“Wow- What a great guy Ron is and just a fantastic option for your dog! A++++ Very clean and nice house. Close to highway on a great/quiet street. Great back yard for exercise. Perfect communication before and during the stay. Ron's dog Lexi is playful and wonderful. Thank you so much Ron and Lexi and we'll see you again soon!”

“Kathryn was great! She was respectful of our rules while also using her own intuition. The dogs loved spending time at her her house and playing with McGyver.”

“Kelly and her husband were great! She sent me updates and pictures regularly, they were very flexible on drop off and pick up and my dog Rocky had a very good time. Thank You!”

“This is our dog’s favorite place to stay when we have to go out of town! He always comes back home so happy and exhausted. Thank you for always making him feel at home!”

“Beans had the best weekend ever with Wendy and Dave! They loved on him all weekend, sent us tons of photos, and kept us updated on how he was doing! Beans also had a great time with their dog Wilbur who is such a sweetie. We would 100% leave beans in Wendy’s hands again”

“Megan took very good care of Amber. I got updates and photos regularly. I completely trusted leaving Amber with Megan and her family. I had a wonderful feeling about them as soon as we met. I could tell that Amber had fun staying with them and I will definitely use Megan for future times when I’m on vacation.”

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Laura! From the moment we dropped our dog off, we felt completely at ease knowing he was in caring and capable hands. When we picked him up, it was clear how happy and well cared for he had been—his tail was wagging, he was calm, and honestly, he seemed like he had just returned from his own little vacation! It’s such a relief to find someone who genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. Thank you, Laura, for taking such great care of our pup. We’ll definitely be booking with you again!”

“Chelsea was a superb dog hostess. She was responsive throughout the booking and our entire weekend stay and provided timely updates and lots of cute photos all weekend. Our senior dachshund was well cared for and came home calm and relaxed. I will definitely use her services again and if you have a special needs, older dog this may be the perfect home for your next boarding. Highly recommended! We'll be back.”

“April and Rachel have been great - from the initial meet up and through the pups stay, lots of photos and communication. The pups came back happy and relaxed 💕 Already booked their next stay 👍”

“Oh my gosh! Susan’s home was the BEST for my two puppies. They were so well loved, and came home stress free. My first choice whenever I need a sitter for the pups! Thank you, Susan, for giving them a second home while we were away!”

“You can tell Maria truly cares about the pets in her care and goes the extra mile to provide the best experience for each of them. She asked questions I wouldn’t have thought to tell her to ensure our dog was happy and safe, including a description of the other pets that would be present during his stay. She also welcomed a meetup beforehand to make sure our dog was compatible with her own pets, and showed me her house and yard, which gave me peace of mind. During his stay, she provided daily walks and enrichment, and sent awesome daily updates with photos. Our dog is normally very nervous being away from us, but actually seemed disappointed to leave Maria’s house when we picked him up!”

“Danielle was awesome with our pups! They were clearly excited and rightfully spoiled during the holidays. Felt comfortable and at ease having the dogs with her especially with the regular updates. She followed all instructions well and without issue especially for older dog. Highly recommend and will use her services again!”

“My older beagle stayed here for a full week. There were other small dogs there, which was fun for her I think! The house was clearly set up for dog sitting, with a doggy door into the yard, a gated area near the kitchen, and double handles on the front door so nobody sneaks out 😊 I didn't feel worried at all during Bella's time there, and she came home happy and rested!”

About: I live local to the area, and my schedule is extremely flexible to fit your needs. I understand that no two animals are the same and I take that very seriously when caring for them. I am currently working during the weekdays, but I am available during the day to take them out on walks/bathroom breaks and I am free evenings/weekends. I currently live in an apartment. Unless the dog is on the smaller side, I would prefer at home visits instead of taking the animals to my place.
“Young was great with my pup. He updated us throughout her stay with texts and pics. He is very attentive to all the dogs there making sure they are all having fun and getting along. Would definitely recommend him!”

“Brittany is the best! I immediately felt at ease leaving my fur babies with her. They get so excited to see her and her family again. I would highly recommend her!✨”

“An amazing sitter! 10/10. She left us feeling like we left our dogs with family. Great at communicating and sending photos. Our dog had recently had surgery so we were anxious but Kristen made us feel at ease the whole time we were out of the country.”
“Shannon and David were a delight to work with; prompt with availability, clear and responsive in communication, and so full of care and attention when watching Willa. For this past trip, I (the primary owner) was out of service and needed to connect Shannon and David with my partner. They were willing to accommodate this secondary contact. They also went above and beyond in picking Willa up from her previous sitter. All of the communication leading up to the trip made me feel like Willa would be in conscientious care and that proved true. Willa was excited to see me when I picked her up, but she also seemed at home and at ease. I highly recommend Shannon and David!”

“Gina is a true dog lover. She cared for my Olive like she was her own and provided excellent communication from start to finish with texts, photos and videos. Olive may have had a better time at Gina’s than she does at home. Thank you Gina!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Reno
Our older Boston absolutely loves when he gets to go see Rachel and her partner. He LOVES them so much and almost doesn’t want to leave when we pick him up. Our puppy is still pretty shy and needs more socialization but I could tell he opened up a lot!! He’s usually afraid of bigger dogs but was playing with a larger pup that was with them. Was really cool to see, he’s a lot more confident too after spending a couple days with them! You’re not going to find a better sitter in town, she is fantastic and so flexible and understanding.

Evelyn treats Aja Marie like her own. We know this by the way she gets excited when we say “Evelyn” and when we pull up to the house. Aja can’t wait to get out of the car and see her babysitter! Evelyn is in frequent contact and sends lots of adorable pictures. Her house is safe and comfy. And her back yard is a doggy paradise. Thank you! We all love you!

Whitney was wonderful. We had to extend Ollie's stay an extra day due to having a car accident on our way home. She made everything smooth and seamless for us. She sent great pictures of Ollie during his stay, and we could tell he really enjoyed himself. He gives her a 5 Paw Star rating.

Many sitters in NV ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
