Safety, trust & environment
I make sure to take the utmost care when I'm watching anyone's pets. There are a couple of opportunities in which I am able to care for pets at my own home. It has a fenced backyard with a dog door big enough to fit most large dogs. But even if I'm not watching them in my place, I have been a sitter for people with apartments where I take them outside to use the bathroom and even go on walks. I know that every pet is unique and has unique needs, and I try to do what is best for each one.

Information Sherina D. would like to know about your pet
What I would typically need to know is listed below: Does your pet have any medications? If so, how often are they administered? How often do you take your dog or cat on a walk? Does your pet have any unique or special dietary needs? Are they allowed on the bed or furniture? Do you have a specific schedule for your pet? Are there any special or unique behaviors you want me to keep an out for? Is there anything you are currently trying to train your pet to do or deter your pet from? Are they good with other dogs?
A typical day
I normally try to go on a 30-minute walk every day (as long as it is not too dark, cold, or rainy/snowy), and it would be quite easy to add your lovely dog or cat to that routine. If your dog or cat loves to fetch or be petted I'm more than happy to oblige. I grew up playing tug of war and wrestling with my dogs as a kid and I'm more than willing to do the same with yours.

Pet care experience
I have been caring for pets since I was a child. My mother relied on me to take care of all of our dogs, cats, gerbils, and birds. I have also taken care of several different kinds of pets since then including a Savanahha Monitor, snakes, cats, dogs, and even horses for a brief time. I have worked with and taken care of animals all my life. I was a veterinarian assistant for 3 years after getting my Bachelor's in Animal Science.

Reviews

Always comfortable leaving Smudge with Sherina.
This is our second booking with Sherina and she had our boys for a week. She gets to dub them her velcro puppies because they love her so much that they want to be with her wherever she goes. It is a gift to know that our dogs are so well taken care of and so comfortable with her that we don't have to worry when we are gone. Thank you, Sherina!

Sherina is very informative and attentive to your pet's needs, 10/10 I would recommend her

Sherina was amazing!! I was so nervous about leaving my dogs while I was on vacation but she did an awesome job with them. They got tons of exercise and outside time. The house was clean and well kept when I returned, and my girls were happy and healthy when I got back.
