About: I have been an animal, lover and pet owner since my young years of life! I’ve always owned dogs and cats and have watched over loved ones animals as well over the years. I’ve spent the last two years professionally walking dogs in the Tahoe area for families of all different needs - whether it is housesitting, drop- in visits, or boarding needs - for small dogs, large dogs, puppies, and older animals, my experience is thorough and backed by love. I am a very active individual and can take animals needing high activity, hiking or running, but I’m also happy to relax with those calmer pets who enjoy the slower peace of life. I have a large fenced backyard off of North Upper Truckee Road in South Lake Tahoe and access to endless trails such as the Angora Meadow and Big Meadow. I have one loving and sweet dog named Addy who will be a perfect and compassionate companion for your pets or can be separated if requested. My cat, Maithai, likes to observe dogs from a distance and stays to herself unless she is in a playful mood. She can be separated as well since my spacious 3 bedroom home offers such accommodations. I have reliable transportation with ample space in my Toyota Sienna. Whatever services you request or needs you prioritize - I can guarantee to be able to deliver. About: Ive had dogs all my life and I've cared for pets of all shapes and sizes and ages. My dog Jax is a testament to the quality of love and care I provide. I am currently unemployed so pet care and personal health are my top priorities. I try to do at least one dog related activity daily. I live in a very quiet and dog friendly neighborhood with a great yard for visitors. My dog Jax is an 8 year old Lab mix with the perfect temperament, he welcomes every guest into our home with warmth.

About: I have owned a dog years ago. Miss having them around. I am only a dog aunt now. I am very active and love walks, runs, playing on the beach. I work Monday-Friday. I usually work 7-3. I am available to meet for drop offs early in the morning or in the afternoon. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time.

We have experience volunteering at the humane society, and have spent the last few years pet sitting dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We work 3–4 days a week and often work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home or available throughout the day. If we do work the same day, our shifts are in the evening, so we still have the entire morning and afternoon to spend with your pet. We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel at home while in our care. We have a fenced-in backyard and live just minutes from the marsh and beach, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
