“I’m very pleased to have found Ron and Lexi to take care of Jax. This was our second sitting with Ron and once again I have only wonderful praise for the care and love given. Jax is so at home there, I appreciate Ron and Lexi for making sure Jax is safe and loved.”

“Couldn’t be happier with her dog sitting. She sent a ton of pics which helped ease our mind as this was the first time having him boarded. Highly recommend!!!”

“I’ll be honest, Chelsea didn’t have a ton of reviews when I first reached out, so I was a little hesitant at first, especially since our previous dog sitter moved away and Blue is truly our baby. I’m so grateful I decided to take a chance because Chelsea was absolutely wonderful. From the beginning, she was kind, communicative, and very flexible, which immediately made me feel at ease. Throughout our week-long vacation, she sent regular updates and photos that meant so much to me and made it easy to relax knowing Blue was happy and well cared for. He settled in so naturally that it felt like he was staying with family, not just a sitter. Coming home to a happy, calm dog confirmed everything. It was clear she treated him with so much love and attention. Chelsea is someone who genuinely cares about animals and takes great pride in what she does. I felt incredibly safe leaving Blue in her care and would not hesitate to book with her again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter they can trust and feel confident with.”

“Ronnie was absolutely fantastic. He took my request last minute and when I picked up my pup, she didn’t want to leave his side. I highly recommend Ronnie for your doggy care needs. He is kind and you’ll have peace of mind that your pup is in caring hands.”

“Gina was very communicative with me and always made sure to send updates and photos. She was very easy to work with and really took the time to understand my dog’s needs. She is an excellent dog sitter and I highly recommend her!”

“Bailey seemed to do very well with Sarah. I appreciated Sarah’s quick responses to my questions as well as the pictures she sent. I would take Bailey to her again when I plan to be away.”

“My dog loves going to Brittany! Prim has bad separation anxiety and it has been a struggle to find a day care or somewhere for her to go and feel comfortable while I'm at work. Brittany is the first person that she loves to go to! She gets excited when we pull into the neighborhood and she runs inside and leaves me behind! It is such a relief to find someone that both me and my dog trust! -- also, I know they're loving on her because they had found a lump on her and were truly concerned when she told me about it.”

“Aaron and his family are always so wonderful to my Maddy girl. She looks forward to spending time with them and every time she comes home I can tell how much they have worked with her and kept up her hard earned skills with obedience training.”

“I had a last minute need to take care of my Sadie and nearly cancelled my trip! From the moment Wendy responded to my request I felt absolute comfort leaving my baby with her! The entire time she communicated with me and sent pictures of Sadie and her DARLING golden, Wilbur, together having the time of her life! I’m not sure who had more fun on vacation; me or Sadie?! Your baby will be well taken care of with Wendy 💕 I hit the jackpot finding her !”

“You can tell Maria truly cares about the pets in her care and goes the extra mile to provide the best experience for each of them. She asked questions I wouldn’t have thought to tell her to ensure our dog was happy and safe, including a description of the other pets that would be present during his stay. She also welcomed a meetup beforehand to make sure our dog was compatible with her own pets, and showed me her house and yard, which gave me peace of mind. During his stay, she provided daily walks and enrichment, and sent awesome daily updates with photos. Our dog is normally very nervous being away from us, but actually seemed disappointed to leave Maria’s house when we picked him up!”

“This is our dog’s favorite place to stay when we have to go out of town! He always comes back home so happy and exhausted. Thank you for always making him feel at home!”

“Frisco felt right at home staying with Hallie while we were away for a long weekend in Reno. Hallie was an excellent communicator and kept us updated every day with photos and messages which gave us so much peace of mind. Frisco was well cared for and having a great time playing with other dog friends too. We would absolutely book with Hallie again!”

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Laura! From the moment we dropped our dog off, we felt completely at ease knowing he was in caring and capable hands. When we picked him up, it was clear how happy and well cared for he had been—his tail was wagging, he was calm, and honestly, he seemed like he had just returned from his own little vacation! It’s such a relief to find someone who genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. Thank you, Laura, for taking such great care of our pup. We’ll definitely be booking with you again!”

“Danielle was great communicating with us and sent photos of my dog Ume while I was away. Ume was able to sleep with her on the bed. Danielle was able to keep with Ume's eye drop schedule and administer her eye drops. Thank you! We will book again :)”

“If any fur baby pet owners need a place to board their babies, we can and will highly recommend Young's Doggie Resort. Not only is Young's home perfect for any fur babies; Young, himself is beyond perfect. We never imagined someone would open their home and their heart the way Young did. Sending texts and photos throughout the day with constant updates and even a blog. Young was so caring and loving, we're planning to use his doggie daycare so our pup can play with Hersey and Frasier, plus Young!! As you can tell, we can't say enough about Young and his care for fur babies.”

“April and Rachel were amazing with our pups. From the moment we met them, we felt super comfortable, their home is clean, organized, and clearly set up for dogs. They introduced our pups to their sweet dog Honey, and everything felt really calm and thoughtful. They took great care of our babies, sent photos, and kept them happy and healthy the whole time. Would 100% recommend and will definitely book with them again 🤍”

“Kathryn was very relaxed and experienced for taking care of my dog ZuZu. She has a good home environment for ZuZu and no issues during the time I was out. I got three pictures everyday from Kathryn. ZuZu was happy with her. I would use her service again in the future!”

“WOW!!! Emily is a pure angel! I couldn't have found anyone better to take care of our baby! Emily is a sweetheart and very caring & gentle with our dog Max. He took to her immediately and felt right at home. I will definitely book Emily again! Thank you Emily! We'll be back!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Reno
Our older Boston absolutely loves when he gets to go see Rachel and her partner. He LOVES them so much and almost doesn’t want to leave when we pick him up. Our puppy is still pretty shy and needs more socialization but I could tell he opened up a lot!! He’s usually afraid of bigger dogs but was playing with a larger pup that was with them. Was really cool to see, he’s a lot more confident too after spending a couple days with them! You’re not going to find a better sitter in town, she is fantastic and so flexible and understanding.

Evelyn treats Aja Marie like her own. We know this by the way she gets excited when we say “Evelyn” and when we pull up to the house. Aja can’t wait to get out of the car and see her babysitter! Evelyn is in frequent contact and sends lots of adorable pictures. Her house is safe and comfy. And her back yard is a doggy paradise. Thank you! We all love you!

Whitney was wonderful. We had to extend Ollie's stay an extra day due to having a car accident on our way home. She made everything smooth and seamless for us. She sent great pictures of Ollie during his stay, and we could tell he really enjoyed himself. He gives her a 5 Paw Star rating.

Many sitters in NV ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
