About: I am a dog mommy of a medium 14 year old pit mix, Roxy. I love all dogs and have family with everything from a Chihuahua (with no teeth) to a dopey Great Dane named after prince George. I have babysat all of their dogs and love to play outside with them. I like to run and hike with my dogs and we like to be silly together. She is getting older (14 years old) so she is not as active as she once was. I'm an educator, so my own pup is used to me being gone during the day, but because of holidays and summers I'm also free frequently. My own dog in the past struggled with stubborness and reactivity, so I know how to work with stubborn dogs and easy going dogs of all sorts. I have also worked with geriatric dogs and know what a struggle it can be when dogs are getting into old age. As an educator I work Monday through Friday (most weeks) during the day, and am home evenings, but have extensive availability weekends and holidays. My schedule can be somewhat flexible I am available to come to your home if your dog needs some company or can have your pup at my place. I also have transportation for taking your pet to the beach, river, or parks. I am happy to run, walk, or just hang out with your pets.

About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.
About: I live in a private home with a large, fully fenced-in yard off of Ski Run Blvd with 4 female rescues. I have had and cared for dogs (large and small) as well as cats for 13 years and am loving, patient, and responsible. I love to get outside for runs down to the beach or to go hiking in the area, and try to bring at least one dog with me on every adventure. I have raised both puppies and cared for elderly dogs, including my own Golden Retriever Stewie who sadly passed away two years ago at the age of 12. I’m pretty flexible in my schedule and can visit during the week( I do have a child I have to pick up in the afternoon.) I can walk and play with dog or cat. As well as check the food & water. I’m pretty flexible with whatever may be needed for care.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own since I was less than 10 years old, and have had my current dog Sandy for about 6 years. I have a lot of experience with dogs of all kinds- puppies to seniors, healthy to serious health concerns, I’ve done it all! I am a work from home teacher, so even during the weekday I am home for the majority of the day. My dog Sandy and I usually spend the day playing in the backyard, relaxing on the couch, or playing with her toys. My work schedule is not demanding, and I have summers off, so I have all the time to spend with your pups. I live in a 2 story duplex with just myself, my 10 year old friendly dog Sandy, and my fiance Austin (who also loves dogs!). The backyard is fenced and is shared by the other family in the duplex. Sandy usually roams free in the home, but we can crate in the home if necessary.

About: I'm taking a hiatus from full time work so I have plenty of time to devote to your dog(s). I love long walks, hikes, and trail runs, so happy to accommodate different activity levels. I don't have any pets right now, so yours will get my full attention. My gal Eli crossed the rainbow bridge this past spring and I'm not ready for another yet, but I miss doggo time. Experienced with senior care, mobility challenged dogs, and administering medication. I currently work very part time (Friday and Saturday afternoons, occasional other days), so I have plenty of time to devote to your pet. I miss daily walks! I have a fenced in back yard. Both front and back entrances have 4-5 stairs to the door, can carry dogs up to 65 lbs or assist. There aren't any other pets in the house so yours will have it all as a staycation. Quiet neighborhood for walks, and close driving distance to trails for hikes if desired.

A note on overnight stays: I do require a separate bedroom to recharge. This is important for me to show up fully for your pet and maintain my energy and focus for my work the next day. If your pet used to sleep with a human and struggles with overnight separation, I may not be the best fit. I appreciate your understanding! About: I am a dog mommy of a medium 14 year old pit mix, Roxy. I love all dogs and have family with everything from a Chihuahua (with no teeth) to a dopey Great Dane named after prince George. I have babysat all of their dogs and love to play outside with them. I like to run and hike with my dogs and we like to be silly together. She is getting older (14 years old) so she is not as active as she once was. I'm an educator, so my own pup is used to me being gone during the day, but because of holidays and summers I'm also free frequently. My own dog in the past struggled with stubborness and reactivity, so I know how to work with stubborn dogs and easy going dogs of all sorts. I have also worked with geriatric dogs and know what a struggle it can be when dogs are getting into old age. As an educator I work Monday through Friday (most weeks) during the day, and am home evenings, but have extensive availability weekends and holidays. My schedule can be somewhat flexible I am available to come to your home if your dog needs some company or can have your pup at my place. I also have transportation for taking your pet to the beach, river, or parks. I am happy to run, walk, or just hang out with your pets.

About: As lifelong dog owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. Bre has experience volunteering at the humane society, and we've spent the last few years pet sitting, caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether they need long walks, playtime, or just some cuddles on the couch, our goal is to stick to your dog's normal routine and treat them like one of our own. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We work 3–4 days a week and often work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home or available throughout the day. If we do work the same day, our shifts are in the evening, so we still have the entire morning and afternoon to spend with your pet. We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while in our care. We have a fenced-in backyard and live just minutes from the marsh and beach, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime. Our own dog loves exploring the area and swimming, but we always prioritize each dog's individual comfort. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. We understand that every owner has their own routines and expectations, and we will always respect your instructions and your pet’s needs. At our home, dogs are welcome on the couch, surrounded by toys, attention, and lots of love. Whether your pet is staying with us or we are caring for them in their own home, our goal is to create a safe, trusting, and stress-free environment.
