“Maria was awesome with our Duke. This was our first experience using the Rover app and we were very pleased with the service. Maria was very caring and attentive with Duke and had great communication throughout his entire stay.”

“Another comfy stay with Julio. My shy kitty always looks comfy and well taken care of when she stays with Julio & that means a lot to me when I have to travel away from home. Communication is easy and I’m always looking forward to the pictures or videos. Thanks so much again!!!”

“Frisco felt right at home staying with Hallie while we were away for a long weekend in Reno. Hallie was an excellent communicator and kept us updated every day with photos and messages which gave us so much peace of mind. Frisco was well cared for and having a great time playing with other dog friends too. We would absolutely book with Hallie again!”

“Megan was a delight to work with. She was prompt with replies and kept me updated on how Frankie was doing through text and pictures! I wouldn't hesitate to use her again in the future!”

“Shanna was awesome with my puppy! Dixie was so happy coming back from her night with Shanna. She was an amazing sitter she sent me photos all through the night and was very responsive! I will definitely send my pup back to Shanna!”

“Laura was very nice to take my last minute request. She sent me daily updates and photos and assured me my dog was doing well. Lastly, she allowed a very late night pick up when my return flight was delayed. All in all, I'm very happy with her service! I wouldn't hesitate to use her again in the future.”

“Kathryn is amazing! The best person Teddy could of had! She really cares about dogs 🐕 Teddy is a very happy little guy, and we will definitely be back to have Kathryn care for him again. Her yard is fenced and perfect for my little boy. Thank you!”

“As a first time Rover user I was very hesitant leaving my little love with a stranger! Ron put my worries at ease from the meet and greet until the end of my trip! He was phenomenal! He sent photos while I was away so I could see what everyone was up to, and one of his photos was the best picture that has ever been captured of Scout (and is now my phone background)! When my flight home was cancelled, he was very flexible and understanding! I can really tell Ron took care of Scout, because when I usually leave him with friends, he is hoarse from barking, but not with Ron! I'm beyond satisfied and will continue to book with Ron for future travels Scout can't participate in!”

“We are recent transplants to Reno so it is always a worry re: finding care for our girl when we are away. Kelly took great care to learn all about Heidi’s care before we booked. Her communication was excellent (she sent photos during the stay and got back to me quickly whenever I checked in). Juneau is obviously a lovely dog and I’m sure Heidi enjoyed having company around. We are so happy to have found a great sitter in our new city”

“Ivy took great care of our boy! She sent us pictures and messages about how he was doing. He appeared happy and healthy upon pick up. Ivy has a big back yard that worked well with our energetic and active Labrador. I would highly recommend Ivy as a trusted pet sitter!”

“Lisa is a gem! From the initial booking request through to the completion of our first stay, Lisa was engaging and very prompt in responding to inquiries. Could not be more pleased to have found her!”

“Susan and her family were incredible! We have never left our boys with anyone who isn't family, but Susan took care of them as if they were. If you are looking for some place for your dogs to get plenty of love and attention while you are away, I absolutely recommend Susan! We have already booked our next stay with her.”

“I cannot recommend Brittany enough! From the moment we met, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. She took amazing care of my dog, kept me updated with photos and messages, and made sure my pup felt loved and comfortable while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my dog was in such caring and reliable hands. When I got home, my dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I will absolutely be booking with Brittany again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate pet sitter!”

“Megan was a great sitter for our Charlie! I appreciated the effort she made to meet up before hand to get to know him. She was also easy to schedule and communicate with. I loved all of pictures we got throughout his stay. Coming home, Charlie was totally chilled out and happy; seems like he had a great time at Megan’s house and we so appreciate the care and attention she gave our old pup.”

“Thank goodness for Leu and her family for accommodating Shizu and her special senior dog needs! Neither of our dog's usual sitter(s) were available so I had to find someone on short notice. Leu was very thorough before we booked with her to make sure our dog (and the other dogs she was watching at the same time) would be comfortable during their stay. I like to endearingly call Shizu our 'diva dog' but she has grown so much less tolerant of other dogs (especially ones bigger than her) since being diagnosed with Cushings disease three years ago. Leu was awesome and provided Shizu with her own room/space away from the other dogs and made sure she received the care she needed. Thank you so very much for being such an attentive pet sitter!”
“My Cherry is super shy and has some special requirements and Sarah was so accommodating! She treated her as part of the family. Also, she is very quick to respond to all messages :). I definitely recommend having your pup stay with Sarah and will be repeat customer!”

Melisa took care of our three babies, the first time all three of them have been away from us ever, and they had a great time, they loved her! We did a meet and greet with her and her beautiful daughter and then when we took them back for their stay they were very excited to get into the house. We will definitely be seeing Melissa again and highly recommend.

Leu has taken great care of Niko and seemed to have a great time with all the attention and affection-which we are so grateful for! Leu was communicative and considerate to our preferences as our dog takes a bit to warm up. Receiving pictures and updates throughout the day made us feel at ease and smile during our time away!

Viana is absolutely awesome with our Maggie. She is what i have been looking for to dog sit our pup when we are away. I felt very comfortable on our first meet and greet. She is very knowledgeable with the care and treatment of dogs. Her, Maggie and scruffy all got along great! When i picked up Maggie up after 3 days, you can tell right away your dog was treated with care, kindness, and firmness. Viana is my new go to for doggie sitter. Thank you Viana

From the beginning, Blake was a good communicator and always prompt to respond. Our dog, Ozzie, usually takes a while to warm up to anyone new, but he took to Blake at the first greeting which was pleasantly surprising. His home was very tidy and safe and we really appreciated that he let Oz on his couch and bed. Blake was very patient, understanding and capable of handling Ozzie's moderate reactivity and leash pulling. He also followed directions perfectly, like making sure Ozzie got the right amount of food, 2 supplements and some dental treats. Ozzie looked happy in the picture and video he sent us which was also such a great peace of mind for us while we were away for 10 long days. We also really appreciated his flexibility and communication on pick up and drop off times. Thank you so much Blake!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
