“I’m so pleased I connected with Khine. I have two large dogs, one is high energy boy & one that’s less ambitious, as she has a few more years on her. When we met with Khine, both my dogs liked her and were almost immediately comfortable with her. She is reliable, punctual and is confident handling my dogs. (Handling 2 large dogs is not a small task) I also really appreciate the updates and photos she sends me after each visit. I believe Khine genuinely cares about my dogs and I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

About: i've taken care of dogs, cats all my life. Their wellbeing is important to me. Their needs will be top priority. Let me know if there is anything specific that they need. I also am a dog walker and will make sure that they have the exercise and potty breaks that they need. Pet care is a dedicated part of my weekly routine. I structure my schedule around walks and drop-in visits, which allows me to be reliable, flexible, and responsive to pet parents’ needs. I plan my day to ensure pets receive consistent care and attention, including mornings, mid-day, and evenings as needed. I primarily care for pets in their own home, where they are most comfortable. I follow all written instructions closely, including feeding, medications, leash preferences, and home routines. I prioritize safety at all times — secure doors and gates, proper leash handling, and careful observation during visits and walks. I provide updates through Rover and communicate promptly if I notice anything out of the ordinary. I only communicate and book through Rover for safety and accountability.
About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.
“Kathryn has been reliable and trustworthy with walking my 2 doggies. I really have piece of mind knowing the dogs are going to get great care and a great walk while I'm at work!”

“Cyndi and her daughter Carson helped me out when I needed a walker for my dog Ollie for the week at the last minute. They were communicative and reliable. I will definitely be contacting them next time I need a dog walker for Ollie and highly recommend them to others.”

“We are so happy to have met Neesa, she’s always available and promptly helps us with our pets, long walks, follows all directions and goes above and beyond by bringing boxes and trash bins in.”

About: I've had animals my whole life but started professionally working with them about 5 years ago. My own animals are special needs, so I know what it's like to need someone to care for them. I love animals and hope to get to know yours! I'm available on Saturday, Sunday, Monday afternoon/evening and the evening on Friday! Other days I work full time at an animal clinic and go to school, so weekends are what I can do for you! I am very good at reading animal behavior and knowing how to get dogs and cats to trust (or at least tolerate) me. I also am familiar with a lot of different medicines and how important it is to administer them carefully, as I had a pet with chronic illnesses and work with them daily. I want to use my knowledge from working at the clinic to help you and your pets.
About: I am the friend who's always called to watch over their pets! I am excited to make sure your fur babies are happy, healthy, and watched over as if my own! I am currently available all days of the week including weekends for 7am-9pm services. I am happy to help inside/outside or wherever I am needed. I will follow house rules to a T and always ensure reciprocal, productive communication with pet parents. If any concerns arise, I am always willing to call and speak directly to you.
About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up in a family that always had multiple dogs, I've been around pets my entire life and understand the attention, patience, and care they need to feel happy and comfortable. I regularly care for my parents' dogs whenever they travel, and I've also helped friends by providing dependable pet care while they're away. In addition, I currently live with two cats, so I'm experienced with feline care as well. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm and caring companion, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family and will provide regular updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in good hands! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive and reliable care for your pets. I work part-time and manage my other projects independently, which means I can often adjust my schedule to meet your pet's needs. Whether your furry friend needs walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, or extra attention throughout the day, I have the availability to make sure they receive the care they deserve. My goal is to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. One of my favorite parts of pet care is getting to know each animal's unique personality. Every pet is different, and I enjoy learning what makes them happy, whether that's playing with their favorite toy, going for walks, exploring outside, receiving extra cuddles, or simply having a calm companion nearby. I take the time to build trust with each pet and tailor my care to their individual needs, preferences, and energy level so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away.

About: I grew up on a farm in Iowa. I’ve been around animals my whole life and they are what I think is the best part of life! I also worked in a veterinary hospital for over 10 years. I can’t wait to bring years of compassion and care experience to your pets. Weekends are my best availability. I work full time and can visit in the weekend when needed for drop in visits and or walks as needed. I feel most comfortable doing home visits, walks, and frequent potty breaks. I’d be happy to give your pets exercise on the weekend when you’re unavailable/gone.
About: My sister relied on me to house sit and watch her dogs for a couple of weeks every summer when I was in middle and high school. I grew up with dogs and was responsible for taking them on walks, feeding them, brushing them, bathing them, and playing with them. I am between jobs so I am quite flexible right now. I am looking to get a full-time position at which point I will update my schedule here. My cats are feral rescues so I cannot afford to bring any other animals into my home, but I am very cautious while going on walks to be very aware of other dogs (especially off leash), people driving too fast in residential areas, and making sure to bring adequate water for walks on warm days.
About: I grew up my whole life with dogs. Nothing is better then receiving their love when you walk through the door. My home even has it's own dog bathroom, dog run & house which is heated and cooled. I'm a volunteer at Nevada Humane Society. Dogs are the best!!! I'm retired but would like to get outdoors more and nothing better then walking/running a furry buddy next to me. I do have a few PRIVATE customers before I became a Rover emp. So I do try and keep my calendar up to date. I have a fenced yard, dog wash bathroom in my home which leads to a dog run and dog house heated and cooled. I have a nice big backyard that can get your dog tired out!
Old Northwest-West University dog parents share their Rover experiences
Incredible sitter who’s both reliable and consistent. She always spent extra time to make sure my puppy was well taken care of. Communication was great throughout, and I always felt comfortable having her in my home and trusting her with my puppy who I care about a lot.

Jessica is an awesome dog walker! She helped walk and feed my pup while I was at work. She sends the cutest pictures and gives a lovely summary of how the walk went. I am grateful for Jessica for being dependable and giving my pup oodles of love and attention! Thank you!

Bryana has been walking Mose consistently for about two weeks. She takes him on long walks up in some bill by my apartment. She is consistent, communicative, and reliable. She also has a high energy dog of her own so she understands Mose. I am very grateful to have her helping with my little man.

The whole process with Samantha has been positive. She was on time our initial meetup and was easy to talk to. She didnt seem phased by my dog's excited barking, which scares some people. On the day of the walk i got a notification and a photo, and Samantha responded promptly when I asked how everything went. She locked up when she left and everything was in order when I got home! I will definitely be booking her again. Thank you, Samantha:)

We previously said we would use Holly's services again. And we did! not disappointment. Holly is great, kind and loves to play with Lilly. Excellent communication and she always sends the right amount of pictures. She now is our go-to sitter in Reno, full confidence.
