“Fiji had fun playing with the other dogs being cared for by Gina. I would recommend Gina as she provides great care and attention. Took our dog to the dog park to play. Our doggo was tired after the day so you know he had fun playing with other dogs.”

“Patty and Randy were wonderful sitters! You can tell they really adore dogs and it was such great peace of mind knowing our little Pepper was well taken care of. Will definitely use them again the future!”

“Very sweet, really cared about our dogs! It was our first time leaving our babies with anyone and we couldn’t have found better people to watch them. Will definitely be back”

“Kelly is AMAZING. She dog-sat my 3 month old puppy Layla and did a fantastic job. Layla didn't even want to leave at the end of the day. Kelly took the time to do a meet and greet and took lots of notes. She took Layla to a fenced in yard and played with her for hours. She gives all of her attention to her client which i really appreciated.”

“Melissa was such a trip saver! We requested her last minute for our 13month old high energy pup. She was so great with him, played ball and he loved being with her and Obi. If we come back to Tahoe, we will definitely look her up again!! Thanks for taking such good care of Duke while we did some adventures he couldn't join.”

“Tim T. is amazing! He got us out of a real bind. We were away from home for a wedding. We found out the day before the wedding that we could not leave our dogs in our hotel room. By some miracle, Tim happened to be available with less than a day notice. He picked up our dogs at the hotel. Usually one of our dogs takes a while to warm up to new people. We were nervous but Tim is some sort of dog whisperer! In no time at all, the dogs were in his car and off for a day of fun. They spent the day taking a drive, then a hike, and then relaxing in the lap of luxury at Tim's house. We got photos throughout the day and it was obvious that Tim was the dogs' new favorite person. We were able to enjoy the wedding stress free. Tim returned the dogs to us late at night. It couldn't have been easier. Our only regret is that we live too far away to make Tim our regular sitter. If he's available, don't hesitate! We'd give Tim more stars if we could!”

She was so kind to my dogs, her house is very lovely, and she has a nice fenced in back yard so my dogs were able to relax in the sun. I can highly recommend her as a pet sitter. You can tell she is a dog lover!!”

“We had an amazing experience with Raluca while we’re on vacation at Lake Tahoe! She took care of Wolfie for the day and made sure he was comfortable and well cared for while we enjoyed some time exploring. She sent us updates and photos throughout the day, which gave us peace of mind knowing that Wolfie is in great hands. When we picked him up I could tell that he had an awesome time exploring w Raluca after their long walks. Thank you Raluca, you’re the best!”

About: Hi, I’m AJ, 33, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. My love for pets started when I was just 5 years old—my mom promised me my first dog if I took care of her myself, and I proudly did. From that day on, caring for animals has been second nature to me. Growing up, my family and I adopted several dogs and cats, and I’ve never lived a day without animals being part of my world. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with pets of all kinds—puppies, seniors, rescues, and even dogs with special needs. While living abroad, I ran my own pet sitting and dog walking company in Lisbon, Portugal, and later joined Rover in Germany, where I cared for multiple repeat clients’ pets. From long walks and playtime to simple training and lots of love, I make sure each animal feels safe and cared for as if they were my own. Now based in Lake Tahoe, I’d love to provide that same level of care and attention to your pets while you’re away. I understand the trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Your pets deserve someone who truly loves them—and that’s exactly what I bring. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I structure my days around walks, playtime, and feeding, so your pet always gets consistent attention. I love getting outside, so daily walks and fresh air are a big part of my lifestyle. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or evening cuddles, I can easily adjust to fit your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a clean, pet-friendly environment where they’ll get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I keep a close eye on them at all times and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved. When I’m caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I would my own. I follow your instructions carefully, keep to your pet’s normal routine, and send regular updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Whether in your home or mine, my priority is building trust — with both you and your pet — so they feel happy, secure, and cared for at all times.
“Bingsoo has the best day with Marcelo and played all afternoon with his friendly dog, Chascas. He sent updates and pictures throughout the day as well, which we really loved seeing.”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own since I was less than 10 years old, and have had my current dog Sandy for about 6 years. I have a lot of experience with dogs of all kinds- puppies to seniors, healthy to serious health concerns, I’ve done it all! I am a work from home teacher, so even during the weekday I am home for the majority of the day. My dog Sandy and I usually spend the day playing in the backyard, relaxing on the couch, or playing with her toys. My work schedule is not demanding, and I have summers off, so I have all the time to spend with your pups. I live in a 2 story duplex with just myself, my 10 year old friendly dog Sandy, and my fiance Austin (who also loves dogs!). The backyard is fenced and is shared by the other family in the duplex. Sandy usually roams free in the home, but we can crate in the home if necessary.
About: Growing up with animals gave me a special appreciation and gratitude for all fur babies. I’ve cared for many animals throughout my life. I even lived on an animal sanctuary for a year and half tending to farm animals and I was just in Thailand a year ago volunteering with rescued elephants, cats and dogs. Where I live currently we have a few other happy dog friendly pups, all the more to guarantee your pup will be worn out ◡̈ I also have house sat from NYC, SLC, Sun Valley, ATL, LA, and Malibu. I’ve had several years as a house manager so no task is too big or small. I currently work remote full time and in my last year of my masters program. Fur baby breaks are perfect for my wide open schedule. I’m available and happily willing to take care of your fur babies within the comforts of their own home. Whether it’s just needing a few pets, feedings, plays, cuddles, beach visits or hikes I’m your guy.
About: Pets are family, deserving of quality time and care. I've personally cared for more than 20 animals in my lifetime, including my own pets, foster pets, and pets of friends and family. Each pet has their own unique personality and needs, and I am dedicated to providing personalized care so that they feel safe and secure. My home is a clean, quiet space, across from a beautiful walking trail. My two kids are experienced with animals and have a firm grasp of boundaries. I have a single cat who was brought up with a small dog. He likes his space but has been known to warm up to visitors fairly quickly. In our home animals are loved, respected, and valued. Your fur baby will be part of the family when they are with me. I am an independent contractor, so I set my own hours. I make your pet my priority when they are in my care. If your pet is happy to go for a ride they can even join me during my day to day activities! As a cat mom, keeping a pet safe home is important to me. If your pet is crate trained they will have a calm quiet space with music for their rest time. For exercise I am happy to take them for a walk on a nearby trail, or down to the beach for some water play (and will happily bathe them after). I would adhere to your feeding schedule, and with permission will use treats as positive reinforcement. If a pet needs bathing I am happy to do so, as long as they don't have any soap allergies (I use Burts Bees). I can also provide brushing, and nail trimming for cooperative pets who are comfortable being handled. Items that I request be provided by the parent are a harness, leash, personal bedding (for their comfort), treats of choice, food of choice, and your pets favorite toy.
