Tim described a silly behavior of Glacier’s that he only does when he’s extremely happy, so I knew he was being well taken care of. Tim also took G on a walk along the river. Tim had another dog there while Glacier was there and seemed to easily be able to navigate the two during feeding times, play times, etc. Also a plus, his house is very easy to find! I absolutely recommend Tim!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. Over the past six years, I’ve helped raise four puppies and regularly care for dogs belonging to family and friends, sometimes having up to six dogs in my home at once. I have a 4-year-old Golden Retriever, Lucy, and two cats. My home has hard floors, a doggie door, and a large, secure backyard with plenty of room to explore and play. I also love taking dogs out for walks and fresh air. I care for my grandbaby at home one day a week, so I keep a safe, calm, and well-managed environment. While I’m new to Rover, I’m definitely not new to caring for dogs and love making visiting pups feel like part of the family. 🐾 My days vary, but because I work from home, I’m around most of the time. Aside from an occasional errand or Pilates class, you’ll usually find me in my home office, out in the yard, or spending time with the animals. Walks, playtime, backyard exploring, and plenty of cuddles naturally fit into my day, so visiting pups get lots of attention and companionship while they’re here. 🐾 My home is very pet-friendly and already set up with animals in mind. I have hard floors, a puppy-proofed environment, a doggie door, and a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to explore and play. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level, and I supervise introductions with Lucy and my two cats carefully. I’m also happy to separate pets or adjust the environment when needed so everyone feels safe and relaxed. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to keep a close eye on visiting pups and make sure they’re getting the right balance of play, rest, attention, and affection. 🐾
“Chelsea was a superb dog hostess. She was responsive throughout the booking and our entire weekend stay and provided timely updates and lots of cute photos all weekend. Our senior dachshund was well cared for and came home calm and relaxed. I am retired, so I have plenty of time to share my love of dogs with your family! We live near a park, so we can go for walks, we also have a really safe backyard for playing! I have a safe, grassy, shaded backyard for sunning or playing! My dog love to play fetch so, we can have fun inside and out!

We had the pleasure of leaving our 70 lb Husky with Timothy this past weekend. He took really good care of our dog and followed our feeding instructions to the tee. More importantly, He was very communicative while providing daily updates and pictures, our dog looked very happy and comfortable with him. Tim has the right temperament in handling dogs so all dogs will be comfortable under his watch. He also has a dog friendly home and allows the dog to get comfortable to new surroundings. Our dog immediately explored the backyard and the house sniffing for new smells, Tim was fine with Kobe running around on his own. I would highly recommend you booking with Timothy if you need a capable dog sitter and a person who treats your dog well. Our Kobe was happy to see us when we picked him up but we could also tell that Kobe was in good hands under Tim's watch.
Kaytey was absolutely incredible. From the first meet and greet, to the first drop off we felt very comfortable leaving our two dogs, including a new six-month-old puppy, with her for 2+ weeks. But it didn’t stop there. She continued to update us not only with pictures, but with very thoughtful observations and it was clear our two dogs were in very good hands. She also accommodated a late pick up to help coordinate with our flights, and we will definitely be using her again!
My husband and I were visiting in the Reno area for the hot air ballooning event. We travel with our dog Kristof, but we couldn't keep him in the large casino hotel that we were booked into. Amanda was very amenable with taking Kristof for the 4 days and sent me daily updates/pictures. She was also accommodating with our travel schedule and we were able to pick him up early Sunday am for the long drive home. Thanks Amanda....maybe we will see you again next year!
Jessie and Emma were great and accommodated our very last-minute request. They were super flexible with drop-off and even let us pick up the pups late at night. We got lots of wonderful pictures while we were gone, which really put our minds at ease. They listened to everything we told them about the dogs, and we picked up three very happy pups! We’d definitely use them again.
Kevin was an excellent dog sitter for our Tiko. He sent more pictures and messages than anyone I have had in Rover. He kept Tiko for 7 days. I had no doubts that we had chosen well by choosing Kevin. He's wonderful and I do not hesitate to highly recommend him to anyone/everyone looking for a dog sitter.
Our older Boston absolutely loves when he gets to go see Rachel and her partner. He LOVES them so much and almost doesn’t want to leave when we pick him up. Our puppy is still pretty shy and needs more socialization but I could tell he opened up a lot!! He’s usually afraid of bigger dogs but was playing with a larger pup that was with them. Was really cool to see, he’s a lot more confident too after spending a couple days with them! You’re not going to find a better sitter in town, she is fantastic and so flexible and understanding.
Whitney was wonderful. We had to extend Ollie's stay an extra day due to having a car accident on our way home. She made everything smooth and seamless for us. She sent great pictures of Ollie during his stay, and we could tell he really enjoyed himself. He gives her a 5 Paw Star rating.
