About: I've taken care of family members' and neighbors' dogs since I was a child. I have a soft spot for labs, northern breeds, and working dogs, but I love dogs of all kinds. I'm offering dog care services through Rover as a way to save up to adopt my next dog. Until then, I will love your dog as if they were my own. I work part-time from home so I have flexible time to make trips in the Meyers neighborhood for dog home visits, walks, and play time. I respect client's homes and preferences for pet care. About: My husband and I had one dog (Russell) for 12 1/2 years - and now have 2 puppies (Ash - just over 2 years old, Daisy - 1/2 years old). I love them more than anything, and have been using Rover to find dog sitters for the last ~10 years! I am finally retiring and am excited to now help others! Ash and Daisy love other dogs - and we go on lots of adventures - and go on shorter walks and have fun times at home too. I’m excited to take you dog with us, or have your dog or dogs over for stays…..I can drop by to help and do other things as well, whatever you would like to make sure that your dog or dogs are loved while you are away, working, or having fun in Tahoe! I love being outside, enjoy longer walks, and I’m currently training for an ultramarathon—so your dog will always have a willing, energetic walking partner. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, energy level, and any special needs so I can keep their day feeling familiar and stress-free. I use leashes on all walks unless otherwise requested, avoid unsafe areas, and closely monitor weather and trail conditions here in Tahoe.

About: I have always had a large dog family. I’ve always been the designated child to walk and take care of our dogs. I have a passion for dogs. Bonding with them and making sure they are happy I’m currently working as a snowboard instructor on the weekends and would have plenty of time throughout the week to bond and take good care of your dogs. I am very health and fitness oriented so hikes, walks, and beach days are in my routine. I can crate your dog if necessary but I’d prefer not to. About: I've cared for my family dog for the last 2 years. He's a husky mix, so I am aware of the needs of active breeds and I am dedicated to meeting these needs. I also cared for my boss's dog while he was away for 2 months. I stuck to their routine and gave them the best care possible. I am currently working with the California Conservation Corps based out of Meyers. I'm available mostly in the evenings and Fri-Sunday. About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years. I will spend all of my time with your dog, hiking, swimming, playing in the snow and cuddling. I am interested in boarding your dog while you enjoy Lake Tahoe. I live near the lake so there will be a daily visits walking along the shores. I will provide a safe and clean environment for your dog. When we hike, swim, play in the snow, they will be on a leash. I will always be very careful with your dog.

About: I live in a private home with a large, fully fenced-in yard off of Ski Run Blvd with three female rescue chiweenies. I have had and cared for dogs (large and small) as well as cats for 13 years and am loving, patient, and responsible. I love to get outside for runs down to the beach or to go hiking in the area, and try to bring at least one dog with me on every adventure. I have raised both puppies and cared for elderly dogs, including my own Golden Retriever Stewie who sadly passed away two years ago at the age of 12. I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry family members as well as I do my own! My schedule varies, but I keep it up to date in the app and can be flexible if anything comes up or if needs change. I have a fully fenced in, private backyard off of a quiet street that is perfect for lots of running around with my 3 dogs, who are incredibly friendly and get along with dogs of all ages and sizes (and are great at tiring out puppies!). My dogs are crate trained and usually are in their crates at night and when I am away for more than a couple hours, and I would be happy to do the same or whatever is preferred for yours.
