“Ron's care of our two senior dogs was wonderful. Ron sent us daily updates to include photos which made our vacation better knowing they were in great care. One of our pups had a minor medical condition that Ron was attentive to, and we could tell her care was his priority. We actually felt bad picking up our pups knowing that they were going to miss their time with Ron. We highly recommend leaving your pups with Ron!”

“Laura is wonderful! She is warm and kind, and our dog had an amazing time with her and Tucker. She kept in contact and sent us pictures and updates while we were away which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be using her again. Thank you so much, Laura! We think the world of you!”

“April and Rachel did an amazing job. Kayla was super happy, well cared for and definitely enjoyed her stay. She felt safe and that was very important to us. Will definitely be booking with them again. They are very kind, understanding and very accommodating. They treated kayla like their own.”

“Brittany was absolutely amazing! Our regular sitter was not available so I happened upon Brittany and I have officially found a new dog sitter for our boy. She was so wonderful. She would constantly keep in contact and send photos. He was not eating so she was trying all new things in his food and instead of his food to get him to eat which was so sweet and wonderful of her. She would give him baths which I did not ask for but was so appreciated. I could tell that she absolutely loved him as we do. Simply outstanding and highly recommended. Definitely going to go back and have Teddy stay with Brittany again!”

“Megan was very responsive and took good care of Willow. She kept us posted on Willow’s whereabouts and sent us pictures. It’s reassuring to know our baby is in good hands. I would highly recommend Megan to take care of your pets when you are away. Thanks Megan!!”

“We were in a bind having to find a sitter last minute before a long overseas trip. Our pup is shy and prefers a home environment. We are so grateful to have found and be a part of Young’s passion project! His updates gave us confidence and insight into her care and how she was adapting. Definitely going to use his services again and again! Bay gives it 5/5 kisses 😘”

“From the first moment I made communication with Chelsea through Rover I knew she would be great. I recommend if you want a great experience with Rover. Chelsea is the way to go for a CARING & RELIABLE dog sitter. We explained all of the needs for our senior dog and she provided all the care. My wife and I loved her positive energy and great communication during the whole experience. We will always use Chelsea in the future for our Reno dog sitter. We rate her 5 stars!”

“We love Kris! So far we’ve had her watch our two pups twice and they absolutely love her. The pups have separation anxiety and do not like most strangers, but took to Kris right away! We are already planning our next trip and will definitely be using Kris again! ❤️”

“My Cherry is super shy and has some special requirements and Sarah was so accommodating! She treated her as part of the family. Also, she is very quick to respond to all messages :). I definitely recommend having your pup stay with Sarah and will be repeat customer!”

“Maria was awesome with our Duke. This was our first experience using the Rover app and we were very pleased with the service. Maria was very caring and attentive with Duke and had great communication throughout his entire stay.”

“My older beagle stayed here for a full week. There were other small dogs there, which was fun for her I think! The house was clearly set up for dog sitting, with a doggy door into the yard, a gated area near the kitchen, and double handles on the front door so nobody sneaks out 😊 I didn't feel worried at all during Bella's time there, and she came home happy and rested!”

“Oh my gosh! Susan’s home was the BEST for my two puppies. They were so well loved, and came home stress free. My first choice whenever I need a sitter for the pups! Thank you, Susan, for giving them a second home while we were away!”

“This was the second time Kelly sitting my dog Cookie. From the daily pictures Kelly sent to me, I saw Cookie enjoyed a lot during the stay. I'm very grateful to have Kelly. Thank you.”

“Crystal took great care of our very anxious pup. The multiple pictures and videos help put his anxious owners at ease. He loved playing with their Aussie, Leila, which helped him adapt quickly. Highly recommend:)”

“Gina was very communicative with me and always made sure to send updates and photos. She was very easy to work with and really took the time to understand my dog’s needs. She is an excellent dog sitter and I highly recommend her!”

“Kathryn was absolutely wonderful. The dogs loved being with her at her home, which was set up beautifully for dogs. They both came home very happy and it just makes our time away so relaxing knowing that our little loves are in the hands of someone as loving and caring as Kathryn. We couldn't be happier with the experience.”

“Aaron and Nicole were great. Our pup was comfortable with them right away. They have a warm, dog-safe environment and the whole family seems to really care for the dogs. Will definitely book with them again.”

“Sherina was absolutely amazing caring for my little scaredy cat! She was gentle and patient with her to the point that my kitty made major strides in just even coming out from under the bed while I was gone. She also went above and beyond, for example noticing I'd forgotten some over-ripe bananas and offering to cut them up and put them in the freezer for me. What a gem! Thank you, Sherina!!”

“Monica was a wonderful help while I was away. My usually very timid and anxious cat warmed up to her immediately. She made sure he got all his medicine daily, played with him and went above and beyond to clean some cat throw up off my carpet one day. Highly recommend.”

“Michael was amazing caring for Chloe and also being respectful of the space. He spent time with Chloe and played, provided food and loads of love. I would definitely get his care again for Chloe.”

“Danika was an absolute life-saver when our cat ended up going to the emergency vet just a few days before my family and I were going on vacation for a whole week after. As he recovered from his vet visit, he required constant care which involved multiple check-ins a day, monitoring how often he drank water, ate his food, and used the litter box. He also needed to be given 3 different medications on different time schedules, 2 of which required being administered with a syringe in his mouth. Danika was able to do all of this and even texted us updates after each visit to let us know how things were going. Her availability on such short notice along with her attention to detail and genuine love and care for our cat gave us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy our vacation without feeling worried the entire time. I would gladly book her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone else needing someone to look after their kitties. Huge props to Danika!”

“Catherine did a fantastic job with my cats during their drop-in visits. They were well-fed, cared for, and I loved getting the updates and photos. It gave me total peace of mind while I was away.”

“We love Natalie’s thorough updates and tons of pictures. Our very shy cat even was walking around at Natalie’s visit this time, which shows she’s becoming comfortable around Natalie. Thank you!”
“Krista was a great drop in pet sitter for our two kitties while we were away on an international trip. She gave daily updates & sent pics which were very much appreciated. Unfortunately, our booking had some severe weather complications & some dates had to be modified. She was very accommodating & we look forward to booking with her again in the future.”

“Janet is the absolute best. She sends me pictures of my cat and sends very sweet messages about them every day! She has take. Care of him twice now and I will book her as soon as I can for my next trip!”

About: I’ve had the pleasure of providing reliable, loving pet care for over 15 years. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me — it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. From daily walks and feeding routines to overnight stays and special care for senior pets, I treat every animal as if they were my own. Pet owners can feel confident knowing their pets are safe, happy, and receiving plenty of attention while they’re away. My long-term clients appreciate my dependability, communication, and the calm, caring environment I provide for their furry family members. I’m currently working part time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays vary, but generally after 2pm I have a fenced backyard with plenty of grass, one very friendly dog to keep yours company, and two dog kennels to crate if needed.
“Cameron and Amanda are top notch. They went above and beyond and accepted my pup as he is. He was happy to return to their home each morning. Thank you for being so supportive of Otto.”

“Young did a great job making me and my dog Finn feel comfortable in new surroundings. Lots of communication throughout the day with photos and videos showing how Finn was doing. Young really cares about his clients and goes out of his way to make sure everyone is comfortable. It was a great experience and we will be using Young again for day care and boarding.”
About: I’m a small-breed dog mom to two friendly Shih Tzus. I’ve trained both of them from puppyhood, so I’m experienced in teaching calm behavior, basic obedience, and creating a well-structured environment for small dogs. I’m happy to reinforce good manners. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance, and we go there every other day for playtime and socializing. Leonard and Taylor are both gentle, well-behaved, and great companions for visiting pups. My home is calm, clean, and ideal for small-breed dogs who enjoy a safe and friendly environment. I’m available full time for boarding on weekends and holidays. On weekdays, my two Shih Tzus—Leonard (born April 2024) and Taylor (born March 2025)—stay home from about 10am to 6pm. They are used to a calm routine and do very well together. If your dog is comfortable being without a human for part of the day, weekday boarding can also work. I live in a house with a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance. We go there every other day for playtime and sniff walks. Both Leonard and Taylor are friendly, gentle Shih Tzus who make great company for visiting small dogs. My home is clean, safe, and perfect for small breeds. I also have both small and medium crates available if you prefer your dog crated.

About: Hi I’m Jackie and I am a retired vet tech and dog trainer. I offer unique experiences for pets and pet parents. While my pricing may be higher than other sitters this is because of my years of experience as a vet tech, animal behavior, and dog training which makes me uniquely able to provide the most safe experiences for your dog. During our meet and greet I will assess your pup and needs. From there I will build a customized rate for your fur families needs. Customization varies on training needed (reactivity and fear aggression will be a higher price) , hiking add ons, house cleaning needs, and any other non standard add ons. Below are two of my more popular offerings. That I offer in your home or in mine! For full transparency these two offerings I do bring my dog to these stays to help your pup have socialization and learn how to play and interact respectfully. If you are wondering if the services below are right for your fur family ask yourself: Does my pup pull and weave around on leash? Do I ask commands multiple times and sometimes they work? Does my dog bolt out of doors when they know they are going for a walk? Do they jump all over people when they come in the house? Do they follow you everywhere or are constantly under foot? Does your puppy play bite? Do you avoid taking them to different situations because they are stressed or pulling you around? Is your dog nervous or fearful of dogs and or people? If you said yes to any of these programs could be for you! Puppy Pre School: Available for 1 week or longer stays. Your puppy will build a foundation in basic commands, place, potty training if needed, and crate training if wanted. Puppies that are fully vaccinated will gain socialization with my very sweet pup and learn respectful play and greetings with other dogs. Throughout the day they will have dedicated training sessions, daily updates and videos for you to see their progress! It is important for puppies to also build confidence in all environments, they will have scheduled time going through sensory activities that are really fun for your pup! When my stay is complete, you will have weekly homework and three follow up sessions to ensure your pup is on the right track as well as me being available to answer questions. Puppy Finishing School: For 1 week stay or longer. This service is perfect for any fully vaccinated dog that has some understanding of basic commands, but they are not reliable. During this training they will learn sit, down, heal, place, front, come, and your preferred release command. They will work these basic skills and then apply them to real world scenarios where they will be taken out for different activities to practice them in different environments. My goal is to help your dog build confidence and focus so that your pup can go anywhere with you! Your dog will enjoy daily walks, hikes, and outtings to ensure they build confidence in themselves as they problem solve and explore the world as well as burn off any extra energy they may have. Meeting your dogs energy requirements is a foundation of the program. If you are interested in setting up a consultation please feel free to reach out with a little about your pup (age-breed-how long you have had them) and your biggest concerns. Together we will get your pup on track! This is all I do! If your dog is in training, boarding, or I am staying with them you can expect they are my main priority. Your dog will not be left unattended with mine or on their own for more than 2-4 hours as I offer training sessions with other pet parents throughout the day. Your dog will get plenty of love, exercise and enrichment activities during the day so that they are mentally and physically stimulated. I do like to be upfront that I take my dog on my stays. She is very well trained, sweet, and submissive. She often helps dogs that I work with that are fearful or shy being more confident interacting with other dogs! Care will depend on the service you have selected. For Puppy Pre School and Puppy Finishing School please message me and I can send you the brochure. For strictly dog boarding or in home stays: Expect at the start of my stay with my dog this is how I always do first interactions with others dogs to ensure calm introductions. They will the. Have a walk every 4 hours unless you have selected a hiking add on ( AM-Afternoon-PM) for puppies this will be more frequent. They will also get time to play throughout the day with me and my pup or if they love fetch we will do that!
“Nikki was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Enero and Angelina! From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. While we were away, she kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It wasn't just that she was doing her job—it was obvious from the way she interacted with them that she truly cared about their happiness, comfort, and well-being. Both dogs looked relaxed, happy, and well-loved in every update. Nikki went above and beyond to make sure they were cared for, and we could tell they enjoyed their time with her. We highly recommend Nikki to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive pet sitter. We would gladly have her watch Enero and Angelina again!”

About: I'm quite loving around animals and I will treat them like my own. I have watched over a neighbor's dogs in my neighborhood a few times though out the years and her dogs love me. I will play with them and give them a ton of attention. I will do extra work like, if you would like for me to rake leaves or water plants, I will. I'm available for most of the week and I am flexible. I am very patient and kind and I will make sure your dog(s) have a lot of exercise and fun with me. I am willing to watch over any breed big or small, but I am a little uncomfortabe with pits. I love playing with puppies and get along with them just fine.
About: What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I provide. I keep a calm, clean home and limit the number of pets I board at one time so each pet gets plenty of individual attention. I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine, providing a low-stress environment, and keeping you updated with daily photos and check-ins. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — not just watched. Because I work from home full time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship while you’re away. Plenty of outside time and cuddle time! When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I maintain a clean, calm environment and limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each animal receives plenty of attention. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bedtime. Because I work from home full time, pets are rarely left alone and receive consistent supervision and companionship. I also provide daily photo updates and check-ins for peace of mind. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining consistency and comfort. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding routines, walks, medications if needed, and any household preferences. I’m respectful of your home and ensure your pet feels safe and relaxed while keeping you updated with photos and detailed check-ins after each visit.
About: My sister relied on me to house sit and watch her dogs for a couple of weeks every summer when I was in middle and high school. I grew up with dogs and was responsible for taking them on walks, feeding them, brushing them, bathing them, and playing with them. I am between jobs so I am quite flexible right now. I am looking to get a full-time position at which point I will update my schedule here. My cats are feral rescues so I cannot afford to bring any other animals into my home, but I am very cautious while going on walks to be very aware of other dogs (especially off leash), people driving too fast in residential areas, and making sure to bring adequate water for walks on warm days.
“Chantelle came and met our dogs before the walking them. Not only was she personable and interested in the dog's care, but she was super punctual with her walks. I appreciate the nice updates daily and the pictures. I'd highly recommend her.”

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and have experience with breeds both big and small! I have experience with older dogs who need diaper changes and medications, as well as energetic puppies and kittens! Currently have two kittens of my own💓 I currently work M-F and am flexible throughout the week and on weekends for visits! With my schedule, I’m available in morning, afternoons, and evenings. Evenings and weekends are great for longer visits! I understand that not all pets warm up quickly to people in their home, so I offer a calm presence that is ready to feed, play, or just keep them company while their people are away!
About: I’ve had the privilege to be around all sorts of animals since I was 2, all from Terriers to German Shepherds, cats, and different birds as well. I grew up with all sizes so I’m used to big dogs and small dogs. I’ve also raised two puppies of my own in the past 6 years and have also been around many older fur babies as well. I’m currently working full time for the summer, usually from 3p-11:30p and will be going to school again in the fall, but I’d still love to care for your fur babies as long as we can workout a schedule that benefits both of us! My number one priority is to always make sure your pets are as comfortable as needed since it can be stressful enough for their humans to be gone. Whether it is lounging on the couch with them, taking them outside, or simply playing with toys with them I like to make sure to keep their routine as similar as they have with you.
About: Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm a Reno local, lifelong dog lover, caretaker, and proud dog mom to a 10-year-old Mini Dachshund and a 4-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd. Over the past 10+ years, I've cared for dogs for friends, family, and referrals from people who trusted me with their pets. Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, a neighborhood walk, or an energetic adventure, I treat every dog as if they were my own. People often tell me that dogs gravitate toward my calm, steady presence. At the same time, I love being playful, engaging, and making sure dogs have fun. You'll often find me taking dogs on long neighborhood walks, exploring local trails, or relaxing on the couch for some quality cuddle time after a good outing. I believe every dog learns best through positive experiences and small wins. Whether your dog is shy, anxious, reactive, energetic, young, or senior, I focus on building trust, creating a positive environment, and helping them feel safe and confident. A little about me: I work remotely as a Relationship Coach and Transaction Support Coordinator, which gives me flexibility during the day and allows me to provide dependable care and attention. I'm available during business hours as well as weekends, making it easy to fit walks and drop-in visits into your dog's routine. Joining Rover is a natural fit because it combines two things I genuinely enjoy: caring for others and getting outside for more walks. Caretaking has always been important to me. I spent years working as a nanny, and I bring that same level of responsibility, patience, and attentiveness to every animal I care for. I'm comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, administering medication, and adapting to your dog's unique needs and routine. After each walk or visit, I'll send photos, videos, and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, communicative, and genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs, I'd love to meet you and your furry family member! I work remotely and part-time. Pet care is the perfect compliment to my flexible work schedule. I sit at the computer for most of the day and would love nothing more than an excuse to get more steps in. I'm a firm believer that your dog, your rules. Every dog has their own routine, boundaries, and needs, and I take those seriously. Whether that's sticking to a feeding schedule, reinforcing training, administering medication, or accommodating behavioral or health concerns, I'll follow your instructions carefully. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable and keep their routine as consistent as possible while you're away.
About: I grew up with a husky dog throughout my entire childhood and I am now a proud cat owner. Huskies can be particularly difficult dogs to walk, and I have been walking them for as long as I can remember. My parents considered our dog as a part of the family and always provided an abundance of love and activity. I have taken the same approach with my cats and I love every moment. I have had my older cat, Iris, for 5 years and I rescued a kitten, Aster, almost 2 months ago. My connection with the pets in my life drives my love for all of the pets that I provide care to. I love puppies and kittens, antics and all. I enjoy walking, hiking, and playing with dogs. Being a cat owner, I have a wonderful time hanging out with cats. Whether they love to play, just want pets, or even take a while to warm up to people, I’m here for it. I am most available Sunday-Thursday. Friday and Saturday can work for specific situations. Sunday: all day Monday: before 5 pm Tuesday: all day Wednesday: before 5 pm Thursday: all day Friday: before 2 pm Saturday: available for house sitting for the right situation. Send me a message and we can discuss if it’s a good fit. I absolute LOVE to play and will be good company for a dog. I am mindful, and will be sure to give them lots of potty breaks. I am also an out doors person so walks are no problem! I approach every cat slowly and allow them to make the first move. Once we break the ice, I love engaging in play with interactive toys or providing pets based off of what the cat wants.

I have A dog park right next to my apartment and one friendly dog to keep your pup company. I can easily crate your dog if needed and will follow any routines you provide. We have lots of dog toys and go on lots of walks everyday! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have sat for SO MANY families outside of this app over the years and will send you lots of photos of your pup if you want them!
About: I live local to the area, and my schedule is extremely flexible to fit your needs. I understand that no two animals are the same and I take that very seriously when caring for them. I am currently working during the weekdays, but I am available during the day to take them out on walks/bathroom breaks and I am free evenings/weekends. I currently live in an apartment. Unless the dog is on the smaller side, I would prefer at home visits instead of taking the animals to my place.

“Sydney was an excellent pet sitter. She was very professional, organized and communicative throughout the 5 days she watched and walked my dog and cat. Sydney sent me information and pictures for each dog walk, keeping me up to date on my dog's sore paw and really gave me peace of mind knowing that a very caring responsible person was coming over twice a day to attend to my pets needs. I have been very impressed with Sydney and recommend her highly.”

“Kayana is fantastic! Flexible scheduling and works to make sure my dog gets the exercise she needs while I’m away. Highly professional and works well with animals of excitable temperament. 10/10”

“This was first time leaving my dog with Wendy and Dave and we had a great experience. They were so kind and loving with my baby while I was away. He had a great time and we would definitely use Wendy again. I highly recommend!”

“Sadie is an incredible dog sitter. She has cared for our dog for 10 days while we were abroad. It was his first time to stay with someone outside of his family. I was very nervous upfront how he would do with the situation, but he was so happy at her house and she kept him busy with walks as well. I would ask her anytime in the future should we need a dog sitter for stay overs or dog walking again. I highly recommend her and I am very grateful. She is reliable, has a wonderful approach to her work, and is just very kind,m and helpful even on short notice changes. Sadie goes above and beyond for the dogs and their owners.”

“Dani was very kind to us and our older pup. She took him last minute and treated him like a king! He slept in her bed and was allowed on the furniture. She has a big backyard that he loved. He came home exactly how we left him - calm and happy. We will absolutely be working with Dani again. 🐾♥️”

“Lisa did a wonderful job making Sawyer feel like she was at another family member’s house. This is a much better experience she would ever get from a general boarding facility. The July 4th pic is one of the best pictures we have of Sawyer- THANK YOU Lisa, we will look for you again when we take our next trip.”

“Five stars isn't enough!! My fur baby was so loved and cared for while I was gone, and I had no worries at all being out of state - the photos I got told me all I needed to know about how happy Lola was and what a good time she was having with Karly and Emily. This was my first experience with Rover.com and won't be my last. Lola isn't used to being boarded; when we've traveled in the past, she went with us in the RV. I didn't want her to be stuck in a kennel somewhere, and the home environment the girls provided was absolutely marvelous! I'm over the moon pleased with the whole experience!!!”
