About: I have been a dog owner for more than 18 years and I've been around cats and dogs my whole life. My partner and I, along with our 4-year-old Pyrenees mix, provide a safe, loving space with tons of room to run, and heaps of belly rubs. I'm currently working part time as a property manager on a 50 acre estate. My partner works from home. So one or both of us is around. We both take our dog for a long hike/bike/one wheel ride every evening that we would love to take your buddy with us. If I have take your dog to work I have a Tacoma with a camper shell that I bring Stevie in. It's safe and lockable so you can be assured that your fur baby is safe. We live in a single family home with two floors outside the Meyers roundabout. We allow dogs on couches, beds and have indoor and outdoor dog beds. We are a block away from miles of trails down to the Truckee river. Also I love running my dog Stevie with my one wheel around paradise park. Which is around 4 miles round trip. So if your dog needs lots of running and is safe on or off leash Ive got the toy for them. When not walking or riding we have a large fenced backyard (especially for Tahoe). So they won't be couped up inside. Please let us know what your best friend needs and we'll do our best to accommodate.

About: I have cared for animals since I was a child. My mother is an art teacher and we had an eclectic selection of mammals and reptiles that were a part of our family. I’ve also done dog walking, boarding and in home care for friends, family, and clients for 12 years now. I’ve done in home care for as long as 4 months at a time for world traveling pet owners. I’m currently working part time locally on weekends and have availability on weekdays. Overnight care is available on Friday nights but work the following day at 8am. Each animal and their respective routine is different. I will always defer to owner established routines and behaviors. My aim is for the pets schedule to be maintained to minimize separation anxiety and engage in exercise and play to create a bond and be someone they are excited to see. Food, feeding times and medications are all per the established and agreed upon schedule.

About: I have had dogs most of my life from puppies to adult dogs. I can help potty train, take your dog for walks, play fetch, administer medication, and more! I'm currently working part time with a flexible schedule. Reach out to me and we can confirm dates that work for both of us! I'm typically around each day of the week. I will care for your pets like they're my own, following your routine. I can come to or stay at your house. You will walk me through the needs and routine of your pet and I can provide updated photos of our time together!

About: I’ve been taking care of pets for family and friends since I was about 18. That has blossomed into me getting to care for so many new families in and around the tahoe basin. I can watch pets at my home but prefer to do it at theirs, where I find they’re the most comfortable. My favorite part of pet sitting is getting to take them outside for walks and hikes. during the fall and spring months I usually have time off between my seasonal jobs. I typically go back to work around mid December until April, and June thru October. I work 4 days a week, leaving me plenty of time with your pets! I have a large fenced backyard and live a 2 minute walk from the river. We’ve got great trails in and around my neighborhood that I love to walk dogs on. I can have a crate set up anywhere in the house for pets that require that.

“Therese was wonderful! I will definitely book her again. My dog Chloe loved her (I could tell by the way she interacted with Therese when I returned). They went on walks and hikes, and would I receive photos their adventures (always nice to see when you’re away from your pets). Therese also took care of our three indoor cats, who took fondly to her. Two of them were very shy, but Therese won them over. She’s very responsible. I never had to worry about our pets or the house. She watered all our plants (indoor and outdoor), and collected our mail. Upon our return, the house was clean, the towels were washed, and the bed was made with fresh sheets. It was so nice to come home to a clean house and our happy, safe pets after a long trip. I highly recommend Therese. She’s a natural animal person (animals can sense that), and she’ll take good care of them, and well as your home.”

About: I have had several dogs growing up. Walked, fed, trained, and administered medication to my own dogs and family and friends. I am caring and attentive to all their needs. I currently work remotely, part time so my schedule is very flexible to be able to care for your animals whenever time works best for you. I am very attentive, caring, and open to many different animals and needs. I can also bring in mail, water plants or anything else you might need while you are away.

About: I've had pets my entire life, including both dogs and cats. I've had puppies and taken care of senior animals including giving medicine and extra frequent care. I mostly work from home and have a flexible schedule. I'm most available mornings and evenings, but can easily adjust my daytime schedule to be with your pet! I have a large fenced in back yard for your dog to explore and play. We recently lost our dog to cancer so no other animals in the house, but plenty of toys and beds for your pup to use. I am very pro-leash in public spaces, having had an anxious and reactive dog, leashes can make social situations a lot less scary! I also have a solid list of less crowded Tahoe trails to provide a more relaxing outdoor experience. Or, if your pup is a social butterfly, we can hit up more public hikes, parks, and beaches.
