1. Tim T.
“Tim IS the best dog sitter a dog parent could ever ask for. My dog has the best time with him!! They went for tons of walks, he took them to play with other dogs, and to the dog beach so my pups had a blast!! He was also communicating with me throughout the whole day. Seriously, he is the best, your doggie would love him!!”
2. Megan R.
“Megan was WONDERFUL to work with!! She was very communicative, punctual, and great with our dogs. This was my first time using Rover and my dogs are my babies so I was so nervous to leave them with a “stranger” but Megan offered a meet and greet to make sure I was comfortable before hiring her. She was so sweet and put all of my concerns to rest during our meet and greet. We will definitely be hiring Megan again!”
3. Viktoria B.
“Viktoria was amazing with our dogs and was great with communication. We really enjoyed having her and will definitely book her again!”
4. Lisa M.
“Lisa was great with our dogs!!! We received pictures of them on walks and at home while we were away. She even stripped the bed and washed and dried her linens, just in time for our house guests. Our neighbors wanted to get her number too. They saw her walking the dogs daily and said that she was really great with them. We will definitely call on her again!”

About: I will always treat your pet as one of my own. With 20 years of dog caring experience, I am able to provide safe and comfortable environment for your pup while you’re away. I have personally been a dog owner from puppy to senior stages these last 20 years, including my adopted adult furbaby who I was told was on the streets for 3 months before his arrival to the animal shelter. My current pup is a 2 year old Maltipoo I have had since he was 10 weeks old. He’s been through obedience and agility courses and is currently being trained to be a service animal as his long term goal. Happy to provide fun casual training sessions for your pup with owner approved treats if that’s something you’d like for your pup under my care. I have dog sat a variety of breeds throughout the years. However, my main services this time around are for small to medium sized doodles who’ll need a caretaker that understands their temperament and playful energy amidst all the larger outdoor pups in the Tahoe region. I make sure to obtain all relevant information I need to know about your pup before we part ways. I also love sending updates throughout the day because I know I would want to know what my own pup is doing without me. Feel free to ask me any questions! Your pup will be able to hang out with me all day long! And have a playmate, my 2 year old furbaby Bentley, to enjoy their stay with! We may even go on some on leash adventures around the Tahoe Basin if that’s something your pup will enjoy doing. First and foremost, I would love to first meet your pup on neutral grounds (if I were to dog sit at your residence) in case there will be territorial issues by having a stranger (me!) entering their private space. This can be just outside your home on the side walk. If it’s to drop off at my place, I would like for us to have a consultation meeting to have your pup get acclimated in a new environment (my home) first before we have them return for a longer period of time for their stay. My 2 year old 13lb maltipoo is highly socialized and is a playful companion for those who also need a playmate throughout the day to exert their energy out. I have a fenced and shaded large deck where the pups can comfortable play and relax in throughout the day. Fresh water is always provided and depending on their diet, treats are also available. You are also welcome to provide their preferred treats and food items upon their drop off. Walks typically occur late morning and late afternoon — also dependent on weather. Of course if there is a particular schedule specifically for your pup, I will accommodate as much as possible for their comfort. I aim to provide the same amount of love and care for them as they would get from you!
6. Mckenna W.
“Mckenna is FANTASTIC!!! This was the first time we were leaving our little kitty for so long, (over two weeks) and I was nervous! But Mckenna set all my concerns at ease. She sent daily photos and videos, watered my plants, and left the house in perfect condition. FIVE STARS!!! I highly recommended Mckenna for all your pet sitting needs!”
7. Shea H.
“Shea stayed with our dog while we were out of the country for two weeks over the Christmas and new year holidays. Shea took Mila on so many adventures and sent us videos and photos along the way. We’re so grateful for Shea’s help!”
8. Choi Kwun Y.
“Choi was phenomenal!! Very professional, on time and stayed in contact with us throughout our evening. We would not have been able to enjoy ourselves if we didn’t know our fur babies were in good hands. Highly recommend Choi!”
9. Alena G.
“Alena was amazing with Falkor and the cats! She sent regular updates and videos. Highly recommend her if your looking for trustworthy and great with animals.”
10. Sophia L.
“Sophia was very responsive and attentive. We felt very comfortable with her staying in our home after meeting her just once before a last minute dog sitting need. She took great care of our dogs (and fish!) and our home. I hope she continues to offer dog sitting in owners homes as I look forward to having her care for our dogs and home again. Thank you so much Sophia!”

About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.
15. Erika H.
“Erica was fantastic. Took the dogs out often and left the place spotless!”
16. Jason B.
“Jason and his fiancee Leah were amazing with our dogs, including our new dog who is by no means the easiest! Will definitely use him again.”
17. Alejandra B.
About: I’ve always loved animals and have had dogs for the last 10 years. I understand the importance of feeling comfortable leaving your furry ones with someone new, so I’ll do everything to make sure they (and you as owners) feel at peace while they are under my care. Expect regular updates and the best care! I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule to accommodate walks, feedings, and any other care needs! Whether your pets like hikes or short walks, I’m up for the task! Living in Tahoe I am extremely careful about wildlife encounters and make sure pets are always safe. I am alert and equipped with deterrents to make sure no danger presents to the pets. I am flexible with any requests and understand reactive dogs need their space to feel safe.
18. Emily W.
“Emily was great to us! She was so flexible & stayed with our boys for a last minute 3-night trip. She was so respectful of our home & the boys loved her! I really appreciated all of the updates & photos too, because it was our first time leaving them. She made it so much easier for us ☺️”
19. Vivian S.
“Vivian is one amazing dog sitter! Koda loved her instantly. The responsiveness and reliability was refreshing as it hasn’t been easy to find a good sitter. She didn’t even let a crazy May snowstorm stop her from showing up! She’s also very sweet and respectful. You can tell right away that she’s a dog person and I felt like Koda was in good hands. Highly recommend!”
