As he recovered from his vet visit, he required constant care which involved multiple check-ins a day, monitoring how often he drank water, ate his food, and used the litter box. He also needed to be given 3 different medications on different time schedules, 2 of which required being administered with a syringe in his mouth. Danika was able to do all of this and even texted us updates after each visit to let us know how things were going. “This is the second time Sherina has taken care of my cat and garden, and her care and consideration is outstanding; both times, she has gone above and beyond the job description. I forgot it was trash day the day before I was coming home, and she noticed the neighbors had their cans outside. My recycling was completely full, and she was kind enough to take it out. This attention to detail extended to her care for my cat, who immediately recognized her as his new best friend. Sherina’s love for animals is evident beyond the pets entrusted in her care; my cat is a remorseless hunter, and she rescued a baby bunny from the backyard before the cat could catch it. The cat quickly forgave her with the distraction of his favorite treats. Sherina also has a green thumb; she kept my garden thriving during a heat wave, and sent me updates on the blooming flowers in addition to adorable cat in action pictures. She also noticed the nozzle attachment to my automatic drip system had a crack and was leaking. I ordered the replacement, and Sherina offered to switch out the broken one for the new one. I felt like it was a lot to ask since I hadn’t included horticultural engineering in the contract, but she said she would be happy to fix it. When I returned, the drip system was better than ever- no leak, low water bill, no wasted water and happy flowers. What’s more, Sherina was able to watch the house an extra day on short notice when my travel plans unexpectedly changed. If I could give her ten stars, I would! About: I have four dogs from 10 pounds to 150 pounds, and I’ve had dogs my whole life! I love taking care of animals so much that I wanted to be a vet when I was younger. I’m working part time and going to school so I should have plenty of time to play with your dogs or cats! I have two days off a week, as well! About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.

About: I grew up my whole life with dogs. Nothing is better then receiving their love when you walk through the door. My home even has it's own dog bathroom, dog run & house which is heated and cooled. I'm a volunteer at Nevada Humane Society. Dogs are the best!!! About: My sister relied on me to house sit and watch her dogs for a couple of weeks every summer when I was in middle and high school. I grew up with dogs and was responsible for taking them on walks, feeding them, brushing them, bathing them, and playing with them. I am between jobs so I am quite flexible right now. I am looking to get a full-time position at which point I will update my schedule here. My cats are feral rescues so I cannot afford to bring any other animals into my home, but I am very cautious while going on walks to be very aware of other dogs (especially off leash), people driving too fast in residential areas, and making sure to bring adequate water for walks on warm days.

A little about me: I work remotely as a Relationship Coach and Transaction Support Coordinator, which gives me flexibility during the day and allows me to provide dependable care and attention. I'm available during business hours as well as weekends, making it easy to fit walks and drop-in visits into your dog's routine. Joining Rover is a natural fit because it combines two things I genuinely enjoy: caring for others and getting outside for more walks. Caretaking has always been important to me. I spent years working as a nanny, and I bring that same level of responsibility, patience, and attentiveness to every animal I care for. I'm comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, administering medication, and adapting to your dog's unique needs and routine. After each walk or visit, I'll send photos, videos, and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for. About: I’ve had pets my entire life and each one has meant the world to me. I promise to give that same love and care to your pets! I work from home, so I am pretty available and flexible. I’m happy to do daily walks and open to a repeating schedule, or just a one time event! I am very easy going when house sitting. A detailed note is all I need, and you can expect to receive plenty of photos of your pet(s). I have two cats in my home that are used to having dogs around! We can discuss boarding in my home if needed.
