Dog Walking South Lake Tahoe

About: I have owned a dog years ago. Miss having them around. I am only a dog aunt now. I am very active and love walks, runs, playing on the beach. I currently am not working and have more availability until August 19th. Starting then, I will be unavailable 7:30-3 Monday-Friday. I enjoy taking dogs for a walk in the morning and evening time. I live a pretty active lifestyle. I don’t mind taking your dog for a hike. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time and enrichment

I am deeply observant of body language to ensure your pet is happy, comfortable, and never stressed. I also believe that communication builds trust, so you can always expect timely photo updates and detailed Rover cards after every visit!

About: I really enjoy spending time playing with animals and it helps me connect with them fast. Even the puppies, more energetic or a little naughty pets are no trouble for me, I stay patient and handle them with ease. So my work schedule is a part-time so I have planty of free time to take care of dogs and cats, which I absolutely love! I take care of dogs in their natural environment, their home, where they feel most comfortable and at ease while their owners are away :)

About: I'm taking a hiatus from full time work so I have plenty of time to devote to your dog(s). I love long walks, hikes, and trail runs, so happy to accommodate different activity levels. I don't have any pets right now, so yours will get my full attention. My gal Eli crossed the rainbow bridge this past spring and I'm not ready for another yet, but I miss doggo time. Experienced with senior care, mobility challenged dogs, and administering medication. I currently work very part time (Friday and Saturday afternoons, occasional other days), so I have plenty of time to devote to your pet. I miss daily walks! I have a fenced in back yard. Both front and back entrances have 4-5 stairs to the door, can carry dogs up to 65 lbs or assist. There aren't any other pets in the house so yours will have it all as a staycation. Quiet neighborhood for walks, and close driving distance to trails for hikes if desired.

About: Been around dogs my whole life. Fast forward to when I went off to college, since 2014 I’ve been dog sitting whether it’s daily walks or overnight stays with all types of dogs. Through my own dog’s experience , I’ve cultivated a caring, dependable, attentive way with animals that my friends have put full trust in and know their pets are taken care of worry free when they’re with me. About: My love for animals follows me wherever I go: from guiding mule rides in the Grand Canyon to fostering kittens while rock climbing in West Virginia - the animals always seem to find me! I was born and raised with horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents and reptiles. This eclectic group taught me a lot about caring for and acknowledging each animals unique needs and characteristics. I've cared for sensitive, young, old, special needs and difficult dogs over the years, and know some require more patience and attention than others. Giving medicine, preparing special diets, providing mentally stimulating activity and preventing dogs from over exertion after surgery are all tasks I've done as a dedicated pet owner for a variety of small and large dog breeds. I'm currently a full-time student at LTCC and work for the Wilderness Education and Outdoor Leadership AA Degree Program. My schedule is flexible and I can work from home part time. I can take an hour break often to check in on pets. I care for pets in clients' homes and can take them out on adventures when appropriate. I often have dogs come visit my house on a field trip. I live near Reagan Beach and enjoy hiking the local trails. Typically go for 3 mile hikes for about an hour in the morning or afternoon.

I am interested in boarding your dog while you enjoy Lake Tahoe. I live near the lake so there will be a daily visits walking along the shores.
