About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for the past 10 years! Growing up, my grandma had a sheep farm and that was my day care. I’ve been around animals my whole life and volunteered at many shelters and Navajo reservation vaccination trips. I have two dogs, one I found on the Navajo trip and the other was given to me by my aunt once her hips gave out. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.

Kristen sent lots of pictures and updates, which put us at ease during our dog’s first trip. Kristen is very warm, friendly, and extremely caring. Probably why our dog enjoyed his stay with her.”

“Kilo had the best vacation stay with April & Rachel (Aliyah & Honey too). He was so happy and came home exhausted!! He needed a day of RnR from his stay. Now for my personal review. Now that I have met April & Rachel, I would not take Kilo any place else to watch our boy. I felt so comfortable after our meet & greet with the living arrangements and with the humans watching over him. I knew he would be treated like a king and in good safe hands. I didn’t have to worry about him the whole time I was gone. April & Rachel sent us photos/videos of Kilo so that I could see first hand how he was doing. He was getting the love and attention (even more than when he is at home) and this made us very happy. It’s nice to know he’s in great hands when we are away. April & Rachel will be my first call for my next trip and I would recommend them for your pups too. 🐶 🐾”

“You can tell Maria truly cares about the pets in her care and goes the extra mile to provide the best experience for each of them. She asked questions I wouldn’t have thought to tell her to ensure our dog was happy and safe, including a description of the other pets that would be present during his stay. She also welcomed a meetup beforehand to make sure our dog was compatible with her own pets, and showed me her house and yard, which gave me peace of mind. During his stay, she provided daily walks and enrichment, and sent awesome daily updates with photos. Our dog is normally very nervous being away from us, but actually seemed disappointed to leave Maria’s house when we picked him up!”

“Ivy took great care of our Maltese during our family trip in Reno. Her location is very convenient for those visiting the area, especially if staying at the Nugget or the GSR.
