“Kinan goes above and beyond as both a sitter and dog walker. He takes exceptional care of my German Shepherd, Zara, and it’s clear how much he genuinely loves animals. As a house sitter, he’s the best I’ve ever had—he left my home spotless, was so respectful of our space, and spent so much quality time with my girl while I was away. I can’t recommend him enough—10/10!”

“Natalie was awesome! She was available on a Friday when I got a last minute busisness trip. She came and house sat and watched our young puppy and kept him happy all day. Thanks so much Natalie!”

“Ivonne and her family are the BEST! My little dog was sad when he saw my suitcases and I thought he might be even sick, but Ivonne and her family made him feel better and happy immediately, and they made me feel the same! They spoiled my sweet dog and even spoiled me by leaving my house cleaner than it’s ever been! They are truly caring, loving gems and I am so grateful!”

About: I have owned dogs my whole life, and friends and family call on me to watch over their furry friends. I believe every animal has a story that deserves to be heard. I'm here to listen while you can't! I am new to the Reno area so my schedule is totally open for the time being! I ride horses around 3 times a week but can easily move that around to fit your schedule. For my own dogs, I make sure they are walked at least once a day and have plenty of mental stimulation. I will always meet your care standards and follow your rules for your pet. I am also experienced in crating large dogs!
“Sammy (Morganne) was a fantastic sitter for my pup. She has good experience with animals and cares for them like they are her own. She stayed for a week at my home on short notice and did a great job with my crazy, hyper puppy! Will definitely use her again.”

“Krista was wonderful. I had a last minute pet sitter cancelation and Krista was able to step in. We are so grateful to her. She took great care of Lana and our home. Highly recommend!”

“Danika was available lastly minute and I couldn’t be happier. She did an amazing job caring for our pups. She was thorough and caring, gave lots of cuddles, walks, and provided pics. She was great to communicate with and I felt at ease knowing she was there.”

“Mason was so great with my pups. My older chihuahua was being rude and Mason handled him with so much grace. So happy for all the updates and for all of the communication. Second time booking and for sure the best sitter ive had in a long time.”

“WOW. I sure hope I can get the pups out and about like Angie did, now that we've returned home. 😅 The Dogs look healthy, happy, and the pictures of daily outings is cool! Highly recommend Angie. Have referred her to others in need of excellent pet service. Angie is observant, professional and caring. ThnQ so much!”

About: You will feel safe knowing that your pet will be happy and taken care for so you can actually pay attention to what needs to be taken care of while you are away. I have had many dogs growing up and have watched family friends’ dogs for years now. From puppies to senior dogs, I have taken care of all of them. I am starting my masters of social work online which allows me to take care of your pets and still work on school. Starting in September I start my internship which is 13 hours a week which leaves me plenty of time to give your pets the time and energy they deserve. I always make sure water bowls are full, dogs are taken outside regularly (or change out the litter box for cats when seen fit) and food is administered per owners request. I make sure I pay attention to owners wants and needs to their pets and want to make sure your pet doesn’t fall out of regular scheduling while you are gone.
“We were apprehensive to leave our pets in the care of someone new, but Tom absolutely went above and beyond to lovingly care for our animals and give us peace of mind while we were on our trip! He very much understands the value of keeping pets' in their daily routine and doing things just as their owners would. He did everything we asked him to, including daily walks, small animal cage cleanings, giving of medicine, sending daily updates/pics, and giving lots of love and attention! Having a trusted pet-sitter while you're away is crucial and we will DEFINITELY be using Tom again and recommend him to others.”

“Antoinette is responsible, attentive, and friendly! For my first booking with her, she watched my cat for five nights. She set up an in-person meeting beforehand and paid careful attention to his food and play preferences. She also sent photos updates with each meal, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. She even brought in a package for me without having to ask. I’d happily book her again!”

About: I'm a dog lover who's been caring for dogs since I was 10. My first boxer was with me from when she was a puppy, and I handled everything—walks, feeding, playtime, baths, and even taking care of her paws when she got cuts. We later adopted another boxer, and I gave her the same love and attention, including medical care when needed. I really enjoy taking dogs for walks and making sure they’re happy and well-cared for. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, I’d love to help. I work full-time, but during my spare time, I would love to care for your dog. I’m available on weekdays after 6 PM, and I have flexible availability on weekends. I'll take care of your pet in your home, following your instructions to make sure they're comfortable. I’ll keep things clean, respect your space, and keep you updated.
“Allison was so great! She communicated often; sent updates and pictures and videos. She checked in with anything she was 100% sure on which I really appreciated. We will definitely use her again.”

“Five stars and more for Bob! We were very fortunate to have Bob house-sit for us over a long weekend, and recommend him highly to everyone. Our particular and slightly eccentric little cattle dog absolutely adored him! He went above and beyond spending time with her and making sure she was a happy pup. She almost never fully warms up to sitters, but Bob became best friends with her immediately. High praise! He frequently updated us with how everything was going and sent great photos. We didn't worry once! We returned home to a very happy dog and a sparkling clean home. Thank you very much!”

South Reno pet parents share their Rover experiences
I can’t say enough good things about Alex and Greg. They took such good care of my senior dog and even lifted his spirits by giving him playdates with their own pup. My flight was delayed overnight and they rearranged their schedule so they could care for my dog until I could get home. They helped out with taking care of house deliveries and were just overall so lovely. They are the gold standard for pet sitting and overall caring humans :)

Andrew is awesome. We have a nice yard with a creek in the back so it’s a wildlife highway and we can’t ever have our dogs in our yard by themselves. Because we have so many wild visitors, we have cameras placed in several places so we know if a bear or bobcat or coyote have entered. The only triggers on our cameras while away were Andrew and our dogs (like every hour from 7am to 10pm!) He prioritized taking our dogs outside and gave them plenty of time to enjoy the warm days we had while we traveled! He also gave updates daily, giving us such peace of mind while we were overseas. We came home to happy, healthy pups and a clean home. I highly recommend, however please don’t book him while we need to travel because we will definitely be hiring him again!! 🐾🧡

Brooke did an absolutely amazing job with my fur babies! I told her I was nervous about leaving my pets with a new person and she did absolutely everything to calm my nerves including a long meet & greet and tons of photos and updates. My shy dog warmed up to her almost instantly and by the end of the first night she had all three of my pets cuddled up with her. 1000/10 would recommend to anyone!!!

We met Tracie through Rover and did a meet and greet before she stayed at our house for a week with our two dogs and our daughter’s dog. At the meet and greet, the dogs instantly felt at ease with Tracie. During her stay, she did a wonderful job dealing with three unique dog personalities. She is a great communicator and sent regular pictures and updates while we were away. It was such an amazing feeling to be able to relax on vacation and know that our pets were in such great hands. We will request booking with Tracie again and have told our friends about her excellence and professionalism.

When my dogs first met Ivonne, I immediately knew I had chosen the right person—they both took to her right away. She kept me informed throughout the entire time, which gave me great peace of mind. When I returned home, my dogs were happy and well cared for, and my house was just as clean as when I left it. I will absolutely have her watch them again.
First time using this sitter, and we couldn’t be happier. We came home to our boxers safe and completely unfazed. He stayed in our home, and everything was in great shape when we returned. Our sitter is clearly experienced with energetic and rambunctious dogs, which is exactly what we needed. We already have another trip booked for next month. Highly recommend!

Samantha was wonderful and Lou clearly loved spending time with her. She was perfectly calm when we came home, and while she was happy to see us come home she was also sad that Samantha had to leave lol Samantha had great communication throughout the stay and a calm, gentle presence. We felt completely at ease knowing Lou was in such great hands and would happily book with her again! Thanks Samantha! :)

Terah did a fantastic job watching our critters for the weekend! We returned home to a happy dog and perfectly clean home. Our picky little cattle dog mix immediately felt at ease with her, even getting her toys out (high praise from a sensitive dog)! Terah was super at communication, and we would highly recommend her to anyone!

Kinan sat our cattle dog mix for 24 hours and will be coming back for a four-day sit in a few weeks. Our dog is highly anxious and untrusting of new people. Kinan was patient with him and wasn’t deterred by his barking and nipping. He understood the difference between anxiety and aggression. This is an important skill that we haven’t found in other pet sitters.

Amelia was a top notch pet sitter for our three kitties! My husband and I felt comfortable with her right away when she came over to meet everyone. Our cats also warmed up to Amelia very quickly! It was amazing to receive pictures and text updates every day of our cats, which set our minds at ease that our beloved furry children were in great hands. We will definitely be hiring Amelia again! Thank you, Amelia! 🙏😻
