I structure my schedule around walks and drop-in visits, which allows me to be reliable, flexible, and responsive to pet parents’ needs. I plan my day to ensure pets receive consistent care and attention, including mornings, mid-day, and evenings as needed. I primarily care for pets in their own home, where they are most comfortable. About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.

About: I've had animals my whole life but started professionally working with them about 5 years ago. My own animals are special needs, so I know what it's like to need someone to care for them. I love animals and hope to get to know yours! I'm available on Saturday, Sunday, Monday afternoon/evening and the evening on Friday! Other days I work full time at an animal clinic and go to school, so weekends are what I can do for you! I am very good at reading animal behavior and knowing how to get dogs and cats to trust (or at least tolerate) me. About: Hi there! I’m a 29 year old living in Reno for the past 10 years. I’m currently located in Northwest Reno area. I'm a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for all pets big or small! Since I was little I have been a trusted pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors. During college I worked at a boarding/training facility, volunteered at the Humane Society, and still love taking care of pets. About: I grew up on a farm in Iowa. I’ve been around animals my whole life and they are what I think is the best part of life! I also worked in a veterinary hospital for over 10 years. I can’t wait to bring years of compassion and care experience to your pets. Weekends are my best availability. About: My sister relied on me to house sit and watch her dogs for a couple of weeks every summer when I was in middle and high school. I grew up with dogs and was responsible for taking them on walks, feeding them, brushing them, bathing them, and playing with them. I am between jobs so I am quite flexible right now. I am looking to get a full-time position at which point I will update my schedule here. My cats are feral rescues so I cannot afford to bring any other animals into my home, but I am very cautious while going on walks to be very aware of other dogs (especially off leash), people driving too fast in residential areas, and making sure to bring adequate water for walks on warm days.

About: I grew up my whole life with dogs. Nothing is better then receiving their love when you walk through the door. My home even has it's own dog bathroom, dog run & house which is heated and cooled. I'm a volunteer at Nevada Humane Society. Dogs are the best!!! I'm retired but would like to get outdoors more and nothing better then walking/running a furry buddy next to me. I do have a few PRIVATE customers before I became a Rover emp. So I do try and keep my calendar up to date. I have a fenced yard, dog wash bathroom in my home which leads to a dog run and dog house heated and cooled.
