About: Growing up, I’ve always had dogs at home and I helped take care of them with lots of love! I have experience with taking care of puppies to older dogs. Dog walking and day sitting:) I currently work part time at a cafe in Tahoe! I’m always looking to be active especially since I have a standard poodle who’s high energy. I play/love on my pets, feed at the right times, take them out often, and they are always with me so I can watch them.

My family has trained working dogs, including avalanche and search-and-rescue dogs, which gave me a deep respect for canine behavior, safety, and communication. I’ve owned high-energy breeds like huskies and now have a playful golden retriever. Whether your dog loves long walks or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I work from home as an independent contractor, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks and check-ins throughout the day. I love being outside, enjoy longer walks, and I’m currently training for an ultramarathon—so your dog will always have a willing, energetic walking partner. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, energy level, and any special needs so I can keep their day feeling familiar and stress-free. I use leashes on all walks unless otherwise requested, avoid unsafe areas, and closely monitor weather and trail conditions here in Tahoe.

My cat, Maithai, likes to observe dogs from a distance and stays to herself unless she is in a playful mood. She can be separated as well since my spacious 3 bedroom home offers such accommodations. About: My husband and I had one dog (Russell) for 12 1/2 years - and now have 2 puppies (Ash - just over 2 years old, Daisy - 1/2 years old). I love them more than anything, and have been using Rover to find dog sitters for the last ~10 years! I am finally retiring and am excited to now help others! Ash and Daisy love other dogs - and we go on lots of adventures - and go on shorter walks and have fun times at home too. I’m excited to take you dog with us, or have your dog or dogs over for stays…..I can drop by to help and do other things as well, whatever you would like to make sure that your dog or dogs are loved while you are away, working, or having fun in Tahoe! About: What I would say sets me apart from other walkers/sitters, is my care and attention to each dog’s unique needs. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and adjust my care style accordingly. I have always had a passion for animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is extremely flexible! I am available almost everyday, all day to care for your pups! I just recently moved up to South Lake for college and am living in the dorms, so I’m trying to save up some extra money doing what I love! On walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy. I always stay alert to surroundings, and avoid busy or unsafe areas. I always make sure to bring water on longer walks, watch for signs of tiredness or overheating, and give them time to sniff and explore. I also reinforce good leash behavior with gentle guidance and positive encouragement. Each walk is a mix of exercise, care, and fun.

About: I have had pets all of my life. I have also been petsitting for friends for a very long time. I love animals more than anything and I would love to help out and look after your pets for you. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment. I am currently taking college classes online so I can provide a lot of my day to your pets. I promise to keep your home clean and organized and be extremely respectful of your personal property/space. I will also give your pet 100% of my attention while they are in my care.

About: I have watched dogs since I was young, both at my house and at the owners house. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time 😅 but prefer to keep it to 2-3 total. I have a dog of my own, a long hair-dachshund, that loves to play with all dogs. I make sure the dogs I watch get to play outside each day as I know how important it is for their health and happiness. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I often watch dogs at my house but can drive to check on dogs if it’s nearby. Most weekends I’m outside either hiking or playing the snow and love to take the dogs with me. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access to the upper deck. During the day I often take a morning walk and evening walk in my backyard ranging from 30 minutes to an hour depending on my work schedule that day. I have tons of dog toys and treats that keep the dogs occupied.
