Attentive care, love and affection.
Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through.

Gabriel was wonderful to work with! I felt comfortable leaving my beloved dog with him. He was flexible and good at communicating. I would have him dog sit for Blaze again.
Gabriel was quick to respond and accommodating. I have an older reactive dog and Gabriel’s house was the perfect getaway. Lots of yard and she was welcomed on the couch/bed. Will be booking again.
Gabriel was fantastic with Maple and kept us well in the loop!!
Gabriel watched my Shepherd mix for 4days. He was easy to communicate with and sent updates. He has a lovely fenced yard, dog friendly home, and is very attentive with being present for my dog. He was available for my requested pickup and drop off times and my dog had very smooth transitions. I would absolutely book with Gabriel again.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Gabriel! He took such incredible care of our two dogs, Kiki and Arlo, while we were out of town. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Gabriel went above and beyond—he sent us pictures and even a video while we were away, which meant so much to us. It was clear our pups were not only well cared for, but truly loved and spoiled! Kiki and Arlo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly adored. It’s not easy to find someone you can fully trust with your pets, but Gabriel exceeded every expectation. We will absolutely be using him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who treats your pets like their own!

Schedule
I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time.

Safety, trust & environment
My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.
A typical day
Lots of scratches first thing and a slow morning rise with coffee and then some good sniffs on a quiet safe walk before most people wake up. Water breaks and critter watching. Short drives with the window down if we are going somewhere. Typical house chores and then maybe watch a little tv and then most importantly a good nap. Not much goes on here so it’s easy going. No visitors or people stopping by. Quiet and safe just the way I like it.
