I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.

Pet care experience

My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections.

Kevin is amazing!!!! I messaged him last minute before a quick day trip and I kid you not he responded in less than 3 minutes and was at my door to meet my dog and myself within the next 30. Beyond punctual, friendly and kind. 10/10 experience and would absolutely book again!

Kevin is a wonderful pet caregiver. He has had his own dog, an 11 year-old Chiweenie named Stella, since he was in college and has always taken excellent care of her, ensuring she gets plenty of walks, time outside, and snuggles. When we adopted our diabetic cat, Moby (who has since passed), he helped me greatly in caring for him, including learning how to take his blood glucose and give him insulin injections. Neither of us knew exactly what we were getting into with Moby and his medical needs, but Kevin rolled with the punches and always had the attitude that we would figure it out for the cat we both loved. Later, we adopted another cat that we named Nemo. He had a previous injury from being shot with an air rifle, and we helped nurse him back to health while we fostered him. Kevin has never shied away from medical challenges with a pet, and we soon fell in love with Nemo and adopted him. Lastly, we adopted a French bulldog puppy named Comet, and it has been an absolute honor to watch Kevin raise, train, and love him. Kevin is the type of person who makes his pets a huge part of his life. We take the dogs with us to as many places as we can when we travel, and we make sure Nemo is happy with some of our favorite Rovers. Kevin truly loves all animals and will give your pet as much love and attention as if they were his own.

I have known Kevin for the last ten years (holy cow), and since then he has always been the obsessed dog dad of a darling Chiweenie named Stella. He takes her everywhere with him, and she even made a starring appearance in his wedding. In the last few years, he and his new wife added another dog to their family, a Frenchie puppy they named Comet. Kevin is a big Pokémon Go guy, so the dogs gets lots of walks in to help catch 'em all! Kevin is trustworthy, patient, and kind when it comes to animals. He would be a wonderful Rover!
