“I booked a daycare for Toffee when I went for dinner! She had a blast playing in the yard with the sitter’s other dog. She came home happy and tired, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The sitter was friendly and communicative, and I felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care. Would definitely book again!”

“Lauren was a life saver with a last-minute booking. She responded quickly and was very communicative throughout the booking. Not only was she extremely friendly and professional, but she also went above and beyond with treats and walks to the beach. She was very thorough with our instructions in the app and asked a number of questions to ensure he would have the best time. When we came to pick him up, he didn't want to leave! I highly recommend Lauren and only wish we had found her sooner.”

“Laura and Christian did an incredible job taking care of Hanoi for the day. They both have a wonderful energy, same goes to their two beautiful dogs. They were sitting another pup at the same time, who matched perfectly Hanoi’s vibe. They took them to the beach, and made me feel jealous with all the vids and photos they sent of them having a blast. Thank you, will definitely repeat if I need daycare services again soon!”

“Emily provides a safe and comfortable environment for our pup plus a nice backyard to play in. We can always tell how well our pup is cared for when we make a return visit and he runs to the front door wagging his tail. Great communication and sharing of updates, definitely will use her again when we visit South Tahoe.”

“We were very pleased with Kendal and Lola. Kendal house got a nice fenced yard and it’s located in a beautiful and safe area. I definitely recommend Kendal if you need help with your pet. Thank you Kendal!”

“Jan was AMAZING! I’d give 6 stars if I could. Jan took Toby to the beach and sent us loads of photos. Toby was exhausted when we got home(as any dog owner knows, this is a good thing!). Also shows that Jan was out and about with our little one, which we are also super appreciate of! We will use Jan again the next time we are in Tahoe.”

“Kristian was great. My dog came back a very happy camper. Kristian is great with communication and providing updates and pics and vids. He was extremely flexible. I highly recommend!!!”

“Stephanie and her family are amazing! My family and I visited Lake Tahoe for the weekend and needed a sitter for our pup Snow, because we didn’t want to leave her back in our rental while we head out and do some activities. She was so responsive with many updates and pictures of my Snow! The next day, we needed to book again super last minute, and she welcomed Snow again on such short notice. Amazing service and amazing people. Definitely recommend!”

About: With over 5 years of dog sitting experience serving 50+ families and dog walking since age 20, I bring reliable, compassionate care to every pet. As a certified Physician Assistant, I'm skilled in administering medications and monitoring health needs, making me especially equipped for senior pets or those with medical conditions. My active lifestyle in South Lake Tahoe means high-energy dogs get the exercise they crave through trail hikes and outdoor adventures, while senior pets receive gentle, patient care tailored to their comfort. Whether your pup needs training reinforcement, daily walks, or a trusted companion while you're away, I treat every dog and cat like family. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pets! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2pm, giving me ample time for walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures. Whether your pup needs daily walks or extended stays, I can accommodate most schedules and provide personalized attention when your pet needs it most. I have an unfenced yard and one friendly, well-socialized dog who loves making new furry friends. Your pet will enjoy safe playtime on leash in a secure outdoor space or calm companionship indoors, depending on their personality and needs. I can easily crate your dog if needed for their comfort and safety. As a healthcare professional, I maintain a clean, organized home environment and follow any special instructions carefully to ensure your pet feels safe and loved while you're away.
“Melissa is quick to respond, very accommodating, and has a lovely dog of her own. She took great care of Bonnie over a couple days, including a holiday (which was so nice), and sent pictures through them both.”

About: I've owned Australian Cattle Dogs (red/blue heelers) my entire life. My beloved most recent 12 year old Red Heeler named Austin passed away last summer. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. If your dog cannot be left alone for a few hours at a time you'll need to look elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access. I would prefer to care for dogs in my home but open to house sitting also.
“Nettie saved us last minute over Christmas and was so pleasant. Our pup really seemed to be happy to be there. Sounds like they had a good time and went for a hike. Highly recommend! Thank you Nettie!”

“Lara did an amazing job watching, walking and caring for our 2 little dogs while on vacation in South Lake Tahoe. She will be watching them again this week so we can parasail, have dinner and see Miranda Lambert in concert at Harveys Hotel and Casino. Thanks again Lara”

“Caitlin and her husband took great care of my jack russell Jackie while we were skiing for the day. They send me updates during the day and were flexible with the pick up time, as we were coming back from the mountains. Caitlin was great at communicating and ultimately my dog did not get along with hers, they made sure to keep them separate to ensure both pups were happy. I highly recommend them. Thank you!”

Emily was a lifesaver during our trip to Lake Tahoe. We have a new rescue dog and although she is very sweet, she can be very nervous around new people and new environments. Emily was great kept us updated with pictures of her throughout the day. She also went above and beyond giving me tips and helpful information on dog-friendly beaches around the south lake. 5 stars for Emily!

Jessica was absolutely amazing!! She took such great care of my dog while I attended a wedding away from home in Tahoe. She sent me multiple updates, took my dog for a walk and made my dog feel right at home! She was so quick to respond to my messages. She treated my dog like she was her own. 10/10 recommend Jessica to care for your pup!!

We booked this daycare very last minute, and Jason was incredibly professional, patient, and accommodating throughout the whole process. He took the time to understand QB’s personality and made us feel comfortable right away. Communication was clear and prompt, and it was obvious that Jason genuinely cares about the dogs he looks after. QB came back calm and happy, which really says a lot. We truly appreciated how flexible and understanding Jason was, especially given the short notice. We would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Kerri was fantastic with my senior dog, Lola. These days, Lola often has anxiety, but Kerri put her right at ease. Lola also has emergency medication, which fortunately didn't need to be used, but I felt confident that Kerrie could handle it. I highly recommend Kerri!

Diane was a wonderful host to our dog Finn! Her home was extremely dog friendly and they have the perfect set up for dogs of all ages. They have stairs for dogs to reach their couch and a perfect back yard with a very high fence. Their two dogs were very sweet and Finn appeared to get along great with them. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer Rover to watch our sweet boy. You could tell she loved him as if he were her own. Thank you Diane!
