“So glad Teeda was available for our 5 day stay in a non- dog house in Tahoe. She is such a great person and did a great job with my big 40lb puppy. In fact, when we took our pup for one of the days in the middle of her stay and then brought her back in the evening, our pup was excited and so willing to go back w Teeda and went right into her car! Teeda's house is dog paradise and you can tell she is such a dog lover. She is kind, funny and down to earth. As a first time puppy mommy it meant the world to me that Teeda sent lots of pictures and texts. I had such confidence that my baby was being well taken care of. Teeda was also flexible and caring, understanding that our schedule was a little up in the air. She is the equivalent of Mary Poppins for dogs- she was like the magic solution to all of my worries last week.”

About: We are an active family living beside miles of National Forest Land. Our quiet neighborhood is very convenient for pick up and drop offs. We are the first neighborhood you hit coming into South Lake Tahoe and the last one out of town. We are a magnet for dog sitting in our neighborhood, but we also have volunteer experience at our shelters and Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care. Luckily, I work from home which means I get plenty of time to play fetch, go on hikes, and snuggle with your four legged companions. I currently work from home, so I will have plenty of time with your pups. I prefer to be outside for fun so it’s the best of both worlds. I have a fully fenced in back yard. We have miles of national forest land down the street and my friendly pack will always make their stay more enjoyable.

About: I've owned Australian Cattle Dogs (red/blue heelers) my entire life. My beloved most recent 12 year old Red Heeler named Austin passed away last summer. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. If your dog cannot be left alone for a few hours at a time you'll need to look elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access. I would prefer to care for dogs in my home but open to house sitting also.

About: I have owned a dog years ago. Miss having them around. I am only a dog aunt now. I am very active and love walks, runs, playing on the beach. I currently am not working and have more availability until August 19th. Starting then, I will be unavailable 7:30-3 Monday-Friday. I enjoy taking dogs for a walk in the morning and evening time. I live a pretty active lifestyle. I don’t mind taking your dog for a hike. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time and enrichment

About: I've cared for my family dog for the last 2 years. He's a husky mix, so I am aware of the needs of active breeds and I am dedicated to meeting these needs. I also cared for my boss's dog while he was away for 2 months. I stuck to their routine and gave them the best care possible. About: As lifelong dog owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. We have experience volunteering at the humane society, and have spent the last few years pet sitting dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether they need long walks, playtime, or just some cuddles on the couch, our goal is to stick to your dog's normal routine and treat them like one of our own. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We work 3–4 days a week and often work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home or available throughout the day. If we do work the same day, our shifts are in the evening, so we still have the entire morning and afternoon to spend with your pet. We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel at home while in our care. We have a fenced-in backyard and live just minutes from the marsh and beach, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. We understand that every owner has their own routines and expectations, and we will always respect your instructions and your pet’s needs. At our home, dogs are welcome on the couch, are surrounded by toys, and can hang out in backyard to sunbathe and roam free. Whether your pet is staying with us or we are caring for them in their own home, our goal is to create a safe, trusting, and stress-free environment for both owner and doggo.
About: Hello! I grew up with dogs and cats, I love them all. Big and small. I have experience with all ages and most breeds. I’ve fostered kittens/cats in the past. Animals are the only things that know true unconditional love. I have fur babies of my own and they are everything to me. When taking care of your fur babies I will be bringing my daughter. She is 4 and has been around many dogs. I will decide at our meet and greet if this would be a good fit for us. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thank you!
