About: My childhood was surrounded by dogs. When I was 12, I had to completely take care of 4 pit bulls, a Dotson, a mixed breed medium sized dog, and 3 cats. I have watched a few friends and family's pets over the years. Before I moved here, I actually helped my cousin take care of his senior husky with low energy that needed shots for a medical condition and a 2 year old German shepherd with all the energy in the world. My foster mom also bred pugs for a living, and have had to help the momma pug give birth while my foster parents were gone. I also have a 4 year old female Black Mouth Cur named Ava, that I have had since 6 months old, and a 2 year old male pitbull terrier rescue named Bosco, that I have had for a year and counting. He is full of fear and needs a lot of patience to work through it, but after 5 months of touch and go work, he now knows what play is and has his own toys! He also is scared to eat or seems to not know what his feeding bowl is, but after different ways to show that feeding time is okay, he is slowly gaining the weight he should be at! Treats were his sweet spot for knowing it is a safe place, and my sweet Ava sped the process for getting him comfortable in his new home and now commandeers my clothing to sleep with in his bed. Due to Bosco being a rescue and has become very protective is why I can't offer in home sitting in my home but am open to dog sitting at client's homes. I am currently a new stay at home mom. I take care of my two boys and my two fur babies. I am more than ready to help others with their fur babies. Due to behavior of one of my dogs, I would not be able to comfortably care for your fur babies in my own home, but I will do the utmost care for your fur babies in your home! Give me all the rules you need followed; Outside during certain times, feeding strategies, don't sit in a certain spot or area in the home. Nothing is too much to handle! I have even taken care of dogs with potty issues and needed baths for their health care and hygiene of your home.

I'm comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes. From cats and dogs to exotics, birds, and pocket pets, I have either owned or worked with them all! Got an active dog that needs to get out of the house more? I love the outdoors and can't wait to go for a walk or hike with them! A tired dog is a happy dog. :) Got a senior or special needs pet who needs medication or more in depth care? I'm comfortable giving oral medications, injections, and subcutaneous fluids, so I'd love to meet them! :) I also have a small wagon that I use to take my special needs senior dog for walks, so if your buddy wants to get outside but maybe can't walk as far as they'd like, I'd be happy to give them a lift! Willing and able to accept short notice bookings! I'm also flexible and more than happy to schedule early morning or late evening walks to accommodate your schedule and keep your dog cool during the summer heat. With over 13 years of experience in veterinary medicine, your pet's health and safety will always be my number one priority. I am comfortable working with reactive and/or aggressive animals and feel all personalities deserve the best care possible no matter what. I am also physically fit (and stronger than I look) and have no issue walking most large and energetic dogs. :)
