About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life- from cats and dogs, to hedgehogs and birds. My cat had kittens when I was in 2nd grade and since then I have loved all aspects of pet care and find it extremely rewarding. Molly is a boston terrier mix and requires at least an hour of exercise each day. You'll see me walking, running or biking Molly along our local trails everyday and your dog can join us! If your dog requires substantial exercise we're the sitters for you. Because I work only several hours at a time as a personal trainer, I am in and out of the house often during the weekdays, so if you're looking for an alternate to doggie daycare while you're at work we could be a great fit. I have a flexible work schedule with large blocks of time free in the middle of the day, which is a perfect time to give your pup a walk break! About: Aside from having pets all my life, I worked in a vet office as a Registered Vet Tech for 8 years until deciding to be a stay at home mom with my two children. We currently have two dogs of our own that are very social and friendly “Betty” the lab and “June” the Boston/Pug. We are stay at home, homeschooling family that will be able to offer your pet lots of love, kindness, play time, and snuggles. All pets will be given a predictable routine and walks if desired. Since I’m a stay at home mom, I am always there to care for your pets. They will be given potty breaks at a minimum of every 2 hours. I have a fenced yard, lots of green grass and shade to stretch those legs and burn energy. My two playful dogs love the company and are always willing to make new friends. For cats, I do prefer to kennel them but they will have lots of opportunities to come out for play and affection. I feel this is the safest option for them. All pets are kept indoors except for play and potty time (cats are always kept indoors).

About: Hi! I am a full time Gardnerville resident and would love to meet your furry friend. I am experienced with senior dogs and am very patient with our older friends who need a little more patience and tlc. But I also love a rambunctious youngster and would love to take your little one on fun hikes, walks or just a leisurely stroll around your neighborhood. I am available for walk visits, feeding visits or any visit your pet may need, even if it's just some love and a belly rub. I will also take small dogs into my home for overnight stays provided they are crate trained. I am available seven days a week. I work 3 mornings out of the home, but am only gone for approximately 2 hours. My husband is home most of those times and can look after your little one while I am gone in case any issues were to arise during my absence. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room for your bestie to run around and enjoy the outdoors. There are no other pets in my home and if I am watching your pet, he/she will be the only animal in my home during that time. If a pet is staying overnight, they will need to be crated. I do not allow pets to sleep in my bed, but they can sleep in the bedroom with me and my husband if that makes them more comfortable.

I strongly believe in the pack leader philosophy on dog behavior, and that lack of exercise is the number one cause of unwanted behavior. Your dog will get plenty of love and exercise here! I am happy to help with basic obedience (loose leash walking, thresholds, recall, sit, stay and place) I’m an RN but I only take new dogs when I’m not working at the hospital so I can be with them all day long. About: Hi there! My name is Haley! I am a wife and mother and have been a long time animal lover since I was a little girl. I have always had the biggest passion for animals, before I even understood what that meant! I have pet-sat previously and I haven't met a dog that I haven't had an incredible connection with! I am currently a stay at home mom with my 2 year old son, who also LOVES dogs! We spend so much of our time outside, going on walks and getting energy out at the park - I would love to be your Pet Sitter and help out any way that I can! Our schedule is pretty consistent! In my house, we are either going for a walk when it's cool outside, playing in our fenced backyard with sprinklers and a doggy pool, or playing at the park and getting all of our energy out - or all of the above in one day! Being outside is our jam! I treat all animals with massive love and respect, they will get all of the attention they need in my care! The safety and happiness of your dog will be my #1 priority!
