About: Hi there! As a professional dog walker and sitter, I put a huge amount of pride and love into what I do. I understand the peace provided, knowing that your pet has been taken care of while you’re away. You can check out my daily outings with the best Tahoe Pups. I can provide care Monday through Saturday 8-5pm, including walking, check ins, feedings, grooming and pet sitting. I also provide later visit hours as needed. starting with a warm, calm welcome I make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable, wether they are in their own home or a new environment. I also make sure they are well exercised and given plenty of love and affection.
About: I've had pets my entire life, including both dogs and cats. I've had puppies and taken care of senior animals including giving medicine and extra frequent care. I mostly work from home and have a flexible schedule. I'm most available mornings and evenings, but can easily adjust my daytime schedule to be with your pet! I have a large fenced in back yard for your dog to explore and play. We recently lost our dog to cancer so no other animals in the house, but plenty of toys and beds for your pup to use. I am very pro-leash in public spaces, having had an anxious and reactive dog, leashes can make social situations a lot less scary! I also have a solid list of less crowded Tahoe trails to provide a more relaxing outdoor experience. Or, if your pup is a social butterfly, we can hit up more public hikes, parks, and beaches.
“Nettie saved us last minute over Christmas and was so pleasant. Our pup really seemed to be happy to be there. Sounds like they had a good time and went for a hike. Highly recommend! Thank you Nettie!”

“Im glad that I found Vivian to take care of Prince while we explored Lake Tahoe. I knew that Prince was in good hands. He warmed up to her and to the entire family at once. She took care of Prince very well and gave me updates.”

“Jan was AMAZING! I’d give 6 stars if I could. Jan took Toby to the beach and sent us loads of photos. Toby was exhausted when we got home(as any dog owner knows, this is a good thing!). Also shows that Jan was out and about with our little one, which we are also super appreciate of! We will use Jan again the next time we are in Tahoe.”

“We had a last minute request going through town to watch our 7 month old lab mix. Melissa was extremely responsive, flexible, and kind. We will book with her again next time we’re in South Lake!”

About: My fiance and I have a Bulldog Lab mix with epilepsy named Asparagus. Seizures with a 90+ dog are difficult, but I do what I need to to make sure he is comfortable and not a danger to himself. My life long friend, Dodger, passed away at 15 this last year. She passed in my arms, after about a year of doing everything we possibly could to keep her comfortable, including administering ointments and frequent diaper changes. I love animals more than I love people and have been caring for all sorts since I was very young. I also have experience with cats, chinchillas, and an assortment of reptiles, rodents, and amphibians. My schedule is very flexible, which is great because I can make room for all the lovely animals out there! I am a bartender around town, but this never takes up full days. I am attentive and caring. I am also very observant and great at reading situations, whether that be with the environment or other animals or needs more specific to your pet.
“I booked a daycare for Toffee when I went for dinner! She had a blast playing in the yard with the sitter’s other dog. She came home happy and tired, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The sitter was friendly and communicative, and I felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care. Would definitely book again!”

About: My husband Brendan and I moved to South Lake Tahoe last fall and we have a cute six month old Labrador puppy called Poppy. We’re looking forward to connecting with other dog lovers in the area! I am working from home in South Lake Tahoe and have a flexible schedule, so I can do drop offs and pick ups as well. I have a fenced backyard that our puppy loves. She loves other dogs and will keep them entertained. We are also fine with having dogs on the sofa.
“Indy had a great time with Lisa and her sweet dachshund, bunnies and kittens! Lisa was super flexible and took our booking at the last minute, and we really appreciated her positive attitude and the fact that she sent pics throughout the day. We will definitely book with her the next time we are in town!”

“Rebecca was great. She was very accommodating and kept our young border collie busy with long walks. Her house was extremely dog friendly and she has a great fenced in yard, too. We would definitely call Rebecca again if we return to the area.”

“Wow! What a great experience we had with Adam and Lauren. It was way above and beyond our expectations. We couldn’t say enough about their generosity and service. When we told Adam that we are having our anniversary, he made himself more available and making our trip more memorable. We highly recommend their service. We really like the way how Adam meets up first with our dog, and his knowledge about dog behavior and needs. The walks he takes our dog on were breathtaking views. You can see that they really love animals. So now, we have found our dog sitter for our dog, Rocky. So if you’re heading to South Lake Tahoe, and you need a dog sitter, we highly recommend Adam and Lauren.”

“Stephanie is amazing! Our 10month old husky puppy, Lumi, had an amazing time with her and her very well behaved dogs. I had to reach out to Stephanie on very short notice, and she was more than accommodating! I would recommend her to anyone and will be using her in the future!”

“This was our first time using Rover, and during vacation in a new city. Lara was amazing and helped us with our anxious pup. She was very accommodating with a late pickup time, and make sure our pup was comfortable all day.”

“Teeda is amazing!! If she is available during the times you need for your pet, book her! She is amazing! Literally felt like family watching our 2 dogs, I felt so confident leaving them with her and she was so kind and accommodating with our needs and during our family vacation. I can’t say good enough things about her! We will book again if we are in town!”

“Diane is great, she took care my dog with warmth, and enthusiasm. Even though he's a young puppy, she was tolerant about an accident, and did a great job getting him socialized with her dog, keeping them warm, giving him a chance to play in the snow, sending pictures of his adventures during the day, and hanging out with him. Would absolutely have my dog daycare at her lovely home again.”

About: As a mom of a husky malamute, I know how important quality care is for your dog & will treat your dog like my own! :-) I am on summer break so have open availability for dog sitting. I love to run, walk, hike, and am happy to include your dog on those adventures if it fits your dog’s lifestyle. I have a fenced yard with lots of space to roam and plenty of shade. Also happy to crate your dog if that is best.
“Diana did a great job looking after our pups!! She came and stayed with them at our airbnb for the day. She sent updates and pics so we knew they were well cared for. We came home to happy calm dogs :)”
