My love for animals follows me wherever I go: from guiding mule rides in the Grand Canyon to fostering kittens while rock climbing in West Virginia - the animals always seem to find me! I was born and raised with horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents and reptiles. This eclectic group taught me a lot about caring for and acknowledging each animals unique needs and characteristics. I've cared for sensitive, young, old, special needs and difficult dogs over the years, and know some require more patience and attention than others. Giving medicine, preparing special diets, providing mentally stimulating activity and preventing dogs from over exertion after surgery are all tasks I've done as a dedicated pet owner for a variety of small and large dog breeds.
