About: Hello! I’m a local dental hygienist that will treat your pet as if it’s my own. I am a healthy balance of being active and outdoorsy as well as a homebody, so I am able to adjust my daily routine to meet your pet’s needs/wants! I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! I work Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 to 5 and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 3. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, day care and overnight stays any times that do not fall within those timeframes. “This review is long overdue! Gina and Erik watched our two golden retrievers while in Tahoe for a family gathering in May 2023. They treated our dogs like their own and sent us lots of updates, photos and videos of our dogs during their stay. Our dogs looked SO HAPPY and clearly LOVED Gina and Erik. During a thunderstorm, one of our dogs was scared and Gina made a rub of essentials oils to help calm him, and Erik gave him hugs on the couch. About: We hit the trails daily and have plenty of safe, secure space to exercise your pup. I'm currently taking on some gig work to supplement my grad school aid as I finish my degree. Time is as precious as the angels by our side, and I’ll treat your pup like my own. For your peace of mind, I maintain an active Wilderness EMT certification, and my trail kit always includes canine-specific tourniquets and first aid. Flexible schedule. We prefer early, especially before a summer crowd, so that there is some safe space for everyone to run off leash and feel the freedom we all deserve. Selectively accepting a few well mannered companions. We'll keep a good eye. I have a couple spare tracking collars if that is a concern for off leash activity.
“My family was on a short vacation and didn't realize dogs were not allowed where we stayed. I contacted Laura and she accepted my boarding request quickly and even came to picked up our pup. She sent pictures and videos throughout the day and I must say our doggy had a vacation herself! Laura took her on a beautiful walk through the snow and then another to the beach. About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of many different animals from baby deer to chickens. I’ve had many different breeds of dogs from an Akita to Great Pyrenees. Currently I have a male cat. I’m pretty flexible in my schedule and can visit during the week( I do have a child I have to pick up in the afternoon.) I can walk and play with dog or cat. As well as check the food & water. “Tim T. is amazing! He got us out of a real bind. We were away from home for a wedding. We found out the day before the wedding that we could not leave our dogs in our hotel room. By some miracle, Tim happened to be available with less than a day notice. He picked up our dogs at the hotel. Usually one of our dogs takes a while to warm up to new people. We were nervous but Tim is some sort of dog whisperer! In no time at all, the dogs were in his car and off for a day of fun. They spent the day taking a drive, then a hike, and then relaxing in the lap of luxury at Tim's house. We got photos throughout the day and it was obvious that Tim was the dogs' new favorite person. We were able to enjoy the wedding stress free. Tim returned the dogs to us late at night. It couldn't have been easier. Our only regret is that we live too far away to make Tim our regular sitter. If he's available, don't hesitate! We'd give Tim more stars if we could!”

We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel at home while in our care. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. About: I've owned Australian Cattle Dogs (red/blue heelers) my entire life. My beloved most recent 12 year old Red Heeler named Austin passed away last summer. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. I don't have any pets right now, so yours will get my full attention. My gal Eli crossed the rainbow bridge this past spring and I'm not ready for another yet, but I miss doggo time. Experienced with senior care, mobility challenged dogs, and administering medication. I currently work very part time (Friday and Saturday afternoons, occasional other days), so I have plenty of time to devote to your pet. I miss daily walks! I have a fenced in back yard. Both front and back entrances have 4-5 stairs to the door, can carry dogs up to 65 lbs or assist. There aren't any other pets in the house so yours will have it all as a staycation. Quiet neighborhood for walks, and close driving distance to trails for hikes if desired.
About: I live in a private home with a large, fully fenced-in yard off of Ski Run Blvd with 4 female rescues. I have had and cared for dogs (large and small) as well as cats for 13 years and am loving, patient, and responsible. I love to get outside for runs down to the beach or to go hiking in the area, and try to bring at least one dog with me on every adventure. I have raised both puppies and cared for elderly dogs, including my own Golden Retriever Stewie who sadly passed away two years ago at the age of 12. I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry family members as well as I do my own! My schedule varies, but I keep it up to date in the app and can be flexible if anything comes up or if needs change. I have a fully fenced in, private backyard off of a quiet street that is perfect for lots of running around with my 3 dogs, who are incredibly friendly and get along with dogs of all ages and sizes (and are great at tiring out puppies!). My dogs are crate trained and usually are in their crates at night and when I am away for more than a couple hours, and I would be happy to do the same or whatever is preferred for yours.

About: I’ve been around animals since a little girl. They’ve always caught my eye, i’ve dealt with little to huge doggies and they all been great! Taking care of them has always been a passion of mine. I’m currently working part time at a dog day care which i love and lets me have plenty of free time to watch your babies whenever needed. “This review is long overdue! Gina and Erik watched our two golden retrievers while in Tahoe for a family gathering in May 2023. About: We hit the trails daily and have plenty of safe, secure space to exercise your pup. I'm currently taking on some gig work to supplement my grad school aid as I finish my degree. Time is as precious as the angels by our side, and I’ll treat your pup like my own. For your peace of mind, I maintain an active Wilderness EMT certification, and my trail kit always includes canine-specific tourniquets and first aid. Flexible schedule. We prefer early, especially before a summer crowd, so that there is some safe space for everyone to run off leash and feel the freedom we all deserve. Selectively accepting a few well mannered companions. We'll keep a good eye. I have a couple spare tracking collars if that is a concern for off leash activity.
“My family was on a short vacation and didn't realize dogs were not allowed where we stayed. I contacted Laura and she accepted my boarding request quickly and even came to picked up our pup. She sent pictures and videos throughout the day and I must say our doggy had a vacation herself! Laura took her on a beautiful walk through the snow and then another to the beach. Our pup then got to play with Laura's two dogs. I cannot recommend Laura enough and I will certainly be contacting her to watch our girl next time we vist!”
