As he recovered from his vet visit, he required constant care which involved multiple check-ins a day, monitoring how often he drank water, ate his food, and used the litter box. He also needed to be given 3 different medications on different time schedules, 2 of which required being administered with a syringe in his mouth. Danika was able to do all of this and even texted us updates after each visit to let us know how things were going. Her availability on such short notice along with her attention to detail and genuine love and care for our cat gave us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy our vacation without feeling worried the entire time. About: I am a caretaker! I'm closing my 36 year home based childcare. I LOVE the big puppies. My boy was 140lbs. passed 10/2024. I can be your puppy Grandma! (All dogs are puppies at heart) I have worked from home for over 36 years and plan to keep at home! I am moving from children to dogs. Spending every Summer on my Grandparents farm was heaven, lots of work, done with so much respect for the hours and lifestyle. I moved back to Hidden Valley to care for my parents and raise my kids. They are all gone and I am looking for a new direction, while tending my garden and remodeling. I have never been without a dog (dogs). My children are all in different States so, giving and getting my dog love fix vis sitting is the direction I'm heading as opposed to owning for now! I have always loved my pets more than any couch, so, furniture will be all access. How I will care for your pet will be up to you! 1/2 Acre fully fenced, 110 tree's, small grass area, DG to dig in. 24 years here and all of my dogs (passed) loved it. I have had 36 years of open communication with child parents and I will do the same for puppy parents. We should be cohesive and symbiotic. I left dry food out for my dogs, however, your dog your rules! Hidden Valley dog park is less than a mile from my home. My Livestock Guardian dog did not like the dog park so if yours does not I am totally ok going or not going! The Virginia Range is behind me and easily accessible for short hikes.

About: I’m a small-breed dog mom to two friendly Shih Tzus. I’ve trained both of them from puppyhood, so I’m experienced in teaching calm behavior, basic obedience, and creating a well-structured environment for small dogs. I’m happy to reinforce good manners. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance, and we go there every other day for playtime and socializing. Leonard and Taylor are both gentle, well-behaved, and great companions for visiting pups. My home is calm, clean, and ideal for small-breed dogs who enjoy a safe and friendly environment. I’m available full time for boarding on weekends and holidays. On weekdays, my two Shih Tzus—Leonard (born April 2024) and Taylor (born March 2025)—stay home from about 10am to 6pm. They are used to a calm routine and do very well together. If your dog is comfortable being without a human for part of the day, weekday boarding can also work. I live in a house with a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance. We go there every other day for playtime and sniff walks. Both Leonard and Taylor are friendly, gentle Shih Tzus who make great company for visiting small dogs. My home is clean, safe, and perfect for small breeds. I also have both small and medium crates available if you prefer your dog crated.

About: I have cared for animals since I was 15. From senior dogs who require pills or injections to puppies. Our pack ranges from 2-5 dogs at a time as dogs truly find us (and we can’t say no!). We also have 2-3 cats at any time. Often times, animals are better than most humans. During the school year, I work for the school district and I would love to show my daughter what a good work ethic looks like. I grew up with all sizes so I’m used to big dogs and small dogs. I’ve also raised two puppies of my own in the past 6 years and have also been around many older fur babies as well. I currently working full time Monday-Friday 8a-5p but I’d still love to care for your fur babies as long as we can workout a schedule that benefits both of us! My number one priority is to always make sure your pets are as comfortable as needed since it can be stressful enough for their humans to be gone. Whether it is lounging on the couch with them, taking them outside, or simply playing with toys with them I like to make sure to keep their routine as similar as they have with you.
About: I got my first dog in second grade, and have always had a kinship with dogs and animals of all types. I have taken k-9 basic obedience courses and have over a years worth of training and rehabilitating displaced dogs; some even with aggressive behaviors. Over that year I gained my certification in dog handling. I have lived on a farm the last 8 years and have worked and cared for; livestock guardian dogs, herding breeds and many other types of animals. I am now back in school, and recently lost my furry best after 10.5 long wonderful years together, I am generally first on my friends list to help with dog sitting and help with their furry family members. Pretty flexible! Let me know what you need and I'm sure something can be worked out. I work on my own schedule and usually can be open to changes with a little notice. My experience with training and rehabilitation has shown me great safety practices, and reading environments and potential dangers. I can't bring animals to my home because of family health issues there. But I am considerate and respectful of others and their homes.
About: Worked closely with dogs and cats in a general practice veterinary clinic, developing a strong understanding of animal behavior, body language, and overall welfare. Gained experience recognizing signs of good health as well as changes in behavior or condition that may indicate illness or stress. Prioritized providing calm, compassionate care while ensuring each animal's safety and comfort, building confidence in handling pets with a variety of personalities and needs. I work full-time from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On those days, I'm available for check-ins or potty breaks before 7am or after 5:30pm, resulting in 8+ hours. On Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, I have a much more flexible schedule and can provide drop-in visits, potty breaks, walks, or playtime every couple of hours as needed. I'm committed to making sure each pet receives reliable care, attention, and plenty of love while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I take extra care to prevent escapes by being mindful around doors, gates, and leashes, and I always pay close attention to each pet's body language to help them feel comfortable and reduce fear or stress. I understand that every animal has a different personality, and I'm happy to work at their pace to build trust. For everyone's safety, I do not offer boarding in my home or bring my own pets to client homes, as I have a reactive dog and cats of my own. This allows me to give your pet my full attention in the environment where they are most comfortable.

I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable providing extra care, medication, mobility assistance, and lots of love and companionship. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to make sure each one feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m currently available and have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to dedicate plenty of time to caring for dogs and can accommodate different schedules and routines. With my years of experience caring for dogs—including senior and disabled dogs—I’m dependable, patient, and committed to providing them with the attention and care they need. My own dogs are walked every day and are very loved and spoiled. They are both seniors, so I’m experienced with providing them the extra attention, patience, and care that older dogs need. I make sure they’re comfortable, well cared for, and tended to according to their individual needs. I have a large house with a fenced in yard.
