Emily was a lifesaver during our trip to Lake Tahoe. We have a new rescue dog and although she is very sweet, she can be very nervous around new people and new environments. Emily was great kept us updated with pictures of her throughout the day. She also went above and beyond giving me tips and helpful information on dog-friendly beaches around the south lake. 5 stars for Emily!
Emily was fantastic! She was flexible with pick up and drop off, sent frequent updates, took my pup on walks/little adventures, excellent communication - 5 stars! Will definitely use again.
Emily provides a safe and comfortable environment for our pup plus a nice backyard to play in. We can always tell how well our pup is cared for when we make a return visit and he runs to the front door wagging his tail. Great communication and sharing of updates, definitely will use her again when we visit South Tahoe.

emily was amazing! our nervous pup walked right into her house and gave her little hand kisses which is always a great sign. emily was super communicative and sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. she wanted to keep the pups on the same routine that they have at home which was so sweet. would book with her again when we’re back in the tahoe area.

Schedule
I mostly work from home and have a flexible schedule. I'm most available mornings and evenings, but can easily adjust my daytime schedule to be with your pet!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced in back yard for your dog to explore and play. I recently lost my dog to cancer so no other animals in the house, but plenty of toys and beds for your pup to use. I am very pro-leash in public spaces, having had an anxious and reactive dog, leashes can make social situations a lot less scary! I also have a solid list of less-crowded Tahoe trails to provide a more relaxing outdoor experience. Or, if your pup is a social butterfly, we can hit up more public hikes, parks, and beaches.
A typical day
Go on walks around the neighborhood, or go on a hike in the forest, or to the river or lake for a swim! Or just play fetch in our fenced in yard :)
