Laura can care for
Availability
I work with animals full-time. Part of my schedule is dedicated to housesitting, and part (1-6 hours per day) is dedicated to walking dogs and drop-in appointments. It's a perfect balance since I love to be active, whether that's letting little ones out in the middle of your workday, taking a pup for a good long walk, or feeding some hungry bellies. I have a weekly walk schedule with longterm clients I love. I also water gardens as needed. Since I do work outside the home part-time, I'm a good fit for dogs that are okay left alone up to 4 hours at a time.

I am not currently able to provide services out of my own home. I am more than happy to visit your home to care for your animals!
Information Laura O. would like to know about your pet
- What are your pet's command words? - How long have you had them? - How do your dogs handle meeting other dogs we might pass by on our walks? – Is there anything else that causes your dog(s) to be reactive on walks? - Do they have any history of trauma, any known triggers, or any behavioral issues you're working on?
A typical day
Walks will take place on quiet streets in your neighborhood unless you request otherwise! I am not always equipped to provide rides for dogs. But on long walks during the summer I often take dogs to a nearby trail with water for them to cool off in. If your dog consistently visits a dog park, we can discuss me taking them there to supervise a play session.

Sweet & Playful Animal Lover
Pet care experience
Growing up with large, energetic dogs, I've always loved animals. I was a volunteer dog walker at the local animal shelter during my college years, and I began pet sitting as a side job during grad school. I’ve been walking dogs and housesitting as my full-time job for five years now. I've cared for dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, peacocks, parakeets, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters and hedgehogs. I'm not a trainer, but I'm attentive and upbeat, so most animals respond to my positive reinforcement, and shy or nervous pets come around quickly when I'm with them. I love giving animals my full attention and seeing what happens when I do. It's so fun to get to know their unique personalities and learn what they like and how they communicate. I love to be active and play on their terms as much as possible.
Reviews

This was Chase and I’s first experience with Rover, and Laura made it great! Laura was able to accommodate my schedule with short notice, took the time and care to bond with Chase during the meet and greet, and gave him lots of attention and love while I was away! Chase was extremely content when I got home, and the lack of stress from having to board him made us both happy. We already have our next drop-in scheduled with Laura!

Laura was great taking care of our grumpy kitty! Provided excellent updates and was super responsive.

Laura was great with our kitties. She made the extra effort to play with them, and she exhibited the patience required to win over our more aloof cat. She was prompt and reliable and good about sending photos. We’ll definitely hire her again.

Laura has pet/house sit for me several times. She always does a great job and my three dogs love her.
