now so I can walk your dog without my dog anytime I will bring baby in a baby carrier I don’t mind going on several walks a day and giving pets love and attention. I can walk your dog as many times as you like With my baby and my Norwegian elkhound but my dog is friendly and if it's boarding just the baby. I can separate the dogs if you like

About: I have been caring for pets my entire life, but only for 18 years professionally. I have worked as a dog trainer, dog groomer, a veterinary assistant and a boarding clinic employee. Currently, I teach Puppy classes, Obedience 101, and Rally at the Truckee Meadows Dog Training Club, I am an emergency foster for bottle puppies/kittens for the Humane Society, and I am home almost all the time. I have many years of experience with dogs, cats, and livestock animals. I am also capable of caring for birds, fish, and reptiles. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats who are so very loved and spoiled. I let my own dogs out every 2-4 hours and take them on 2 walks a day while its cooler outside. I do training routine practices with them at least once a day because they are active in classes at the local dog club. I can care for dogs at your home or they are welcome to come to mine! At this time, I am flexible with what works best for you.

About: I’ve been caring for animals from house sitting to dog walking since my teenage years, and it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Neighbors, family friends, and family have trusted me to provide exceptional care for their furry companions. My deep love for animals led me to volunteer at the UCD Vet Center during high school, where I assisted veterinarians in hands on care. Later, I dedicated time to shelters like the Davis SPCA and the Pacific Palisades SPCA in Los Angeles, working with rescue animals and learning how to nurture even the most vulnerable pets. Over the years, I’ve rescued and rehabilitated numerous animals, many of whom became cherished members of my family. It’s been an incredible journey watching them thrive, whether it’s a senior dog finding comfort or a shy kitten finally coming out of their shell. I’ve seen firsthand how natural remedies, proper nutrition, and mindful interaction can transform an animal’s quality of life. About: I've had dogs my entire life. Right now, I share my home with my own corgi, who is fine with other dogs. I walked dogs in college, and now I am a PhD student with multiple days when I work from home. I am a PhD student and work from home several days a week, so I will be available for play time and outdoor breaks. I already have a routine with my dog where I take her out every two to three hours, but I will be available to let your pet out more often if needed. I live in a house with a small fenced yard and a nearby park for walks. I have my own dog to keep yours company.
