About: I’m an experienced house and pet sitter with several years of caring for homes and animals for friends, family, and neighbors. I also have pets of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and loving looking after them. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or anything in between, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and keep your home safe, clean, and cared for while you’re away. I work a seasonal job with a flexible schedule, and I’m consistently available in the mornings and evenings. I can also adjust my hours as needed with notice, especially for overnight stays or routine care. I’m unable to host pets in my home, but I’m happy to care for them whether it’s daily visits, overnight stays, or vacation coverage, I’m here to help.

About: Hello! I’m a lifetime dog owner. I have two 10 year old dogs Arcata and Izzy and one girlfriend Chelcee. The four of us love to hike, walk, go backpacking, camping or just hang at the house. We would be happy to have another fur ball or two join our adventures. Or perhaps just be a couch potato like our dog Izzy. Whatever they prefer you can be sure we will provide a safe and fun environment. We have a large dog door and a decent sized clean backyard where our dogs love to sun bathe. I work from home giving me the availability to be present with all the fur babies. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets with a stranger. I will do everything I can to make sure your pet has a great time. Please reach out with any of your questions or concerns. Thanks! I’m a full-time online student working two flexible hour jobs. I’m usually doing homework in our small cozy home where I can be present with our guest(s) at all times. Our backyard is fenced in with a large dog door. We keep a clean tidy home with a fun easy going atmosphere. Most days this includes a walk or two. Followed by treat time. All dogs will be fed separately.
“Mindy is incredible!! She is reliable, kind, patient, and so much more. She loves our dog and he loves her. Mindy takes our boy on fun adventures and perfectly wears him out. Even our cat who is hesitant to trust people seems to really like her. It is always such a relief to know that our animals are being cared for by someone so incredible while we are away.”

About: Hello! I'm Lauren and I absolutely LOVE getting to spend time with dogs and cats, as I miss having my own. I'm experienced with caring for dogs with separation anxiety, dogs and cats that need medication/special treatment, as well as cats and dogs with disabilities. I'm a patient caregiver and make sure every pet gets lots of love and play. Thanks so much for checking out my profile! I'm currently unemployed. Until then I have open availability! I can check on animals many times in the day, host pets at my house (preferred) and keep pets overnight. I live with my boyfriend, Chase who sometimes helps me with walks when I have multiple dogs. We have a small, short fenced yard for dogs to run around in. My home is dog and cat safe, where they will not be able to get into any plants, food, or objects that would be harmful. In the client's home, I follow normal protocol that owners use. I always pick up poop in the yard and if staying multiple nights at the owners home, I will take out trash, do my dishes, and clean as necessary (basically treat it like an Airbnb!)

“Alena is fantastic! We were headed to Dry Tortugas Park in the Florida Keyes for the day and couldn't take our dog "JoJo" with us. The previous day she suggested a meet & greet (which I didn't even know was a "thing"). JoJo connected with her right away. And from the pictures she sent, JoJo is smiling and happy. I would definitely recommend her and would hire her again.”

About: What I would say sets me apart from other walkers/sitters, is my care and attention to each dog’s unique needs. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and adjust my care style accordingly. I have always had a passion for animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is extremely flexible! I am available almost everyday, all day to care for your pups! I just recently moved up to South Lake for college and am living in the dorms, so I’m trying to save up some extra money doing what I love! On walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy. I always stay alert to surroundings, and avoid busy or unsafe areas. I always make sure to bring water on longer walks, watch for signs of tiredness or overheating, and give them time to sniff and explore. I also reinforce good leash behavior with gentle guidance and positive encouragement. Each walk is a mix of exercise, care, and fun.

About: I have taken care of many different dogs and cats over the years and always go above and beyond to make them and their parents happy. I have worked with small and large dogs, one to three dogs at once, old and puppies. I love animals so much and watching them is always the best part of my day! I have my own business so I am able to leave and walk a dog whenever I need to! When doing doggy day care or boarding I will often bring the pup with me to the gallery so it can hang out. I am very attentive and any time I am walking a dog I make sure to be very aware of our surroundings. Even when I let them out in a backyard I make sure to keep an eye on them. I always make sure everything is okay before I leave (checking there’s no food out, making sure they have enough water, triple checking there’s door is closed and locked!)
About: My love for animals follows me wherever I go: from guiding mule rides in the Grand Canyon to fostering kittens while rock climbing in West Virginia - the animals always seem to find me! I was born and raised with horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents and reptiles. This eclectic group taught me a lot about caring for and acknowledging each animals unique needs and characteristics. I've cared for sensitive, young, old, special needs and difficult dogs over the years, and know some require more patience and attention than others. Giving medicine, preparing special diets, providing mentally stimulating activity and preventing dogs from over exertion after surgery are all tasks I've done as a dedicated pet owner for a variety of small and large dog breeds. I'm currently a full-time student at LTCC and work for the Wilderness Education and Outdoor Leadership AA Degree Program. My schedule is flexible and I can work from home part time. I can take an hour break often to check in on pets. I care for pets in clients' homes and can take them out on adventures when appropriate. I often have dogs come visit my house on a field trip. I live near Reagan Beach and enjoy hiking the local trails. Typically go for 3 mile hikes for about an hour in the morning or afternoon.
“Tim did an incredible job taking care of my dog and cat! He truly is a dog whisperer. Dixie is shy and has never warmed up to anyone expect myself and close family but she loved Tim after just a few visits! Highly recommend him for all your pet walking and sitting. You won’t be disappointed!”

About: I have 10+ years of experience caring for a variety of pets, so your pet will get 10/10 care! I grew up caring for my family’s very large Bernese Mountain dog, and slightly smaller German Shepard mix. I know how to handle large dogs and love spending time with them! I’ve been a pet sitter for smaller dogs in past and adore them just as much. I love pets and I can’t wait to meet yours 🐾💗 I am a student athlete, so during the day I have practice and classes, but I can spend time with your pet in between and can stay overnight. My weekends are completely free if your pet needs a little extra play time or cuddles! My dogs at home are a little mischievous, so I’m extra diligent about locking doors, checking windows and keeping food off of the counters 😁! Above all, I love pets so I’ll make sure to keep them safe!

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my entire life, which means caring for four-legged family members is second nature to me. As my family and friend’s resident dog sitter, I have hands on experience with pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities from high energy giants to tiny couch potatoes. I am passionate about keeping dogs active and healthy, so you can count on me to provide plenty of outdoor time and engaging walks. I look forward to meeting your furry friend and providing them with a safe, fun, and loving environment while you're away! As a full-time remote worker, my schedule is highly flexible! Pet care fits seamlessly into my day, allowing me to offer reliable windows for walks and drop-ins. My 'portable' office also makes me a great fit for house sitting, as I can work right from your home and keep your pet company. Weekends are equally open and flexible for whatever your pet needs! I believe the best environment for a pet is one that closely mirrors their usual routine. Whether I am house sitting or dropping in, I strictly follow your specific guidelines for feeding and house rules. During house sittings and drop-ins, I respect your home as if it were my own—keeping things clean, secure, and locked up. When we are out on walks, your dog will always be kept on a secure, standard leash, and I maintain a strict 'no greeting' policy with unfamiliar dogs to prevent any unpredictable interactions. I am deeply observant of body language to ensure your pet is happy, comfortable, and never stressed. I also believe that communication builds trust, so you can always expect timely photo updates and detailed Rover cards after every visit!

Expect regular updates and the best care! I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule to accommodate walks, feedings, and any other care needs! Whether your pets like hikes or short walks, I’m up for the task! Living in Tahoe I am extremely careful about wildlife encounters and make sure pets are always safe. Unbelievable. Last minute request and she was down to watch my Theo. He was being tough to deal with and she took it in stride. They took a nice walk and drive and he calmed down. I was able to take some time for myself for an hour ish and it was heaven. Highly recommend Lauren!!

Matt is amazing. I have two dogs, and one can be a bit apprehensive of new people. He warmed up to Matt instantly. Matt instinctively knew to sit down and let my dog come to him when my dog was anxiously barking. My dog immediately stopped barking and went to Matt where he received love, affection, and confirmation that Matt was a safe person. They had a great walk. We'll explore using Matt for house sitting in the future as schedules permit.

Ashley is amazing! When I first started using her services, she was willing to join me for a meet and greet walk and seemed genuinely interested in our walking routine. She’s picked up and walked my two kids a few times now and they just love her and are very comfortable with her. Ashley is great with details and she writes the best walking stories!
