“Adam was an exceptionally caring, knowledgeable and attentive host for our dogs. We booked an afternoon for doggie daycare on a whim to go kayaking in Tahoe, and so glad we did! We had never used Rover, and not being from the area we weren't sure what to expect. Adam took our dogs to a little stream nearby, sent us amazing pictures, and was very communicative the entire time. His resident dog, Stevie, is the epitome of rockstar doggie host! If you're nearby and can book with Adam, you will not regret it. Having peace of mind knowing our fur children were so well-taken care of with such positive energy and warm demeanor was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you, Adam!”

“Momo had an enjoyable weekend with Steph and her canine companions. She proved to be an invaluable resource in such short notice. I wholeheartedly recommend her services. I will def rebook her when i return to Tahoe with Momo.”

“Teeda and her husband did an amazing job taking care of auggie. She was very responsive, communicative, sent numerous pictures throughout the day, and flexible with a change in plans. Auggie loved going with her and came back happy and tired. Will book her again for our next ski trip!”

“Tim T. is amazing! He got us out of a real bind. We were away from home for a wedding. We found out the day before the wedding that we could not leave our dogs in our hotel room. By some miracle, Tim happened to be available with less than a day notice. He picked up our dogs at the hotel. Usually one of our dogs takes a while to warm up to new people. We were nervous but Tim is some sort of dog whisperer! In no time at all, the dogs were in his car and off for a day of fun. They spent the day taking a drive, then a hike, and then relaxing in the lap of luxury at Tim's house. We got photos throughout the day and it was obvious that Tim was the dogs' new favorite person. We were able to enjoy the wedding stress free. Tim returned the dogs to us late at night. It couldn't have been easier. Our only regret is that we live too far away to make Tim our regular sitter. If he's available, don't hesitate! We'd give Tim more stars if we could!”

“Raluca took great care of our dog Siggy while we hit the slopes. Our dog is very energetic and she handled him with care making sure he got plenty of walks and was not left unattended. Will use her anytime we are in Tahoe again!! Happy holidays”

About: Hi! I’ve been a dog sitter for over 8 years. I’ve cared for animals my entire life. Friends and neighbors often rely on me to care for their dog from small to large. I take many walks throughout the day and have a large fenced in yard so your pup will get plenty of exercise! I work remote and have the flexibility needed to care full time for dogs. I live in a large home with a fenced in yard. I have plenty of space for overnight pets. Wirh a large yard and close to walking trails, your pup will have plenty of play time.
“Anette was the best with Biscuit! We were worried about Biscuit being too energetic but Anette just knew how to handle him. Biscuit came back to us super happy. Definitely will leave Biscuit with Anette again, if she’ll have us, on our trips to Tahoe!”

“I was anxious leaving Bodie with a new sitter, but from the start, Melissa was very welcoming. Her pup Obi was also a complete sweetheart, so Bodie warmed up quicker than expected and had such fun dayventures. If I’m back in the area I would definitely follow up with Melissa again for a future visit.”

About: I've had pets my entire life, including both dogs and cats. I've had puppies and taken care of senior animals including giving medicine and extra frequent care. I mostly work from home and have a flexible schedule. I'm most available mornings and evenings, but can easily adjust my daytime schedule to be with your pet! I have a large fenced in back yard for your dog to explore and play. We recently lost our dog to cancer so no other animals in the house, but plenty of toys and beds for your pup to use. I am very pro-leash in public spaces, having had an anxious and reactive dog, leashes can make social situations a lot less scary! I also have a solid list of less crowded Tahoe trails to provide a more relaxing outdoor experience. Or, if your pup is a social butterfly, we can hit up more public hikes, parks, and beaches.
“Kerri was fantastic with my senior dog, Lola. These days, Lola often has anxiety, but Kerri put her right at ease. Lola also has emergency medication, which fortunately didn't need to be used, but I felt confident that Kerrie could handle it. I highly recommend Kerri!”

“Diane was excellent. She's warm and inviting and has a lovely home. She came to my aid on Christmas Day without hesitation and took my little guy for the day when my regular sitter called out last minute. I couldn't be more grateful for her care of Colbert, thank you Diane, I'll definitely reach back whenever I'm in South Lake Tahoe! Matthew”

“Lara was the best! She looked after my two dogs and even washed one of them (a doodle) as she got incredibly dirty. Thank you Lara for your patience and kindness to my dogs. I know they were a handful :)”

“Caitlin and her husband took great care of my jack russell Jackie while we were skiing for the day. They send me updates during the day and were flexible with the pick up time, as we were coming back from the mountains. Caitlin was great at communicating and ultimately my dog did not get along with hers, they made sure to keep them separate to ensure both pups were happy. I highly recommend them. Thank you!”
