“If you are looking for your Dream Dogsitter, you have found her in Rachel!!! Rachel watched our three doggies, whom we had never gone anywhere without. She took such amazing, around-the-clock care of our fur babies! I had nothing but total peace while my beloved doggies were in Rachel's care, THAT is priceless!!! My husband and I were able to fully enjoy our trip! She administered muliple medications perfectly for our senior boy, he regularly spits meds out. Rachel is just so phenominal as a dogsitter! She snuggled and loved ones our dogs like we do while we were away! She sent and posted so many wonderful, endearing, hilarious photos of our babies at least twice a day! There were changes and added duties like putting Snout Soother on our little princess and Rachel not only rose to the occasion and perfect fulfilled last minute requests for our doggies and even brought in packages from our porch! She kept our babies so calm and relaxed! Rachel is so flexible, kind, ethical, integrous and professional, she is truly extraordinary! I wish I could give her 10 out 5 stars! Thank you Rachel, you exceeded all of hopes and expectations in the perfect care of our precious fur babies! Thank you, hardly seems adequate!!! About: I’ve taken care of many types of dogs for the last 10 years. I had 2 French mastiffs and 3 French bulldogs but recently lost 2 of them to old age. I am very well versed in caring for senior dogs (my frenchie passed when he was almost 15 and my French mastiff passed when he was 10). I love taking my dogs on walks, camping, river trips when they love to splash around! I currently work full time for Meals on Wheels but am fortunate enough to have a hybrid schedule. I work into the early afternoons. My weekends are generally free to devote time to caring for your pets and your home. I’m also available to take your fur babies on walks in the afternoon/early evenings. I would prefer caring for your pups in your house, where I feel they are most comfortable. I am very trustworthy and clean and will treat your home with the utmost respect.

About: I’m a first-year student at the University of Nevada, Reno. I am originally from Las Vegas, NV but came here to pursue and study my future career in Veterinary Medicine. I’ve always had a big love for animals which is why I chose this career path. I have two dogs of my own and have plenty of experience feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for them. I enjoy learning each animals unique personality and routine. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and will always treat your pets with the same love and care that I give my own. My goal is to make sure both you and your pets feel comfortable and safe while they’re in my care. I’m currently a full-time student at the University of Nevada, Reno. My classes end fairly early, with my latest class ending at 12:50 p.m. on Wednesdays, so I’m generally available in the afternoons and evenings. On weekends, I prefer mornings when possible, but I’m flexible and happy to work together to find a schedule that works well for both of us and your pets needs. I have two dogs of my own, so caring for pets is a big part of my everyday life. I make sure they’re fed, have fresh water, get plenty of playtime, attention, and exercise, and most importantly feel loved and comfortable. I’ll follow any instructions you provide and care for your pets with the same patience and attention I give my own.

About: I have owned and trained dogs of all ages. I currently have a 5 yr old purebred yellow lab who is a service dog. I have experience with behavior challenges and dogs with medical needs. I am dedicated and committed to caring for your pet as an extension of you. Our dog is with us almost 20+ hours a day so close to around the clock companionship and oversight will be provided. I have a fenced yard as well as a doggie door. Your fur baby will have everything he/she needs to be happy and loved. Consider it a doggy vacation resort.

About: I own a car and clean record with driver's license so I can transport dogs to and from parks, or wherever the job takes me. My communication skills are seasoned with both humans and dogs. I do not shy away from reaching out to owners if there is an issue. I believe every dog deserves a pleasant time while their owners are away. This is my commitment to you. I’m opposed to all forms of bigotry and prejudice, and I treat everyone with equal fairness. Thanks for reaching out for a meet and greet; if you choose to do so there will be no pressure to accept the booking. Generally I am up and I am able to start at 6:30am daily. I can generally keep your pet until later into the evening and overnight. Before our first sit, we can do an introduction to establish your pet's comfort zone. Are they high energy? That's good! I like showing pets affection, especially if they're anxious. They can often really use a run, walk, or visit to the dog park, and getting outside is something I enjoy doing with dogs. As a sitter, I see and interpret subtle body language cues that mean "I need space" vs. "I want a quick head scratch". A typical day under my care is predictable, peaceful, and entirely low stress: Feeding, water refreshes, and calm, low-energy relief walks. I speak in a soft voice. I cohabitate quietly. If your pet chooses to sleep under my desk or across the room, I let them be. If they approach for attention, I offer gentle, calm affection. I send one or two brief text updates a day to confirm all is well. While I practice a "light touch" approach, I am highly vigilant. I will reach out if they stop drinking water or eating when they should be, taking issues like this very seriously. Signs of physical distress (pacing, heavy panting, whining, or lethargy). Changes in bathroom habits. Your pet's health is my number one priority. My place will be ready for your loved one: I pet-proof my home room-by-room, anticipating jumping, digging, scratching, chewing, or trash-rummaging, while inspecting my space from a pet's eye level. I maintain eyes on, supervise all toy playtime to prevent swallowing broken pieces. I use a gate to block access to stairs, allowing them to come upstairs when I am going upstairs.
