About: I have owned a dog years ago. Miss having them around. I am only a dog aunt now. I am very active and love walks, runs, playing on the beach. I am working half days. I work 8-12 M-F. I usually ride bikes, walks, or hike after work. Pretty active lifestyle. Available on weekends full time. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time and enrichment

About: My fiance and I have a Bulldog Lab mix with epilepsy named Asparagus. Seizures with a 90+ dog are difficult, but I do what I need to to make sure he is comfortable and not a danger to himself. My life long friend, Dodger, passed away at 15 this last year. She passed in my arms, after about a year of doing everything we possibly could to keep her comfortable, including administering ointments and frequent diaper changes. I love animals more than I love people and have been caring for all sorts since I was very young. I also have experience with cats, chinchillas, and an assortment of reptiles, rodents, and amphibians. My schedule is very flexible, which is great because I can make room for all the lovely animals out there! I am a bartender around town, but this never takes up full days. I am attentive and caring. I am also very observant and great at reading situations, whether that be with the environment or other animals or needs more specific to your pet.

This was my first time leaving my new rescue pup who is very shy, he won’t let many people even get close to him and Shane sent me a video of them cuddling on the couch. ❤️ Shane was so kind and gentle with my pup. I’m so grateful how awesome it worked out. Plus, his two dogs are very chill and well behaved which was also great for my pup to play with them. Can't recommend Shane enough! There's more, his location is also amazing for the dogs because it’s far from any busy streets and right by a trailhead. 🙌”

Laura and her husband were nice and welcoming to host my senior dog for 3 nights. She was professional and took very good care of him. Laura also has a dog and made sure they met properly. Lauren was an amazing sitter, and I would highly recommend her! She responded quickly to a very last-minute request for overnight dog boarding and was accommodating with drop off and pickup times. She was great with our dog, Stacy's, energy level and we greatly appreciated the multiple updates, photos and Lauren taking Stacy out with her on some adventures.
We had 5 day family vacation and couldn’t take our 1.5 year old golden, Monty. Melissa was wonderful with Monty! She kept me updated throughout his stay with photos and videos, and communicated really well the whole time. It was clear he was in great hands. Raluca was amazing! This is our first time boarding our miniature dachshund, so we were definitely nervous about it beforehand. Raluca sent us constant updates with our pup’s photos/videos, which really helped with my separation anxiety. When it’s time to pick up, Raluca got everything packed and ready to go, and she even offered to moved the cage into our trunk. Our dog soufflé loved her stay and we can’t recommend Raluca enough.
Lara was amazing! She was incredibly attentive to my dog’s needs, made sure she got plenty of exercise (even in a snow storm!), and made her feel completely at home. She didn’t want to leave when we picked her up! Your critters are in good hands with Lara and we’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future.
Megan did an amazing job watching our pup Ziti while we were on vacation in Lake Tahoe. He had so much fun with her, her family and their pup. She was great about communicating and sending updates/pictures and even let my son go visit him. I would definitely recommend her and know Ziti will be excited to stay there again on our next visit.
