About: I started house sitting in high school and am highly adaptable to each animal and owner needs. I grew up with a dog, used to live with two beautiful german shepherds for 3 years, and have two adventure cats, Swoop and Riley, that live with me on the road in my camper van. I love animals. I’ve raised chickens and ducks, have plenty of experience with pet injuries and medication, walking large strong dogs, and take my cats out to explore the world. I am a huge hiker so if you would love for me to burn some energy out of your fur baby, I’m your girl but I’m also here for all the pet cuddles. I’m currently working Sunday-Wednesday in Incline but am available early mornings and evenings on those days with a lunch break. I have open availability all other parts of the Tahoe and Truckee, Carson City between Wednesday night and Sunday morning. I live in a van in Tahoe for the season so I have great flexibility. I have plenty of experience house sitting and can provide references as well. I always treat other people’s homes with respect and care. I would love to talk about expectations and how I can best care for everything.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my entire life, which means caring for four-legged family members is second nature to me. My 'portable' office also makes me a great fit for house sitting, as I can work right from your home and keep your pet company. Weekends are equally open and flexible for whatever your pet needs! I believe the best environment for a pet is one that closely mirrors their usual routine. Whether I am house sitting or dropping in, I strictly follow your specific guidelines for feeding and house rules. During house sittings and drop-ins, I respect your home as if it were my own—keeping things clean, secure, and locked up. When we are out on walks, your dog will always be kept on a secure, standard leash, and I maintain a strict 'no greeting' policy with unfamiliar dogs to prevent any unpredictable interactions. I am deeply observant of body language to ensure your pet is happy, comfortable, and never stressed. I also believe that communication builds trust, so you can always expect timely photo updates and detailed Rover cards after every visit!

I have even diagnosed sick pets before they had visited a vet to confirm my guesses. All this to say I am very in tune with animals as they are with me. About: I've owned Australian Cattle Dogs (red/blue heelers) my entire life. My beloved most recent 12 year old Red Heeler named Austin passed away last summer. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. If your dog cannot be left alone for a few hours at a time you'll need to look elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access. I would prefer to care for dogs in my home but open to house sitting also.

I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to adjust my day around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or evening visits, I’m able to make pet care a priority throughout the week. When pets stay in my home, I keep their routine as familiar as possible. I follow their feeding schedule, provide plenty of potty breaks, and make time for daily walks and play. I keep a clean, pet-safe space and offer lots of companionship throughout the day. I monitor behavior, offer enrichment activities, and ensure they have a comfortable place to rest. I also send regular photos and updates so owners know their pet is happy and relaxed.

About: Hey there! I have lived my entire 30 years with dogs. From growing up with two golden retrievers to getting my own dog louie at 17- and seeing him through his senior years all the way up until his passing this past February. We still have his sweet loving sister Nala who is 5, a tender gentle girl who lives for fetch! She may be timid at first meet but is just a submissive gentle girl who eventually opens up for fun loving play if the other dog will have her :) I have dog and cat sat for family and friends since I can remember. I absolutely love animals and take care of them with immense responsibility and care as I know from my own experience they are often some of the most important beings in our life. My husband Louie (my dog Louie came first they just happened to have the same name! lol) is also an animal lover and instantly adopted my babies upon meeting and has always treated them with tender and diligent care. We are responsible loving and caring pet parents who take the responsibility of looking after your loved one very seriously! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. We currently live in a home with an enclosed deck space, however whenever we aren't home we keep the windows and doors completely shut and locked.

About: I am a Clinical Medical Assistant, Herbalist, and student of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Holistic health, nutrition, and vitality are cornerstones in my life and extends to my furry friends as well! Dogs are deemed man’s best friend for a reason; they are among the greatest teachers and companions. I will cherish my time with your animal(s) and treat them with the utmost respect. Health and cuddles are my top priorities! Since the passing of my own dog, I love to fit dog walks & snuggles into the nooks and crannies of my days as well as the occasional sleepover. The days that I don’t work I can be extremely flexible and even those that I do, my schedule is fairly easy to work around. Dogs and nature are really only when I feel the most at peace. Dogs are great for mental health! So until I can have my own again I will happily play the role of a distant auntie who loves them as her own. Whether it’s in my space or yours we will explore nature’s playground while being mindful of other people and dogs to maintain the comfort of all parties. I love hiking, long walks on the beach, and playing fetch with those furry friends that have endless energy. however, a slow, leisure stroll with the less active or elderly dogs as we stop for a latte and a pocket treat before heading back to snuggle on the couch for endless belly rubs. Multiple check ins and lots of pictures will be taken as I know our animals are like family!

About: Grew up on a dairy farm, have had family pets growing up including dogs (of all sizes) and cats. Began house and animal sitting at the age of 15 for family friends. My strict daily routine keeps me on track for animal care. Currently working full-time, filling the day with numerous outside activities and play time for family pets. My love for animals allows me to easily create a great bond with them! Enabling me to closely monitor their behavior for anything out of the ordinary.

About: I have experience with a broad range of dogs from miniature aussies to pit bulls and Great Danes. I’m happy to take your dogs on longer hikes and adjust care to their energy levels and needs. I also have experience caring for reptiles, felines, goats, and chickens. I’m currently working part time locally in South Lake Tahoe while attending school online, and I have a flexible schedule for dog walking and pet care! I will discuss care expectations prior to pet sitting / dog walking to make sure I understand the animal’s behavior on leash or with other dogs. Typically in home care involves feeding, light cleaning, spending time with animal in the yard (if available) and dog walking.

About: I provide a safe, reliable and enriching environment for pups of all ages! I raised my pup since 11 weeks and I follow the AbsoluteDogs training methodology which has shaped Nori to be the adventure dog of our dreams! ❤️ I work part-time remotely, so am available most of the day to care for dogs. And my pup is available at all times for playtime. I have a pen for separating my pup away from yours if necessary, and any client’s dog will be walked on leash unless specifically requested by the client. I only provide baths for short haired, smooth coated dogs, and I can also provide basic obedience training using positive reinforcement.
