“Danika was an absolute life-saver when our cat ended up going to the emergency vet just a few days before my family and I were going on vacation for a whole week after. As he recovered from his vet visit, he required constant care which involved multiple check-ins a day, monitoring how often he drank water, ate his food, and used the litter box. He also needed to be given 3 different medications on different time schedules, 2 of which required being administered with a syringe in his mouth. Danika was able to do all of this and even texted us updates after each visit to let us know how things were going. Her availability on such short notice along with her attention to detail and genuine love and care for our cat gave us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy our vacation without feeling worried the entire time. About: I have a Norweign Elkhound. We go on walks and hikes around the park. I have experience watching small and medium dogs. I am not working right now so I can walk your dog without my dog anytime I will bring baby in a baby carrier I don’t mind going on several walks a day and giving pets love and attention. I can walk your dog as many times as you like With my baby and my Norwegian elkhound but my dog is friendly and if it's boarding just the baby. I can separate the dogs if you like

I own a car and clean record with drivers license so I can transport dogs to and from parks, or wherever the job takes me. My communication skills are seasoned with both humans and dogs. I like showing pets affection, especially if they're anxious. They can often really use a run, walk, or visit to the dog park, and getting outside is something I enjoy doing with dogs. As a sitter, I see and interpret subtle body language cues that mean "I need space" vs. "I want a quick head scratch". A typical day under my care is predictable, peaceful, and entirely low stress: Feeding, water refreshes, and calm, low-energy relief walks. I speak in a soft voice. I cohabitate quietly. If your pet chooses to sleep under my desk or across the room, I let them be. If they approach for attention, I offer gentle, calm affection. I send one or two brief text updates a day to confirm all is well. While I practice a "light touch" approach, I am highly vigilant. I will reach out if they stop drinking water or eating when they should be, taking issues like this very seriously. Signs of physical distress (pacing, heavy panting, whining, or lethargy). Changes in bathroom habits. Your pet's health is my number one priority. My place will be ready for your loved one: I pet-proof my home room-by-room, anticipating jumping, digging, scratching, chewing, or trash-rummaging, while inspecting my space from a pet's eye level. I maintain eyes on, supervise all toy playtime to prevent swallowing broken pieces. I use a gate to block access to stairs, allowing them to come upstairs when I am going upstairs.

About: I have owned dogs all of my life and have cared for and taught them all the basic pet commands. I have also worked at a doggy daycare for multiple months and have been a pet parent favorite Canine Coach I’m currently a college student that has class Monday through Friday mostly in the morning with evening classes on Friday. I am available all weekends for home/pet sitting. I am able to do overnight stays on weekends as long as I can go to class in the morning. In my own home I have a Dalmatian where I take him out hourly with 2 walks and if my schedule permits a car ride to the dog park. I always check my dogs water bowls and feed him two times a day with proper spacing of eating and exercise to ensure no bloating or stomach issues. I have also taught him to use the correct restroom spot in the backyard
About: I grew up learning how to train and manage dogs in the home, I’ve cared for animals my whole life and trained multiple dogs. About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.

We record the activities we do throughout the day and have entertainment, such as toys, ropes, and treats on hand at all times. We tailor each visit to your dog's needs and have experience administering medication if needed. We strive to ensure your dog is feeling happy and loved throughout our time together. We can stay with your pets in the comfort of their own home or take them with us on an adventure! It’ll be our own version of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (more like Furries Bueller’s Day Off… too much?) You’ll receive nice photos and videos through the service and a summary of our escapade at the end of each visit! We ask that each of our clients leave us feedback at the end of our visits to not only help us improve as a business owners, but to also show prospective clients why we’re the highest rated pet sitters in the area! “Shannon and David were a delight to work with; prompt with availability, clear and responsive in communication, and so full of care and attention when watching Willa. For this past trip, I (the primary owner) was out of service and needed to connect Shannon and David with my partner. They were willing to accommodate this secondary contact. They also went above and beyond in picking Willa up from her previous sitter. All of the communication leading up to the trip made me feel like Willa would be in conscientious care and that proved true. Willa was excited to see me when I picked her up, but she also seemed at home and at ease. I highly recommend Shannon and David!”
