“This is the second time Sherina has taken care of my cat and garden, and her care and consideration is outstanding; both times, she has gone above and beyond the job description. I forgot it was trash day the day before I was coming home, and she noticed the neighbors had their cans outside. My recycling was completely full, and she was kind enough to take it out. This attention to detail extended to her care for my cat, who immediately recognized her as his new best friend. Sherina’s love for animals is evident beyond the pets entrusted in her care; my cat is a remorseless hunter, and she rescued a baby bunny from the backyard before the cat could catch it. The cat quickly forgave her with the distraction of his favorite treats. Sherina also has a green thumb; she kept my garden thriving during a heat wave, and sent me updates on the blooming flowers in addition to adorable cat in action pictures. She also noticed the nozzle attachment to my automatic drip system had a crack and was leaking. I ordered the replacement, and Sherina offered to switch out the broken one for the new one. I felt like it was a lot to ask since I hadn’t included horticultural engineering in the contract, but she said she would be happy to fix it. When I returned, the drip system was better than ever- no leak, low water bill, no wasted water and happy flowers. What’s more, Sherina was able to watch the house an extra day on short notice when my travel plans unexpectedly changed. If I could give her ten stars, I would! You can be assured that your pet and home will be in loving and competent hands when you’re out of town. Thank you, Sherina, Kepa will be happy to see you again soon!”

About: At a young age I was trusted to take care of my families furry friends. I love bonding with dogs over walks, trainings, and snuggles! I’ve taken care of my friends, families, coworkers, and childcare jobs pets! I have the most experience with cats and dogs. I work 9am - 3pm and am on call for afternoons right now. My weekends are typically open. I’m mostly interested in walks and drop-in’s. Other pet care will require more coordination. My calendar is still being updated. I am comfortable with crating pets, maintaining routines, and giving a good snuggle! Just show me the ropes and describe where important items are stored! Feel free to provide emergency contacts
“Angie was fantastic! She went above and beyond in caring for my 2 dogs. She walked them every day, some days multiple times and just took great care of them. The photos were forthcoming after each visit and my dogs just loved her visits. I saw them on my Ring cams running after Angie and jumping up to meet her when she arrived. I will use Angie forever!”

About: I've been the go-to call for dog sitting for all my friends and family for the last 10 years (since high school). I've done simple checkups/walks as well as lengthy multi-week stays taking care of as many as 4 dogs at a time. I am a full-time worker, but in a quiet time of business so I have fairly flexible hours. I am an early riser so I am available from 7-9am, I have flexibility at my job for a lengthy lunch around 11-1pm, and I'm available virtually every weekday after 5pm during the week as well. I am also available on weekends for visits and boarding! I live in an apartment with a dog park in a great walking neighborhood, so while I can't keep your dogs in a yard, exercise is not a problem and my apartment is very pet friendly. I'm also very open and accommodating if your pet has any specific needs!
“Ashley was great. We hired her to visit with our dog while we were out of town. She gave him lots of attention and snuggles, just what he needed. He was happy and content when we got back home. We'll definitely book her again.”

About: I treat every pet like family, giving them the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I’m experienced with both energetic puppies and sweet senior pets—patient with training needs and gentle with older dogs who need extra TLC. I’m always tuned in to each pet’s personality and comfort, whether that means long walks, belly rubs, or quiet company. Safety, consistency, and connection are my top priorities. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make them a priority in my schedule. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I plan my day around their needs. I’m reliable, flexible, and always happy to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I truly love doing. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, their safety and comfort always come first. I keep a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where they feel secure and relaxed. I follow all routines closely—feeding schedules, walks, meds, and favorite toys—so pets feel right at home. I also give regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I respect your space, your rules, and your pet’s unique needs, treating them like part of the family.
About: I have been dog sitting for over 3 years, one was everyday walks & others were overnight occasional stays. I have experience with both small and large dogs. During summer, I have extremely open availability. I have a plentiful amount of time during weekdays and weekends for walks as well as overnight stays. I provide care through walks and other attention like playing with toys. I make sure to provide them with plenty of water and food when it is time to eat.
About: My JRT and I were a Certified Pet Therapy Team until his death, at age 17, in March 2025. I want to give and receive doggie energy and love until I am ready for a new full time companion. I am a retired professional working as a yoga instructor and End of Life Doula. I am experienced and comfortable with adult, senior, ill, and end of life doggy woggies. My schedule varies from week to week. On the weekends, I might take your dog to the mountains for outdoor adventure (or inside rest). Let me know your needs and I will try to make it work into my schedule. I prefer drop-ins, walks, or sleep-overs at our house. I have a doggie door for small dogs and a fully fenced back yard. I have a backpack and snuggly for those who like to be close. We are open to couch and bed surfing.
About: I’ve grown up with and cared for cats and dogs for my entire life. I was also my coworkers dog sitter for over a year. Every Monday-Friday I would head to her house in the afternoon to let her 4 large dogs outside, feed them, play with them, and clean up any messes around the house. I also take care of my personal cats Luci and Beans daily, including pill feedings and other special tasks. While out of school, I’m basically free whenever. During the semester however, I will mostly be free early mornings and late afternoons/evenings. I’m also going to be available on many holidays. I am a very attentive pet owner, and if anything seems out of the ordinary I take that very seriously. Pets are part of our family and I treat them like it.

I am very available for boarding, walking, visiting, loving on, and feeding. I can make almost anytime work and can be counted on! I am very willing to board, stay with, or walk your pets. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any kind for about 3 years now. The longest being over 2 weeks long. I have experience in training as well. I have an open schedule, I go to school at UNR and am free Saturday-Monday all day, and afternoons Tuesday and Thursdays, and finally morning and afternoons on Wednesday’s. I am very respectful with all animals and follow clear boundaries put in place. My biggest concern is making all clients feel confident in their decision of hiring me.
“So patient. Accidentally sent him to the wrong house and he took it really well. Went above and beyond and took the dog and my moms dog who were visiting for a walk. Good guy!”
About: I’ve been an animal love my whole life and I am able to connect with dogs easily and quickly. I’ve worked with many kinds of dogs with different personalities so I can comfortably say I know how to handle most dogs, and I am willing to adapt to special needs or anything else to keep your pup comfortable and happy. I love getting out and getting some excercise so I am able to do longer walks or even run with your pup as well. I treat every dog I watch even better than I would my own pup, so you can be sure your pup is in the best hands. Thanks for your time and have a good day. I’m currently working full time Wednesday-Sunday 1:30-10pm so I would be able to care for your dog before and after work, and I’m willing to stop by on my lunch to give them dinner if needed but they’d have my full attention Monday and Tuesday When I am dog sitting and watching a dog in a clients home, I like to leave the house how I found it. So in addition to watching you pup, watering plants, whatever else you may need, you can be assured you’ll come home to a nice clean home.
Reno dog parents share their Rover experiences
Taylor was amazing!! She took time to walk my pups and made sure all their duties and wiggles were taken care of! She took them to their favorite spots and I felt so safe with Taylor’s care! I definitely recommend Taylor and will be using her in the future! Thank you Taylor!!!

Ezra has been SO good with my Kiya! He goes above and beyond to make sure that she is comfortable, and is very intelligent about how to handle dogs with love and affection. He truly cares for animals and it is important to him that they are treated properly. It seems to be a passion of his to make sure that the pups are cared for in the best possible way for them. Kiya has never really been a puppy who attaches herself to men, but she is so comfortable with Ezra! He is like a puppy whisperer! I highly recommend him!!

Ainsley was amazing with our two pups (a 40lb Blue Heeler and a tiny 3lb Yorkie)! She was super reliable and always showed up right on time. She didn’t just pop in and leave—she spent extra time playing with them and making sure they were happy and well taken care of. Both dogs loved her, and it gave us so much peace of mind while we were out of town. We’ll definitely be booking with Ainsley again, and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!
