About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my entire life, which means caring for four-legged family members is second nature to me. As my family and friend’s resident dog sitter, I have hands on experience with pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities from high energy giants to tiny couch potatoes. Pet care fits seamlessly into my day, allowing me to offer reliable windows for walks and drop-ins. My 'portable' office also makes me a great fit for house sitting, as I can work right from your home and keep your pet company. Weekends are equally open and flexible for whatever your pet needs! I believe the best environment for a pet is one that closely mirrors their usual routine. Whether I am house sitting or dropping in, I strictly follow your specific guidelines for feeding and house rules. During house sittings and drop-ins, I respect your home as if it were my own—keeping things clean, secure, and locked up. When we are out on walks, your dog will always be kept on a secure, standard leash, and I maintain a strict 'no greeting' policy with unfamiliar dogs to prevent any unpredictable interactions. I am deeply observant of body language to ensure your pet is happy, comfortable, and never stressed. I also believe that communication builds trust, so you can always expect timely photo updates and detailed Rover cards after every visit!

About: Growing up with animals gave me a special appreciation and gratitude for all fur babies. I’ve cared for many animals throughout my life. I even lived on an animal sanctuary for a year and half tending to rescued farm animals. At home we have a three friendly and happy cheweenies, all the more to guarantee your pup will be worn out and feel at home ◡̈ I currently work remotely full time from home, therefore I have an open schedule. I’m an earlier riser 6:30am and hit the pillow around 9:30/10pm. I’m available and happily willing to take care of your fur babies within the comforts of their own home. Whether they’re just needing a few pets, feedings, plays, cuddles, beach visits or hikes I’m your guy.

About: I've owned Australian Cattle Dogs (red/blue heelers) my entire life. My beloved most recent 12 year old Red Heeler named Austin passed away last summer. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. If your dog cannot be left alone for a few hours at a time you'll need to look elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access. I would prefer to care for dogs in my home but open to house sitting also.

About: Hello! I’m a lifetime dog owner. I have two 10 year old dogs Arcata and Izzy and one girlfriend Chelcee. The four of us love to hike, walk, go backpacking, camping or just hang at the house. We would be happy to have another fur ball or two join our adventures. Or perhaps just be a couch potato like our dog Izzy. Whatever they prefer you can be sure we will provide a safe and fun environment. We have a large dog door and a decent sized clean backyard where our dogs love to sun bathe. I work from home giving me the availability to be present with all the fur babies. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets with a stranger. I’m usually doing homework in our small cozy home where I can be present with our guest(s) at all times. Our backyard is fenced in with a large dog door. We keep a clean tidy home with a fun easy going atmosphere. Most days this includes a walk or two. Followed by treat time. All dogs will be fed separately.

About: Hello! I'm Lauren and I absolutely LOVE getting to spend time with dogs and cats, as I miss having my own. I'm experienced with caring for dogs with separation anxiety, dogs and cats that need medication/special treatment, as well as cats and dogs with disabilities. I can check on animals many times in the day, host pets at my house (preferred) and keep pets overnight. I live with my boyfriend, Chase who sometimes helps me with walks when I have multiple dogs. We have a small, short fenced yard for dogs to run around in. My home is dog and cat safe, where they will not be able to get into any plants, food, or objects that would be harmful. In the client's home, I follow normal protocol that owners use. I always pick up poop in the yard and if staying multiple nights at the owners home, I will take out trash, do my dishes, and clean as necessary (basically treat it like an Airbnb!)

About: I have been a dog owner for more than 18 years and I've been around cats and dogs my whole life. My partner and I, along with our 4-year-old Pyrenees mix, provide a safe, loving space with tons of room to run, and heaps of belly rubs. I'm currently working part time as a property manager on a 50 acre estate. My partner works from home. So one or both of us is around. We both take our dog for a long hike/bike/one wheel ride every evening that we would love to take your buddy with us. If I have take your dog to work I have a Tacoma with a camper shell that I bring Stevie in. It's safe and lockable so you can be assured that your fur baby is safe. We live in a single family home with two floors outside the Meyers roundabout. We allow dogs on couches, beds and have indoor and outdoor dog beds. We are a block away from miles of trails down to the Truckee river. Also I love running my dog Stevie with my one wheel around paradise park. Which is around 4 miles round trip. So if your dog needs lots of running and is safe on or off leash Ive got the toy for them. When not walking or riding we have a large fenced backyard (especially for Tahoe). So they won't be couped up inside. Please let us know what your best friend needs and we'll do our best to accommodate.
