Now that I have met April & Rachel, I would not take Kilo any place else to watch our boy. I felt so comfortable after our meet & greet with the living arrangements and with the humans watching over him. I knew he would be treated like a king and in good safe hands. I didn’t have to worry about him the whole time I was gone. April & Rachel sent us photos/videos of Kilo so that I could see first hand how he was doing. He was getting the love and attention (even more than when he is at home) and this made us very happy. It’s nice to know he’s in great hands when we are away. For this past trip, I (the primary owner) was out of service and needed to connect Shannon and David with my partner. They were willing to accommodate this secondary contact. All of the communication leading up to the trip made me feel like Willa would be in conscientious care and that proved true. About: Grew up having a dog (or 2 at times…as well as bunnies…and some other reptiles!). I currently live in an accommodation where I am not able to have a pet and I have become to miss animals more and more! There is no such thing as a bad animal, only a poorly trained one, and I treat them all with love and care. I’m available every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday all day (and night)! For housesitting, I'm available to stay at your house to work (Wi-Fi permitting!) so that I can provide mid-day potty breaks and attention for your pet. Dog walking: I like to encourage polite walking behaviors through positive reinforcement (praise, treats!) - this will create a safe and fun walk for both of us. Please just let me know if your dog shouldn't have treats or requires a certain type of treats. I'm always willing to adjust activities based on your dog's abilities and weather. For example, if the weather turns too hot or cold for your pup, I can swap out a lengthy walk for a shorter one plus enrichment games in the shade or some indoor playtime. **NEW! Dog jogging: Do you have a high-energy dog who needs more than a regular walk? I may be able to offer dog jogging for some dogs, as an add-on for a small additional fee. Book a walk with me and I can evaluate if your dog is a good fit. Drop-in visits and house-sitting: Your pet's safety and happiness are my priority. About: I have a lot of experience with animal sitting, dog walking etc. Growing up my family has always had at least 3 dogs, I have had many cats in my lifetime as well. I have a flexible work schedule. I usually work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, but it varies. Typically, I work long hours around 10 or 12. About: I grew up my whole life with dogs. Nothing is better then receiving their love when you walk through the door. My home even has it's own dog bathroom, dog run & house which is heated and cooled. I'm a volunteer at Nevada Humane Society. Dogs are the best!!! I'm retired but would like to get outdoors more and nothing better then walking/running a furry buddy next to me. I do have a few PRIVATE customers before I became a Rover emp. So I do try and keep my calendar up to date. I have a fenced yard, dog wash bathroom in my home which leads to a dog run and dog house heated and cooled. Now that I have met April & Rachel, I would not take Kilo any place else to watch our boy. I felt so comfortable after our meet & greet with the living arrangements and with the humans watching over him. I knew he would be treated like a king and in good safe hands. I didn’t have to worry about him the whole time I was gone. April & Rachel sent us photos/videos of Kilo so that I could see first hand how he was doing. He was getting the love and attention (even more than when he is at home) and this made us very happy. It’s nice to know he’s in great hands when we are away. For this past trip, I (the primary owner) was out of service and needed to connect Shannon and David with my partner. They were willing to accommodate this secondary contact. They also went above and beyond in picking Willa up from her previous sitter. All of the communication leading up to the trip made me feel like Willa would be in conscientious care and that proved true. Willa was excited to see me when I picked her up, but she also seemed at home and at ease. I highly recommend Shannon and David!”
