Hi, I’m AJ! I’ve been around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all kinds. I previously ran my own dog-sitting and walking business and also worked with Rover in Europe, caring for many repeat clients. (Unfortunately, those reviews don’t transfer here—but you can check out my photos to see the dogs I’ve worked with!) Your dog will get lots of attention, exercise, and love while staying with me. We go on daily walks, explore trails, and spend plenty of time outdoors—including trips to the beach when possible. I have a comfortable, pet-friendly home with a patio where dogs can relax and feel at ease. I’m experienced with administering medication, handling different energy levels, and basic training, so your dog will be in capable hands. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for at all times.

Armand is very nice! Leaving the dog at his house is a good option. It's a good place if you go skiing.
We had a great experience with AJ watching both of our dogs. He was reliable, very communicative, and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us real peace of mind. Our dogs were clearly well cared for, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We would absolutely use him again and highly recommend him to others.
Luna had a great stay with Armand! She was very comfortable there and got out on plenty of walks. Armand was great to work with and very communicative! Already planning Luna’s next stay with him. Would definitely recommend!
I booked a daycare for Toffee when I went for dinner! She had a blast playing in the yard with the sitter’s other dog. She came home happy and tired, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The sitter was friendly and communicative, and I felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care. Would definitely book again!

I follow your instructions carefully, keep to your pet’s normal routine, and send regular updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Whether in your home or mine, my priority is building trust — with both you and your pet — so they feel happy, secure, and cared for at all times.

A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, active, and loved. We’ll start with morning walks and playtime to get their energy out. During the day, I like to mix in plenty of attention — whether that’s fetch, tug-of-war, a jog, or just some cuddle time depending on your pet’s personality. If your dog enjoys the outdoors, we explore Tahoe’s beautiful trails, parks, or safe neighborhood walks. For senior pets or those who prefer a calmer pace, I’ll keep it cozy with gentle walks, brushing, and plenty of affection. Every day ends with your pet feeling cared for, exercised, and relaxed — like they’re truly part of the family.
