About: My husband and I had one dog (Russell) for 12 1/2 years - and now have 2 puppies (Ash - just over 2 years old, Daisy - 1/2 years old). About: We are an active family living beside miles of National Forest Land. Our quiet neighborhood is very convenient for pick up and drop offs. We are the first neighborhood you hit coming into South Lake Tahoe and the last one out of town. We are a magnet for dog sitting in our neighborhood, but we also have volunteer experience at our shelters and Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care. Luckily, I work from home which means I get plenty of time to play fetch, go on hikes, and snuggle with your four legged companions. I currently work from home, so I will have plenty of time with your pups. I prefer to be outside for fun so it’s the best of both worlds. I have a fully fenced in back yard. We have miles of national forest land down the street and my friendly pack will always make their stay more enjoyable.

About: I've owned Australian Cattle Dogs (red/blue heelers) my entire life. My beloved most recent 12 year old Red Heeler named Austin passed away last summer. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. If your dog cannot be left alone for a few hours at a time you'll need to look elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access. I would prefer to care for dogs in my home but open to house sitting also.

“Brett was awesome with my dog Scout. He was a great communicator and flexible with drop off time. Scout had a great time hanging with Brett at home watching sports and even went on two different hikes in the area. Scout came home exhausted and happy. Would definitely use Brett again !!”

“Adam and Lauren were amazing with my hyper husky. They have a very nice and open space for doggos to run around in the back yard. They were both very welcoming and understanding of different dog behaviors. Very passionate about pets ands willing to continue learning more about particular behaviors. About: My husband and I had one dog (Russell) for 12 1/2 years - and now have 2 puppies (Ash - just over 2 years old, Daisy - 1/2 years old). I love them more than anything, and have been using Rover to find dog sitters for the last ~10 years! I am finally retiring and am excited to now help others! Ash and Daisy love other dogs - and we go on lots of adventures - and go on shorter walks and have fun times at home too. I’m excited to take you dog with us, or have your dog or dogs over for stays…..I can drop by to help and do other things as well, whatever you would like to make sure that your dog or dogs are loved while you are away, working, or having fun in Tahoe! My puppies ‘run’ my day, every day! I would take care of yours the same!….walks, play time, breakfast, dinner, sleepovers. Your dog would be loved! I have a fully fenced yard…filled with grass in the summertime and snow in the winter! I have 2 puppies that love company, and are very friendly!

“My family was on a short vacation and didn't realize dogs were not allowed where we stayed. I contacted Laura and she accepted my boarding request quickly and even came to picked up our pup. She sent pictures and videos throughout the day and I must say our doggy had a vacation herself! Laura took her on a beautiful walk through the snow and then another to the beach. Our pup then got to play with Laura's two dogs. I cannot recommend Laura enough and I will certainly be contacting her to watch our girl next time we vist!”
“Tim was absolutely fantastic with my Brody Boy! He was immediately comfortable with him and they became fast buddies! They went on many adventures during Brodys 3 day stay and he sent many great photos of their walks, hikes, and snuggles, which I loved! Tim had great and fast communicatiion with me during his entire stay and he was also very flexible with some last minute changes.
