She was incredibly responsive and her home is perfectly set up for dogs - I loved seeing the protective sheets on the sofa, a dedicated water station, and a secure yard for roaming. ​She kept us updated with photo and messages while we were skiing, which we really appreciated. Oreo came home happy and even smelled great! It’s clear she takes excellent care of her guest dogs. We will definitely be booking with her again when we’re back in Reno!”

About: Hi, we’re Cody and Emily of Reno-Tahoe Paw Retreat! We’re licensed, insured, and trained in pet first aid and CPR. We follow Washoe County commercial animal welfare permit guidelines, including sanitation programs, a veterinary care program, and a disease control health care program. Your pets are in safe, caring hands with us. Living with our own Australian Shepherd means pet care is already woven into everything we do. Your dog will enjoy a natural mix of scheduled walks and feeding times, plus plenty of spontaneous play sessions, cuddle breaks, and backyard adventures in between. With one of us always nearby, we’re able to respond to whatever your pup needs, whenever they need it! no waiting, no rushing. It’s just part of our normal day. 🐾 When it comes to your dog’s safety and comfort, we’ve got it covered. Our large, fully fenced backyard gives your pup plenty of room to run, explore, and burn off energy, all in a secure environment where you never have to worry about them wandering off. Inside, your dog will have a spacious home to relax in, and with my wife or I here almost around the clock, they’re never left alone or unsupervised. You can rest easy knowing there’s always someone attentive nearby. We’re also proud to have a pet friendly Australian Shepherd of our own, so your dog will have a built in buddy to play with! Our Aussie is well socialized and loves making new friends, making the transition to our home stress free and fun for visiting dogs. From the moment your pup arrives to the moment you’re reunited, their safety, happiness, and comfort are our top priority. 🐾

About: I have a Norweign Elkhound. We go on walks and hikes around the park. I have experience watching small and medium dogs. I am not working right now so I can walk your dog without my dog anytime I will bring baby in a baby carrier I don’t mind going on several walks a day and giving pets love and attention. I can walk your dog as many times as you like With my baby and my Norwegian elkhound but my dog is friendly and if it's boarding just the baby. I can separate the dogs if you like

About: I’m a small-breed dog mom to two friendly Shih Tzus. I’ve trained both of them from puppyhood, so I’m experienced in teaching calm behavior, basic obedience, and creating a well-structured environment for small dogs. I’m happy to reinforce good manners. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance, and we go there every other day for playtime and socializing. Leonard and Taylor are both gentle, well-behaved, and great companions for visiting pups. My home is calm, clean, and ideal for small-breed dogs who enjoy a safe and friendly environment. I’m available full time for boarding on weekends and holidays. On weekdays, my two Shih Tzus—Leonard (born April 2024) and Taylor (born March 2025)—stay home from about 10am to 6pm. They are used to a calm routine and do very well together. If your dog is comfortable being without a human for part of the day, weekday boarding can also work. I live in a house with a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance. We go there every other day for playtime and sniff walks. Both Leonard and Taylor are friendly, gentle Shih Tzus who make great company for visiting small dogs. My home is clean, safe, and perfect for small breeds. I also have both small and medium crates available if you prefer your dog crated.
