About: Hey there! I have lived my entire 30 years with dogs. From growing up with two golden retrievers to getting my own dog louie at 17- and seeing him through his senior years all the way up until his passing this past February. We still have his sweet loving sister Nala who is 5, a tender gentle girl who lives for fetch! She may be timid at first meet but is just a submissive gentle girl who eventually opens up for fun loving play if the other dog will have her :) I have dog and cat sat for family and friends since I can remember. I absolutely love animals and take care of them with immense responsibility and care as I know from my own experience they are often some of the most important beings in our life. My husband Louie (my dog Louie came first they just happened to have the same name! lol) is also an animal lover and instantly adopted my babies upon meeting and has always treated them with tender and diligent care. We are responsible loving and caring pet parents who take the responsibility of looking after your loved one very seriously! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. We look forward hearing from you. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule that I create with plenty of time to work around the needs of the animals I am caring for. We currently live in a home with an enclosed deck space, however whenever we aren't home we keep the windows and doors completely shut and locked.

For your peace of mind, I maintain an active Wilderness EMT certification, and my trail kit always includes canine-specific tourniquets and first aid. Flexible schedule. We prefer early, especially before a summer crowd, so that there is some safe space for everyone to run off leash and feel the freedom we all deserve. Selectively accepting a few well mannered companions. We'll keep a good eye. I have a couple spare tracking collars if that is a concern for off leash activity.

“I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

About: Ive had dogs all my life and I've cared for pets of all shapes and sizes and ages. My dog Jax is a testament to the quality of love and care I provide. I am currently unemployed so pet care and personal health are my top priorities. I try to do at least one dog related activity daily. I live in a very quiet and dog friendly neighborhood with a great yard for visitors. My dog Jax is an 8 year old Lab mix with the perfect temperament, he welcomes every guest into our home with warmth.

About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.

We have experience volunteering at the humane society, and have spent the last few years pet sitting dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel at home while in our care. We have a fenced-in backyard and live just minutes from the marsh and beach, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. We understand that every owner has their own routines and expectations, and we will always respect your instructions and your pet’s needs. About: I have owned a dog years ago. Miss having them around. I am only a dog aunt now. I am very active and love walks, runs, playing on the beach. I currently am not working and have more availability until August 19th. Starting then, I will be unavailable 7:30-3 Monday-Friday. I enjoy taking dogs for a walk in the morning and evening time. I live a pretty active lifestyle. I don’t mind taking your dog for a hike. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time and enrichment

About: I really enjoy spending time playing with animals and it helps me connect with them fast. Even the puppies, more energetic or a little naughty pets are no trouble for me, I stay patient and handle them with ease. So my work schedule is a part-time so I have planty of free time to take care of dogs and cats, which I absolutely love! I take care of dogs in their natural environment, their home, where they feel most comfortable and at ease while their owners are away :)

About: I’ve been around animals since a little girl. They’ve always caught my eye, i’ve dealt with little to huge doggies and they all been great! Taking care of them has always been a passion of mine. I’m currently working part time at a dog day care which i love and lets me have plenty of free time to watch your babies whenever needed. Health and cuddles are my top priorities! Since the passing of my own dog, I love to fit dog walks & snuggles into the nooks and crannies of my days as well as the occasional sleepover. About: We hit the trails daily and have plenty of safe, secure space to exercise your pup. I'm currently taking on some gig work to supplement my grad school aid as I finish my degree. Time is as precious as the angels by our side, and I’ll treat your pup like my own. For your peace of mind, I maintain an active Wilderness EMT certification, and my trail kit always includes canine-specific tourniquets and first aid. Flexible schedule. We prefer early, especially before a summer crowd, so that there is some safe space for everyone to run off leash and feel the freedom we all deserve. Selectively accepting a few well mannered companions. We'll keep a good eye. I have a couple spare tracking collars if that is a concern for off leash activity.

“I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

I am a healthy balance of being active and outdoorsy as well as a homebody, so I am able to adjust my daily routine to meet your pet’s needs/wants! I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! I work Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 to 5 and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 3.
