Availability
I am currently working full time at a doctor’s clinic, so that impacts my schedule. However, I am available on the weekends, and able to get off early on Fridays. Mon-Thursday I get off of work around 4:15 pm most days, I will be keeping my calendar as updated as possible and am happy to discuss my work schedule with you as well. I would prefer at least a day in advance for dog sitting. However, if you need someone in a pinch then shoot me a message! For my other services I fine with last minute bookings. Life happens and I’m always happy to help if I can!

I aim to be mindful and respectful of your space and the pets space always. Keeping them happy and comfy while in my care and leaving the home tidy after service. I like to follow your pets everyday routine as much as possible! Trying to keep things within their norm while you’re away helps to ease any anxiety they or even you may have. I do take other bookings throughout the day, so I schedule everything accordingly.
Information Emely R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog(s)/cat(s) have a specific way they like to meet new people before any meet n great or the first service. I have met animals who need people to approach them in specifics ways and even with the owner around for a couple visits just to ensure they like me and don’t see me as a stranger. Even if it’s something you feel may be silly, I would like to know anyway. Cause understanding your pets behavior allows me to be prepared and know the appropriate next steps to take to ensure we establish a good bond. Please let me know if your dog(s)/cat(s) have any special mobility or dietary needs. This includes allergies, specific meal prep, specific brand of food and treats, medications, supplements, diapers, if they aren’t spayed/neutered, any other medical diagnoses(arthritis, disease, conditions). I’ve seen and have had experience with many different diets and conditions, so even if it’s something I’m not familiar with I will do the homework necessary to ensure good quality of care.
A typical day
I have had a wide range of dogs with very different energy levels. If your dog is more on the mellow or slower side(usually due to age) then I try to get them active for at least 5-10 mins. Whatever gets them stimulated but doesn’t hurt from excessive use of energy. Then I’ll cuddle with them, give them pets and some treats. If your dog is on the higher energy level, then I typically try to go for a 30 min or longer. To let them sniff their surroundings(stimulating their brain) and tire them out a bit. Then once we’re back home I’ll do all the classic dog games of fetch, tug, and maybe practice some tricks. They will also get lots of cuddles, pets, and some treats. Other activities include dog parks, practicing commands, and even just taking them to dutch bros to get a well deserved pup cup. I usually do these during sittings or longer bookings.

Pet care experience
I have both personal and professional experience when it comes to animal care. I have been taking care of animals since I was 5 years old, from personal dogs and cats to the pets of family, friends, and patients(I used to work for a vet hospital at my university) I have experience with puppy training and senior dog care. I have been relied on to walk, feed, bathe, and clean up after dogs and cats alike. If you have any other pets that reside in your residence, I am comfortable around them too. If you need someone ASAP, then I could be your girl.

Reviews

Emely was amazing with my dogs. She kept me updated the whole time and made sure they were always safe and comfortable. She even helped take care of a situation in the yard and kept a close eye on them outside, which I really appreciated. The house was clean when I got home and she even ran the dishwasher for me. My dogs clearly loved her and looked so relaxed in every photo she sent. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. I would definitely book her again.

Emely did a great job as usual. She was very attentive and played with my dogs and cared for them as if they were her own. Her communication was on point and sent me lots of photos. I felt very at ease and I would absolutely have her watch my fur babies again in the future. Highly recommend!

Great job as always, dogs were taken care of, and very happy when I returned home!

Thanks for checking on my babies. Glad you got them both outside ok. I know their stubborn…
