About: Hey there! I have lived my entire 30 years with dogs. From growing up with two golden retrievers to getting my own dog louie at 17- and seeing him through his senior years all the way up until his passing this past February. We still have his sweet loving sister Nala who is 5, a tender gentle girl who lives for fetch! She may be timid at first meet but is just a submissive gentle girl who eventually opens up for fun loving play if the other dog will have her :) I have dog and cat sat for family and friends since I can remember. I absolutely love animals and take care of them with immense responsibility and care as I know from my own experience they are often some of the most important beings in our life. My husband Louie (my dog Louie came first they just happened to have the same name! lol) is also an animal lover and instantly adopted my babies upon meeting and has always treated them with tender and diligent care. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

For your peace of mind, I maintain an active Wilderness EMT certification, and my trail kit always includes canine-specific tourniquets and first aid. Flexible schedule. We prefer early, especially before a summer crowd, so that there is some safe space for everyone to run off leash and feel the freedom we all deserve. Selectively accepting a few well mannered companions. We'll keep a good eye. I have a couple spare tracking collars if that is a concern for off leash activity.

About: Ive had dogs all my life and I've cared for pets of all shapes and sizes and ages. My dog Jax is a testament to the quality of love and care I provide. About: We are an active family living beside miles of National Forest Land. Our quiet neighborhood is very convenient for pick up and drop offs. We are the first neighborhood you hit coming into South Lake Tahoe and the last one out of town. We are a magnet for dog sitting in our neighborhood, but we also have volunteer experience at our shelters and Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care. Luckily, I work from home which means I get plenty of time to play fetch, go on hikes, and snuggle with your four legged companions. About: As lifelong dog owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. We have experience volunteering at the humane society, and have spent the last few years pet sitting dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether they need long walks, playtime, or just some cuddles on the couch, our goal is to stick to your dog's normal routine and treat them like one of our own. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We work 3–4 days a week and often work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home or available throughout the day. If we do work the same day, our shifts are in the evening, so we still have the entire morning and afternoon to spend with your pet. About: I’ve always had pets and been around animals since I was young. Since moving to Tahoe I watch animals on a weekly basis, and enjoy every minute! I work remotely and I am able to watch dogs throughout the day. The remote job also allows be to travel and be more attentive to the pets. I am very big on attention and activity. “Breanna and Dan were the ultimate dog sitters! Their home is close to beautiful trails, marshes and beaches so it’s like your pup is on a vacation of their own in Tahoe. They took Roo on multiple adventures on her short 24 hour stay and consistently sent me photos and updates. They were very quick to get back to me and coordinating our schedules and booking was super smooth. Roo seemed very at home, comfortable and loved on, I would highly recommend Breanna and Dan as your dog sitters. I will be booking with them for any future Tahoe adventures.”
About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.
About: We hit the trails daily and have plenty of safe, secure space to exercise your pup. I'm currently taking on some gig work to supplement my grad school aid as I finish my degree. Time is as precious as the angels by our side, and I’ll treat your pup like my own. For your peace of mind, I maintain an active Wilderness EMT certification, and my trail kit always includes canine-specific tourniquets and first aid. Flexible schedule. We prefer early, especially before a summer crowd, so that there is some safe space for everyone to run off leash and feel the freedom we all deserve. Selectively accepting a few well mannered companions. We'll keep a good eye. I have a couple spare tracking collars if that is a concern for off leash activity.
“Jennifer was a wonderful care-taker for our 60lb Vizsla. She was accommodating, communicative, and thoughtful, and cared for George as if he was her own. She made sure that as an active dog, he was adequately stimulated, and she made sure he was comfortable in his foreign environment while we were away. In addition, she made sure to send us updates in a nonintrusive yet fully transparent way. As dog parents, we felt calm and confident that George was in safe and loving hands. “Tim was awesome! We had our dogs at our wedding but didn’t want them around for the loud music, so Tim came to our venue to pick them up during dinner! They had SUCH a good time - so many great pictures of the two of them with Tim and other new dog friends to hang out and play with. They are passed out from all of the fun activity”
