“Cindy did a fantastic job taking care of our elderly rabbit while we were away! We were incredibly fortunate to find her last-minute, and we knew our house and critter were in excellent hands while we were gone. We came home to a happy bunny! Thank you Cindy!!”

“Tammy was incredibly responsive and was very flexible navigating speaking with me, as I was out of the country and working with a major time difference. She gave thorough updates on our dogs and provided plenty of pictures. One of my dogs needed medicine on an as needed basis and she was great at keeping an eye out for when he needed his medicine. She was wonderful to work with and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“Martha did an incredible job with my dog Radar! She’s caring, reliable, and clearly great with animals. Radar loved spending time with her and came home calm and content. Highly recommend her for any of your pet care needs!”

“Edward is our angel and lifesaver for me and my mini Aussie, Koda. My little guy was recently diagnosed with diabetes and needed to start insulin shots. Koda is my sweet, gentle, loving baby but when I attempted to administer the injections, he turned into Cujo. After trying multiple techniques, and vet tech advice none of which worked, it was clear I needed someone to help. Not having anyone available, I searched on Rover and came across Edward’s profile. I appreciated that he updated his calendar daily and that he has training for animal first aid and had volunteered at the SPCA. I messaged Edward requesting drop in visits with the need of assistance with Koda’s injections. Edward immediately responded that he would be happy to do so. Male humans are not Koda’s favorites. Upon Edward’s first visit, Koda was completely enamored with him! He loves Edward and got so excited when he came by AND allowed him to give him his injection with no resistance. I think Edward is a true dog whisperer! Edward is excellent about communicating, he listens to whatever special habits your pet may have and truly cares about them. I highly recommend you contact Edward for your next pet care needs!”

“Ivy took care of my sweet bunny, Christmas week. She was very prompt and took great care. Awesome updates and pictures, I would absolutely use her for my pet care again.”

“Jennifer was wonderful! She helped me with a last minute request and immediately connected well with my dog and my cat during our meet and greet. She came when she said she would and took great care of both of them. She’s professional and warm.”

“Thank you so much Luna for your help and the pictures are so nice to see. I will definitely use your help next time.. You’re the best.. Yes, he was just probably needing a pee break only, this afternoon.”

“Miranda was absolutely amazing! She was timely, communicative, and went above and beyond during every visit. We loved that she sent pictures and updates for every drop-in, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. From the moment she met our dogs, we could tell she genuinely cared about them, and they adored her right back! We felt completely at ease knowing they were in great hands. We would highly recommend Miranda to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and loving sitter for their fur babies!”

“This was my first time using River pot even having a total stranger watch after my dog, other than boarding him. Mariana stayed in communication with me the whole time and took very good care of my dog. Would definitely use again.”

About: I've been the go-to call for dog sitting for all my friends and family for the last 10 years (since high school). I've done simple checkups/walks as well as lengthy multi-week stays taking care of as many as 4 dogs at a time. I am a full-time worker, but in a quiet time of business so I have fairly flexible hours. I am an early riser so I am available from 7-9am, I have flexibility at my job for a lengthy lunch around 11-1pm, and I'm available any time after 5pm during the week as well. I am also available on weekends for visits and boarding! I live in an apartment with a dog park in a great walking neighborhood, so while I can't keep your dogs in a yard, exercise is not a problem and my apartment is very pet friendly. I'm also very open and accommodating if your pet has any specific needs!
“Erica took excellent care of our 3 cats, even though only one of them is friendly enough to say hi to strangers. She is friendly, reliable, and communicated with me throughout the week, and I highly recommend her for any of your animal-friend needs!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for the past 6 years! Growing up, my grandma had a sheep farm and that was my day care. I’ve been around animals my whole life and volunteered at many shelters and Navajo reservation vaccination trips. I have two dogs, one I found on the Navajo trip and the other was given to me by my aunt once her hips gave out. I worked at the local truckee Tahoe pet lodge and learned a lot of about dog and cat care and needs. I’m a local, working at Northstar year round and love to help families with their animals ❤️🐾 I am a local, year round worker at Northstar but I have a lot of free time during shoulder seasons and after work! It is easy for me to add pet care into my daily schedule for check ins or walks as well as house sits. I am able to take care of all animals and willing to stay at the owners house if needed. I am able to give necessary care to all animals no matter the age, size or animal.
“Chase was punctual, professional, and my Bobby absolutely fell in love. Bobby got in his potty breaks, a couple of walks, and lots of snuggles. I would definitely utilize Chase again and we look forward to our next drop-in visits!”

“Jonathan was very professional and kind. Was nice to do a meet and greet before our trip. Took care of my old (blind) dog and I knew I didn’t have to worry about him.”

“Wendy really helped us out on very short notice. We were stuck out of town and I reached out on very short notice and she was able to stop by and feed and care for my kitties. Thank you Wendy!”

About: Hi! I've been a foster dog daddy for the last 3 years, taking in dogs who need a place between owners or before they find their permanent family. As I've just retired from a high pace career, l'd like to care for your furry friends, exercising them and getting exercise myself! I have a very flexible schedule so if you're looking for last minute care or just when you go away, please reach out. I’m currently retired and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for that last minute need or one time pet care whenever you need me to. Mobile with a car. I’m good with all types of dogs from the shy ones to the ones that get really excited by walking with somebody new. I can’t wait to meet your best friend.
