I am deeply observant of body language to ensure your pet is happy, comfortable, and never stressed. I also believe that communication builds trust, so you can always expect timely photo updates and detailed Rover cards after every visit!

About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years. I will spend all of my time with your dog, hiking, swimming, playing in the snow and cuddling. I am interested in boarding your dog while you enjoy Lake Tahoe. I live near the lake so there will be a daily visits walking along the shores. I will provide a safe and clean environment for your dog. When we hike, swim, play in the snow, they will be on a leash. I will always be very careful with your dog.

About: I grew up raising boxers including lots of puppies. I can give medications special needs care if necessary. I love dogs!! About: I started house sitting in high school and am highly adaptable to each animal and owner needs. I grew up with a dog, used to live with two beautiful german shepherds for 3 years, and have two adventure cats, Swoop and Riley, that live with me on the road in my camper van. I love animals. I’ve raised chickens and ducks, have plenty of experience with pet injuries and medication, walking large strong dogs, and take my cats out to explore the world. I am a huge hiker so if you would love for me to burn some energy out of your fur baby, I’m your girl but I’m also here for all the pet cuddles. I’m currently working Sunday-Wednesday in Incline but am available early mornings and evenings on those days with a lunch break. I have open availability all other parts of the Tahoe and Truckee, Carson City between Wednesday night and Sunday morning. I live in a van in Tahoe for the season so I have great flexibility. I have plenty of experience house sitting and can provide references as well. I always treat other people’s homes with respect and care. About: Hello! I'm Lauren and I absolutely LOVE getting to spend time with dogs and cats, as I miss having my own. I'm experienced with caring for dogs with separation anxiety, dogs and cats that need medication/special treatment, as well as cats and dogs with disabilities. I'm a patient caregiver and make sure every pet gets lots of love and play. Thanks so much for checking out my profile! I'm currently unemployed. Until then I have open availability! I can check on animals many times in the day, host pets at my house (preferred) and keep pets overnight. I live with my boyfriend, Chase who sometimes helps me with walks when I have multiple dogs. We have a small, short fenced yard for dogs to run around in. My home is dog and cat safe, where they will not be able to get into any plants, food, or objects that would be harmful. In the client's home, I follow normal protocol that owners use. I always pick up poop in the yard and if staying multiple nights at the owners home, I will take out trash, do my dishes, and clean as necessary (basically treat it like an Airbnb!)

About: I've owned Australian Cattle Dogs (red/blue heelers) my entire life. My beloved most recent 12 year old Red Heeler named Austin passed away last summer. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. If your dog cannot be left alone for a few hours at a time you'll need to look elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access. I would prefer to care for dogs in my home but open to house sitting also.

About: Hello! I’m a lifetime dog owner. I have two 10 year old dogs Arcata and Izzy and one girlfriend Chelcee. The four of us love to hike, walk, go backpacking, camping or just hang at the house. We would be happy to have another fur ball or two join our adventures. Or perhaps just be a couch potato like our dog Izzy. Whatever they prefer you can be sure we will provide a safe and fun environment. We have a large dog door and a decent sized clean backyard where our dogs love to sun bathe. I work from home giving me the availability to be present with all the fur babies. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets with a stranger. I’m usually doing homework in our small cozy home where I can be present with our guest(s) at all times. Our backyard is fenced in with a large dog door. We keep a clean tidy home with a fun easy going atmosphere. Most days this includes a walk or two. Followed by treat time. All dogs will be fed separately.

About: I live in a private home with a large, fully fenced-in yard off of Ski Run Blvd with three female rescue chiweenies. I have had and cared for dogs (large and small) as well as cats for 13 years and am loving, patient, and responsible. I love to get outside for runs down to the beach or to go hiking in the area, and try to bring at least one dog with me on every adventure. I have raised both puppies and cared for elderly dogs, including my own Golden Retriever Stewie who sadly passed away two years ago at the age of 12. I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry family members as well as I do my own! My schedule varies, but I keep it up to date in the app and can be flexible if anything comes up or if needs change. I have a fully fenced in, private backyard off of a quiet street that is perfect for lots of running around with my 3 dogs, who are incredibly friendly and get along with dogs of all ages and sizes (and are great at tiring out puppies!). My dogs are crate trained and usually are in their crates at night and when I am away for more than a couple hours, and I would be happy to do the same or whatever is preferred for yours.
