“So glad Teeda was available for our 5 day stay in a non- dog house in Tahoe. She is such a great person and did a great job with my big 40lb puppy. In fact, when we took our pup for one of the days in the middle of her stay and then brought her back in the evening, our pup was excited and so willing to go back w Teeda and went right into her car! Teeda's house is dog paradise and you can tell she is such a dog lover. She is kind, funny and down to earth. As a first time puppy mommy it meant the world to me that Teeda sent lots of pictures and texts. I had such confidence that my baby was being well taken care of. Teeda was also flexible and caring, understanding that our schedule was a little up in the air. She is the equivalent of Mary Poppins for dogs- she was like the magic solution to all of my worries last week.”

About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.
About: I live in a private home with a large, fully fenced-in yard off of Ski Run Blvd with 4 female rescues. I have had and cared for dogs (large and small) as well as cats for 13 years and am loving, patient, and responsible. I love to get outside for runs down to the beach or to go hiking in the area, and try to bring at least one dog with me on every adventure. I have raised both puppies and cared for elderly dogs, including my own Golden Retriever Stewie who sadly passed away two years ago at the age of 12. I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry family members as well as I do my own! My schedule varies, but I keep it up to date in the app and can be flexible if anything comes up or if needs change. I have a fully fenced in, private backyard off of a quiet street that is perfect for lots of running around with my 3 dogs, who are incredibly friendly and get along with dogs of all ages and sizes (and are great at tiring out puppies!). My dogs are crate trained and usually are in their crates at night and when I am away for more than a couple hours, and I would be happy to do the same or whatever is preferred for yours.

My dog had puppies a few times growing up and I was responsible for caring for the mom and all the babies until they were old enough to leave. I absolutely love dogs & cats and have so much fun walking or sitting them! I always house sit & watch my friends dogs and cats when they are away. I am their go to person to ask. I work part time for accommodation so I am free most of the time to dog walk or sit! I only work part time hours. If you have a fenced in yard I would take them out to play or use the restroom! I also would take them on walks or if you want I can take them to the dog park or dog beach! Happy to do whatever makes you feel comfortable! If you need the dog crated I can do this as well. I will make sure they are fed at the correct times and follow any specific dietary instructions! I love being around all pets so I would be very attentive and always there to give them some love!

About: I've owned Australian Cattle Dogs (red/blue heelers) my entire life. My beloved most recent 12 year old Red Heeler named Austin passed away last summer. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. If your dog cannot be left alone for a few hours at a time you'll need to look elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access. I would prefer to care for dogs in my home but open to house sitting also.

If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. We understand that every owner has their own routines and expectations, and we will always respect your instructions and your pet’s needs. At our home, dogs are welcome on the couch, are surrounded by toys, and can hang out in backyard to sunbathe and roam free. “Tim T. is amazing! He got us out of a real bind. We were away from home for a wedding. We found out the day before the wedding that we could not leave our dogs in our hotel room. By some miracle, Tim happened to be available with less than a day notice. He picked up our dogs at the hotel. Usually one of our dogs takes a while to warm up to new people. We were nervous but Tim is some sort of dog whisperer! In no time at all, the dogs were in his car and off for a day of fun. They spent the day taking a drive, then a hike, and then relaxing in the lap of luxury at Tim's house. We got photos throughout the day and it was obvious that Tim was the dogs' new favorite person. We were able to enjoy the wedding stress free. Tim returned the dogs to us late at night. It couldn't have been easier. Our only regret is that we live too far away to make Tim our regular sitter. If he's available, don't hesitate! We'd give Tim more stars if we could!”

About: I have owned a dog years ago. Miss having them around. I am only a dog aunt now. I am very active and love walks, runs, playing on the beach. I currently am not working and have more availability until August 19th. Starting then, I will be unavailable 7:30-3 Monday-Friday. I enjoy taking dogs for a walk in the morning and evening time. I live a pretty active lifestyle. I don’t mind taking your dog for a hike. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time and enrichment

About: Hi! I’m Nicole, and this is my partner Alex. We both work fully remote! We spent the last few years traveling abroad. We’ve landed in Lake Tahoe for the foreseeable future! We provide a safe, active, and loving environment for your pets while you’re away. Since we are both fully remote, your fur baby gets consistent attention, not just quick check-ins. Our days naturally include multiple walks (morning, mid-day, and evening), outdoor time, and plenty of downtime for cuddles and relaxation. We live an active lifestyle and love having a furry friends alongside us for walks, fresh air, and exploring, but we’re just as intentional about creating a calm, secure space at home so your pet feels comfortable and settled. We’ve cared for pets for over 10 years, including friends, family, Rover clients and other pet sitting platforms, in both our home and theirs. We’re very attentive and always know where your pet is, so you never have to worry about safety or supervision. Our goal is simple: when you’re away, your pet isn’t just being watched, they’re having their own little vacation. If you’re looking for reliable, communicative sitters who will treat your pet like their own, we’d love to help. Our daily step goal is 8-10k steps so walks are a breeze starting first thing in the morning and after every meal. Nicole loves to create a calm environment in the home and cozy up on the couch. Alex is very active and will go for hikes, longer walks, and loves play. We have stairs in our home that lead down to our bedroom as well as to get down to the front door. If your pup has mobility issues, they’ll need to be okay with being carried up and down

About: Been around dogs my whole life. Fast forward to when I went off to college, since 2014 I’ve been dog sitting whether it’s daily walks or overnight stays with all types of dogs. Through my own dog’s experience , I’ve cultivated a caring, dependable, attentive way with animals that my friends have put full trust in and know their pets are taken care of worry free when they’re with me. About: Hello! My name is Alora, and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve spent the past year working as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital, so I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. If your animal is every hurt or sick, I am qualified to take care, and watch over them. I’m used exercising, cleaning up after, and giving medications to animals. I’m also a dog mom to a black and white Mutt named Ray. As far as exercising your pet, it can range from short or long walks, trail walks, runs, or playing with toys, depending on what they need/like. House sitting will consist of me keeping your pet company, feeding, and all the exercise they need. If needed I can spend the night, or if you prefer I can come back in the morning. I am currently a bartender so I can be available to take your animals out during the day while you work! I love to get outside and hike, bike, and go to the beach, so if you have an adventurous dog I can cater to its needs. I have a fenced in back yard that your dog can run and play in, as well as a few Roomate’s who love dogs as well.

About: I live in a private home with a large, fully fenced-in yard off of Ski Run Blvd with 4 female rescues. I have had and cared for dogs (large and small) as well as cats for 13 years and am loving, patient, and responsible. I love to get outside for runs down to the beach or to go hiking in the area, and try to bring at least one dog with me on every adventure. I have raised both puppies and cared for elderly dogs, including my own Golden Retriever Stewie who sadly passed away two years ago at the age of 12. I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry family members as well as I do my own! My schedule varies, but I keep it up to date in the app and can be flexible if anything comes up or if needs change. I have a fully fenced in, private backyard off of a quiet street that is perfect for lots of running around with my 3 dogs, who are incredibly friendly and get along with dogs of all ages and sizes (and are great at tiring out puppies!). My dogs are crate trained and usually are in their crates at night and when I am away for more than a couple hours, and I would be happy to do the same or whatever is preferred for yours.
About: I’ve been around animals since a little girl. They’ve always caught my eye, i’ve dealt with little to huge doggies and they all been great! Taking care of them has always been a passion of mine. I’m currently working part time at a dog day care which i love and lets me have plenty of free time to watch your babies whenever needed. I’m very aware of how to take care of pets. Their safety in these circumstances mean a lot to me and if needed reassurance that your dog is okay always give a call or text!

Teeda's house is dog paradise and you can tell she is such a dog lover. She is kind, funny and down to earth. Teeda was also flexible and caring, understanding that our schedule was a little up in the air. She is the equivalent of Mary Poppins for dogs- she was like the magic solution to all of my worries last week.”

About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.
