About: I have had dogs and cats growing up. I have taken care of dogs for many years from different breeds to different ages for roughly about 5+ years. I am currently a dog dad of 2 (Australian Cattle Dog and Pembroke Welsh Corgi). I believe every dog deserves an adventure. I have had friends, family, and neighbors rely on me to feed, bathe, walk/run their pets and I have treated each one of them as my own. Every dog is different and have different necessities. I will do my best to accommodate your pets needs. I am willing to help with training young pups too! Your dog will not have to worry about being alone, they will get my undivided attention. As of right now, my schedule is very flexible and I am willing to work with your schedule. I typically like to take most dogs out twice a day for a walk and playtime (Morning and Afternoon). Meals are typically done at the owners request & schedule. When staying in client’s home, I also take special care to make sure everything looks as how you left it. I would typically allow the dog to sleep up in the bed with me but could definitely crate the dog if desired! I do have two dogs who are dog-friendly and willing to play with your doggo if they are also dog-friendly.
“This was our first time using Jen, and the first time we have allowed a complete stranger into our home with the dogs. We could not have been more pleased with Jen and the care she provided. 2 mature dogs and a busy puppy, for 2 full days and 1 night, and Jens first watch of a puppy. Awesome job, dogs were happy when we returned, she followed our directions to the letter, communicated frequently, sent pics. Jen is caring, friendly and funny, we enjoyed her as a person, and was great with our dogs. We will use her again and recommend her.”

“If I could leave more stars, I would. Lisa was beyond amazing. It’s always scary to leave your fur babies, but I had absolutely nothing to worry about. She sent us many pictures and I could see our babies were so happy. We have two high energy dogs and one old soul - she never complained once. We came home to a spotless house and a clean yard. She even left us a few VERY thoughtful gifts. I highly recommend her and I will be using her services in the future.”

About: I have had a lot of experience working and caring for different animals all my life. I had 3 dogs and a cat growing up as well as various other critters. I have house and pet sat for neighbors, friends, and family for the past 10 years working with dogs of all sizes and breeds as well as cats. I also volunteer at local dog shelters and rescues to help pups find their forever home as well as take them on walks and give them love in the process. I believe dogs and cats are family and take caring for them very seriously. Any day or time spent with animals is time well spent and I’ll be sure to give your kiddo the best care while their parents are gone. I currently work a schedule with 5-6 days fully off which are marked on my availability. During this time I have the full day free to ensure your pet has 24/7 care. I treat all my clients pets as I would my own and take caring for them very seriously. I will always ensure they have everything they need and are safe, healthy, and happy as can be while their parents are away.

About: My dad is a veterinarian. Since I was a kid, he taught me how to take care of small, medium, and big animals, like dogs, cats, birds, and even horses. Since I was a kid, I had dogs and I always enjoyed being around them and playing with them. I like to make a connection with my pets and have fun together. For now, I work part-time, which gives me time to spend with puppies and pets, making my days better. My availability depends on my work schedule, but I’m usually free all day on weekends. Weekdays after 6:30 p.m. The most important part for me is making sure that the pets are going to be comfortable around me and feel in a safe environment. Making sure that walks would be safe and play with them.
About: I have extensive experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of raising four Golden Retrievers—Dillon, Oakley, Willow, and Stella—and currently care for my 9-month-old kitten, Opie. I’ve provided dog walking, house sitting, and in-home pet care for many friends, coworkers, and clients, and I’m happy to provide references. My experience includes daily feeding, exercise, administering medications, and maintaining routines to keep pets happy, healthy, and comfortable. What makes me different from other sitters is my dedication to individualized care and attention. I’m skilled in puppy training, including basic obedience, socialization, and establishing routines, which helps young dogs thrive. I also have experience with senior pets, providing extra care, patience, and support to meet their unique needs. Beyond basic care, I prioritize building trust with pets, keeping open communication with owners, and maintaining a safe, clean, and happy home environment. With me, your pets are loved, supported, and cared for as if they were my own. Since I’m retired, my schedule is extremely flexible, which makes pet care a perfect fit for my daily and weekly routine. I recently moved to Gardnerville and want to settle in a bit before welcoming a new dog of my own. In the meantime, I truly miss having a dog to care for, play with, and take on walks—house and pet sitting allows me to share my love and attention with furry friends while giving owners peace of mind. When caring for pets in a client’s home, their safety and well-being are my top priorities. I treat each home and pet with the utmost respect, following all instructions carefully and maintaining routines to ensure pets feel secure and comfortable. I never have visitors during a sit and keep open, regular communication with owners, providing updates and addressing any concerns promptly. My goal is to create a calm, loving, and safe environment where pets are happy, cared for, and owners can enjoy complete peace of mind while away.
“Gabriel was absolutely incredible. We’ve had bad luck in the past when it comes to leaving our two fur babies for vacation, work or otherwise. Gabriel was so accommodating and communicative, it really helped our separation anxiety. Our puppies absolutely love him and all the walks and cuddles he provides. We can’t thank him enough for allowing us to break away for a while.”

“Kara stayed with our boys for a week over the holidays. They fell in love with her, and she did a great job looking after them and our house. We would absolutely recommend her and book her again.”

Our lab Poppy loves other dogs and will keep them entertained, loves to play and cuddle.
